So true - without compatibility and common interests / lifestyles then it’s most likely going to be to a road to unhappiness and resentment. I’ve realized this from my past two relationships, you can love someone with all your being but if you’re not compatible love won’t even matter.
Speaking as a women with 4 children. It’s not that women don’t want to have sex. It’s that they work outside the home and still have to come home and cook dinner, help with homework, was dishes, do launder, get ready for the next day. By the time you’re done, who has the energy for sex?! For the husband to say, “Well, I’ll h go look for someone who does,” is a cop out! Help the poor, exhausted woman so she CAN have the energy to have sex! How about the man helping her out a little before he decides to go have sex with other women! Sheesh! 🤦🏽♀️

Your talks have very good information in them. You do need a level of compatibility with someone. Also, being with a person who willingly listens to you, really hears you, your feelings, and gives thembvalidation, even if their views are different, is very importsnt for a successful relationship. Both people need to be willing to hear the other one.❤
Yes this is very true but if it involves a man this can be pretty rare. Exceptions being maybe in your teens, or in with some guys over 50. That 20 to 50 bracket they are almost all incapable

I’m feeling so distraught, Jonathan. I’m in a long distance relationship and I recently found out that he moved in with an ex-girlfriend while he studies for the bar exam. I didn’t know about this as we haven’t seen each other for awhile nor have we talked since he claims that he needs total concentration. Today I approached him about it over the phone and he of course denied it. Then made it seem like this was a big distraction for him and the exam. For months I feel like he’s been using the exam as an excuse to not talk about the shady stuff he’s done behind my back.

The sex thing is true, when I started dating this guy we talked about sex n it sounded like we were on the same page, a yr later I realized that wasn't true but I'd already fallen for him so I stayed in the relationship trying to get him to give me more in that dept..but he avoided it....I was crazy about him so I tried to ignore it,
