    Thank you! I’m still having difficulty achieving a loud enough and clear tone using my hands. I get lovely sounds with the mallet set, but my direct touch seems to be weak. I do pay attention to making sure my strikes are light and distinct, but there’s not much sound coming out...yet. I’ve reviewed several videos on technique. I think it might be time seek out a direct teacher, because for me this has not been an easy instrument to play. Do you give lessons, or have any recommendations? I live in Connecticut.

    • @ReWildYourSoul
      @ReWildYourSoul  5 лет назад

      Hey there! Yes the initial difficulty is really getting the right strike, so I can understand that being tough initially.
      The strike and letting your finger bounce off is really the trick to a clear sound.
      I do indeed take students for online and in person lessons.
      I am a state above you in Massachusetts so not all that far,
      Feel free to email me if you want to figure something out!

    • @ReWildYourSoul
      @ReWildYourSoul  5 лет назад

      I have never really had a problem with that. The inside is well sealed and does not need to be wiped or cleaned. Even a bit of hair/fur should not cause any problem :)
