I have tested many if these on the course in varying conditions, types of courses, types of grass and for a variety of types of shots. Plus many more. In the end interestingly if there is one ball that I found the best for me - even though my swing speed is relatively slow and am in my 70s it is the pro v1x. A close second is the srixon z star diamond 2 2023, and in wet and winter conditions it is the vice pro zero.
Great review! I’ve been playing Bridgestone Tour BX the past 2 years now and for me, the closest comparison has been the AVX. Similar outcome with a softer feel(my cold weather ball😊). A friend of mine works at a local golf store and gave me a sleeve of the new TP5 n TP5X to try out. As he knows, bfor changing to BX, I played TP5/TO5X religiously! I can tell u this, IMO of course, These Taylormade golf balls have improved TREMENDOUSLY!!!! From the feel and performance, to sound and looks( I like pix🤗)!!! The durability of the ball?…. Improved exponentially!!! After a round, I dnt have to think about putting it in my “practice ball” collection or nor do I have to get rid of it after multiple bunker shots and full wedge shots. Taylormade has done a great job this time with the formula of the cover. So when I run out of BX, I’ll return back to those TP5X golf balls. It may be a while but I’m looking forward to it😂🤙🏾😂

My opinion is that they are both too firm, don't have enough feel, etc. Seems like TM is going for distance but these balls don't feel/play like premium balls, imo.... That is probably why the durability has improved i.e. the cover isn't soft enough..??

This needs a do over. As previously stated in the comments, what you are saying and what the graphs are showing do not match. Makes it tough to pick which couple of golf balls to take out and try. I'm thinking the B RX or the B X.. maybe! lol love your reviews tho
The new yellow TP5x seems significantly less resilient than the old model. First time I've had a ball that hasn't lasted a whole round without significant wedge groove cuts and scuffing/rash out of the bunker.

Major. Same thing with the Srixons a couple of times.
Should provide this information in a spreadsheet for further analysis. Especially since the commentary didn't match the graphs some of the time.

Well TGW can't sell those as they are a Dick's Sporting Goods/Golf Galaxy only ball. They can only test what they sell.
The data might have helped but the words coming out of your mouth didn't match the graphic most of the time.
Not really helpful as it’s what works for you. Test needed to take place for different golf swing speeds
And yet those numbers are all across the board very close. Very reproducible stroke.
