My favorite thing about Hendrix is the looseness, yet dead on precision of his playing. You could really tell he was a musician who’s strat was a third arm.
I always have loved how hendrix used the 4th frett (C#- C) for some of his riffs like Freedom and Crosstown Traffic. Robin Trower certainly took inluence from those ideas for Day of the Eagle (also great). Wonderful job as always!!!
*Hendrix estate wants to know your location*
let Jeannie find her fucking self🖕

By the way, great video as always Danilo =)
Watching this awesome vid before it gets taken down
Very nice. Lots of subtlety
The person who most inspired me to play the instrument. He and David Gilmour really inspired me to play.
There's is a obscure song (ok...not so obscure) in a record called Rare Hendrix, named GoGo Shoes (or something like). The opening is a remarkable riff in E major
Top 10 RKOS by Randy Orton
His set at the Holiday Inn on Thursday's during happy hour is good too. He seems down to earth and drinks are half price
Grandissssssimo Danilo 🎸🎸🎸👍👍👍
Awesome riffs!! But fore some reason that flanger bothers me
Breathtaking Jimi ❤️
Awesome riffs of jimmy
Love the fact that the guitar is named Voodoo Child.

"Bold as Love" and "Power of Soul" could've easily made this list as well. Good lineup though.

You gotta think though, it's a TOP 10, those are 6 songs, if they were there instead of 6 in the video, than people would probably be complaining about the 6 that got taken out not being there!
Just learned manic depression and it’s so much fun
Red house bold as love machine gun all along the watchtower sweet angel if 6 was 9 castles made of sand highway chile Izabella title #3 and the one that is most obvious HEAR MY TRAIN A COMIN??
AND FIRE
Bravo !!!!
Can you do a guitar cover of Freedom and Wind Cries Mary, please?
He’s not the best guitarist for nothing. He’s a God and Danilo you are not far 🤟
Only Jimi could make Manic Depression sound like a scorching rocker. Every time I watch these RUclips videos, or anywhere else, of other people covering the tune, it sounds like a droll composition. Not just with the cold rendition on the guitar, but also in the drum track. Gone is Mitch Mitchell's hyperactive jazz rhythms, replaced with Nyquil induced pitter patterns. Lol . At least it's a perfect reminder of just how brilliant and nearly inimitable Jimi really was.
Top 10 Riffs: KISS
Gustavo Chagas I did a Top 6 Kiss riffs on my channel. I didn’t have the money for 10 🤓😜
You could buy (or borrow for a sec) a left handed guitar, and use it upside down :)
TOP 10 Riffs: JAN BO!
I agree with all your choices, just not the order that you played them in. (OK, admission: I might've substituted "Ezy Rider" and/or "Machine Gun" for a couple of your choices.)
In muy opinion hoy should hace included Castles made of sand, very good job anyway!
my dream is always to get that skill 😔

ArisGoD1986 too expert. You just leave those alone.
Not many are skilled enough to play his riffs
ArisGoD1986 too advanced
My guitar hero, jimi hendrix? Nah, lil wayne

Voodoo child (the slight return) is the last song in electric ladyland, Voodoo Chile is another song from the album. It is a beautiful masterpiece
connor adcock I was surprised not see machine gun more
Or red house
0:10 your not the only one who has tried that.
when I started playing the guitar, I held it for the first half of the year, just rearranged the strings and that's it🙃
He could've just played it normally flipped the image;close enough lol
This video should just be 100 good riffs Jimi Hendrix, they’re all good
Every time I listen to some Hendrix I’m reminded of how much of a genius he was
Truth. It’s insane. No one sounded like this. No one wrote music like this. Insane.
He completely redefined electric guitar. His work still sounds amazing today, imagine how mind blowing it was to listeners of his time.
Yes and it depends on your mental state, (mood, awareness , how awake you are , etc etc) it often can sound different each time because he played so multidimensionally, doing so many different things at same time musically. You can't hear it all in a single session of most of his work. Even hear things you never noticed he was doing. Even Stevie Rarely Vaughn said that he heard something new in Are You Experienced album. I think mid 80s on radio interview.
This is 20 years after record release, he heard new things Jimi was doing! He said he got the record when it came out in 67.
I think Jimi's playing was so much a direct making sounds from guitar, no theory notes etc
like from his "gut" or all parts of body. Like a person singing , with no knowledge of structure of scales etc, just direct to voice sound wanting to make, any sound majeable with voice as Jimi made music sounds with extreme familiarity with possibilities.
Like a painter with a pallet of colors limited only by imagination.
Love that he opened for the Monkees for a while, until he couldn't stand it anymore!
Top 10 Riffs: Rage Against The Machine
Yesss!!
Fuck you he wont do what you tell him

Stained class
Forgot Spanish Castle Magic :(
And Castle made of sand
It's truth, nice song bro
No recognizable "riff", but I nominate Bold as Love
Love the drums, the chemistry between Jimi and Mitch was so very good!
I was doing the math in my head as it approached number one... "Ohhhh snap, it's gonna be Little Wing." And I was right.
Also, who else could have wrote any of these riffs? What a genius that guy was.
The Wind cries Mary, Manic Depression, Purple Haze, Hey Joe and Foxy Lady. So, to put it in a nutshell, half of the list is made of the "Are you experienced" album. Noice
Jimi's career spanned only 4 years
Well that may be so but it is their best record.
@@seanodonoghue116 axis is pretty dope too
He only has 4 albums
Andrew they put cry of love on here and that’s posthumous so all of those records must count
Top 10 Riffs: Rainbow
No seriously, you owe me an answer. How did you get that Wah tone on Voodoo Child? I'm in desperate need of this
JewlzTheRambler you can see the wah pedal he’s using in the video
@jewlztherambler it sounds and looks like he has some sort of chorus on it
Vox wah and an octave fuzz i presume
Yeah. That tone is awsome.
He's using a wah and a vibe at the same time
Thanks for reminded me how great Jimi was and what he did for the guitar playing world. I'm 70 and remember when I first heard him on the radio. He changed everything for me. He was #1 influence on my guitar playing.
Top 10 RUSH RIFFS please

Top 10 Smashing Pumpkins riffs?
Mi fa venire voglia di suonare più Jimi.... WE ALL NEED MORE JIMI IN OUR LIVES!!!
Little wing is such an underrated Hendrix song the melody is glorious and its fun to play
Its among his most well known.
underrated? it's like one of his most played songs in Spotify and everyone loves it and consider it one of the greatest guitar songs of.all. time
lol its the most played guitar song by musicians well known alike
It's not underrated at all, many consider it to be his most beautiful piece.
Apparently you don't know what underrated means. It Ranked 1. in the list because it's 'underrated'?
What effects are used in your Who Knows cover? That's such a fantastic tone.
Sounds like flanger with some distortion / high gain
'Voodoo Child' sounds so badass 😃🥵
The best left handed guitarris of all time🤘🏻
Jared Cruz He is a God
maybe even the best guitarist of all time.
Kurt Cobain is better.
Anthony Achurra lmao

GearGasms ok I’m gonna watch it !😄
@@GearGasms your pseudo reminds me something
We're like cousins or something!
@@GearGasms maybe ^^ nice to meet you
My favorite riff is one of the riffs in “power of soul”, he uses lots of different riffs in that song but the one that really cool is the one that John Mayer uses a lot (in the end of “who did you think I was live in la” ) in the Hendrix song it’s at 0 : 55 (in his live at the Fillmore east version)
All along The watchtower, machine gun????
All along the watchtower is a cover
TEODOSIO De Cillis Where ist a good Riff in all along the watch Tower? It’s incredible soloing over a 3 chord section not a riff
So is Hey Joe
Spanish castle magic??
@@yveslatour519 Not really, there's no actual author of Hey Joe. It's an anonymous old motif from american folk tradition.
My favourite riff is "purple haze" 💜
Hell yea
Ese y foxy lady

Voodoo Chile’s my favourite. Purple haze is a close second.

Top 10 riff's: NIRVANA.
Same power chord erevy song? Joke🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@rafaeldeleo92 It's Grunge rock. There's not much technicality to it.
@@dukethotness pearl jam is very technicality
Stone temple pilots change style and sound any album release(very creative and technicality)
Soundgarden time signature is very complexy and unusual(fusion classic rock and heavy metal)
Alice in Chains very dark, creative and unusual. Peak this was Dirt
Nirvana very influenced by punk rock and kurt Cobain not technicality(similarity in sound and riff, solos guitar only distortion).
But another band is very technic and creative.

top10 dire straits
My dad is a rockstar he kills all this I grew up in the 80s every night I had to listen to my dad playing loud ass guitar music and as I grew up I came to love this old real shit
I can’t be the only one who got goosebumps when little wing came on
you are a god the way you can tel guitarist apart i cant wen it comes to you you make it sound the best like you have capcherd all the greatest guitarist powers and can play them all👍
EXCELLENT tribute to the greatest guitarist!!! I "liked" your video and added it to my Hendrix playlist, so don't get me wrong when I noticed how many ghost notes, hammer on's, pull offs, tempos, unexplainable sounds, and over all "feel" was missed, for example, "Freedom" intro @ 0:16 was missing those unexplainable sounds that Jimi created from the strings' tension as he bent the strings or something (like i said, "unexplainable sounds"). Go back and listen closer to the original recording, it's difficult to catch, but in the intro to FREEDOM Jimi is making some pitches ascend, while other pitches are descending, it's kind of bizarre, and i've never heard anyone duplicate it. To hear it, you can't listen to the main riff, you have to pay attention to the lines in the behind the main riff. No one has ever come close to Jimi's fluidity, so please don't take my comments as a negative "dis" to you, they are meant as a compliment to Jimi Hendrix. I have nothing but MAJOR respect for your playing Danilo. Your bravery and intelligence for attempting to play the greatest guitar riffs known to man is deeply appreciated and applauded. I would give you a standing ovation if I heard you play Hendrix in a club! No one can be Hendrix, but you've done a great job of keeping Jimi's spirit with us. Keep up the good work! ps...If you want a fun "challenge"....try playing AND singing the "Stonefree" version on "Live at the Filmore East" released in 1999 on MCA. I've challenged hundreds of guitarist to try it, and not one has ever had the courage to attempt it in public or RUclips, but you might be the one guitarist who is up to the challenge ruclips.net/video/xvSebN5EZZI/видео.html
