You guys should’ve definitely changed your shirts between each drum 😂😂 oh shit, that would’ve been hilarious. But this video was awesome nonetheless, great demo - thx!
@@dougclendening5896they are asking if the scale itself is tuned to 440hz. most instruments have the note “A” tuned to 440hz but some have their “A” note tuned to a different frequency, for example 432hz or 444hz. doing this leads to all other notes in a scale being slightly different in hz from tuning to tuning. its important to know what your instrument is tuned to because if you have two instruments with different tunings playing at once, the frequencies will clash and it will sound like doodoo.
I'm just starting out learning about handpans. Is it that you have to buy a different handpan for each key? I know that is the case with penny whistles (unless you try to transpose which would not work for complicated songs). Also, what brands do you recommend for a complete beginner? Something not extremely expensive for a professional, but also not just a piece of junk?
Brilliant! Perfect way to showcase your Opsilon pans and their beautiful sounds! Best scale comparison ever! 🛸 🎶 …..🤗…🦋
I love D Minor Kurd a lot, but the C# Minor Amara is out of this world for me, and I'm glad I've bought this from you guys!
Thank you for sharing. It is a wonderful way to explore all the many scales
I love the B2 Opus scale! But all of them are marvelous scales!
Saludos desde Tenerife, sois muy grandes. Salud y suerte!!
Very helpful thank you!
wow - what a lovely video, very helpful and instructive too!
Super hilfreich und klasse gefilmt 😊 Danke

My fav from this selection is the E Milky Way!
Very nice instruments...
I like the Akebono B, Dm Kurd and B2 Opus (and that one has beautiful colors).
WOW! hard to choose, all sounded amazing :) I am between the Akebono & the Amara :)
This was awesome
Great comparisons! Thanks! Are they all in 440Hz?
That's not how sound waves work. Each note is its own unique hz. The closest note to 440hz is an A.

The C# Aquila was the only one that sounded different to me...I need to replay this video
I’m hoping for my very firs handpan this Christmas
Oh no :( I love all of them. Now which one do i choose :| :) Maybe just a tad preference for D minor, i hope this is the one 😊
Good decision!

Me too. Same question. Have you heard any thing ?
I know you wrote that 2 years ago, but curious to know if you have since become a member of the Handpan Fam?

E Major?
Are any hand pans tuned to 432 and not 440?
The instruments shown in this video are all tuned to 440Hz, but we can build any scale in 432Hz as well
Akebono is amazing scale!
True :), we really love to build that scale.
And how is the sound without adding massive amounts of reverb? ;-)
Don't think they edited it to sound better. Or? Dk.
No FX on this video, what you hear can be the room hall, you are welcome to come and check your self! :) wish you all the best, Rafael Sotomayor
@@OpsilonHandpan I knew it! Neat instruments, just like all the others! Thank you for demonstrating.
