in my current (custom) (randomized) run, she's pretty insane as well, since all of her growths are in the 60-70% range (she got very blessed)
She has really high growth rates, she's like an Est that joins at the beginning, before being overshadowed by other units of the same class. Too bad FE7 might be the worst entry for archers.
you're right, you're right. though her growths ARE good enough to solo the entirety of the sacred stones, thankfully
I had one time where Rebecca turned out well. She was getting good level ups so I decided I would invest into her and meme on Vaida in the chapter where she comes at you with the supercharged Spear. I also got to watch a friend playing through the game and somehow not getting any strength levels of Hector for his first 10 level ups.
The law of GBA Emblem dictates that if you expect your optimal unit to be good, expect their level ups to be bad. If you call out a unit for being garbage, they *will* get the best level ups you've ever seen.
This is how we have people still go to bat for Nino and Amelia. That's just the rule.
Nino has the greatest stat growth in the game :/

@Sweetluckk The only thing that hold Nino back is join time. She joins at a time where there's only a few chapters left.
@@qmchale5130her averages aren't very far of Pent or Erk averages for endgame. We don't count 20/20 because normally an unit doesn't arrive that level.
same goes to Gwendolyn, she has the best growth among the knight
She's bad but at least she's the best knight (General is bad in FE6 tho bcs every chapter objective are seize the gate/throne)

Of all the stats to specialize in it just had to be freaking HP
Everyone already has a fairly high HP growth
He's definitely not a great investment target even when he does level well, but tbf "okay" is all a cav needs to be to do most of the things you want them to in this game. Still, I've never seen one flop THIS hard lmao
@@EggLemonSoup true cav utility extends well beyond combat, I am just suggesting that he isn’t great for combat and investment should go elsewhere
True, Kent and Sain are generaly better than Lowen especially if you start from Lyn's story

I agree about Lowen being really good I actually used him in an fe7 draft race a couple years ago and god it was wonderful. Heath also surprisingly was great that race for me i thought getting shafted on the other flier options would effect me terribly but i still almost came in first i was the 2nd one to finish.

It's the case where units aren't exactly bad, there is just enough better units to fit in the battle group

Archers being bad is a meme, not a reality. In a game where 2 range matters most, what else do you need? ...Not actually joking at all. All the units have enough base stats and growths that you can legitimately just pick your favorites, FE7 ain't really much harder than FE8.
Thank you! In my experience so far, not countering at 1-range still hurts a unit a LOT in this game, but for the sake of my running gag, I pray you're right
@@EggLemonSoupI'm sure you've beaten the game by now, but FE7 is definitely a game where deciding WHERE your units go is much more important than WHO goes. My last run, I decided to only use "bad" units, and somehow it was the easiest run I've ever done of this game thanks to good positioning and proper enemy kiting.
Edit: turns out I've already seen the next video of this run and just... forgot. And I'm pretty sure I said something similar there too, so I've done nothing but waste time on redundancy. Oops.

I always rescue bartre with Marcus & then Marcus never doubles any unit except soldiers. Then other units land killing vlow & take exp.

Yeaaaaaah sorry about that one. I realized it was a bit higher than everything else after rendering but I didn't think it was all that bad. An important lesson was learned today. Glad you enjoyed otherwise though :)
