I purchased the #14 and when I unwrapped it the sole looked like it had a piece of protective clear plastic that was peeling. I peeled it off and it left a residue that was horrible to get off. I tried getting it off with Goo Gone now the sole is scratched up. Any idea if this plastic is supposed to come off?

We looked at these putters in our warehouse and they do not appear to have any added protective piece on the sole that looks like it would leave a residue, only the standard plastic that comes wrapped around the club head. After looking at a few if these putters they all have the protection film on bottom (hard to notice but look close) . Can you please tell me if this film is made to stay on or peel off?
@@geraldfulop4832 hey, i know it’s a bit late, but i just got myself one of these putters (n°14) and removed the protective film on the bottom after testing it out on the putting green. it came out without any major issues, i just wiped it clean with a moist cloth afterwards. hope this helps!
@@watcher6068 I know this was months ago. If you're still curious, I believe the numbers indicate how long the head is from club face to the back end (in centimeters I believe). So smaller numbers are more blade like while bigger numbers are more mallet like. 8 would be kinda in the middle like a thicker end of a blade type head.

Does anyone know the shaft tip size of the 10.5cs. I’m trying to buy a new shaft for it and I can’t find any info on it
Is film on bottom made to come off or stay on?
It's supposed to come off. Mine left a sticky film but WD-40 took it right off and didn't affect the finish.
What’s the numbers mean 1. 2 3 4 -11 ?
The numbers refer to the model/head shape Cleveland gives each putter.
