- $20 for this new light from Olight World - great little light that I'm loving so far. The cost is low and the value is high. With 180 lumens and having it run on 1 AAA battery - that's certainly a win - check it out!

It's been good to me. One advantage is that triple A's are readily available when there's a panic buying.
I recently bought the Olight and am blown away by the quality and practicality of it! The 5 lumens is perfect for standing in front of a mirror and removing eyelashes from the old eyeballs (which happens a few times a week).
Thanks much for the great Review!!
Very well done, sir. I like that light. I EDC the Microstream and have the same one for years, so I know I'd like this one, too. Thanks!
Thank you for the short and sweet. I so appreciate that and the practical demonstration.
I am extremely excited to buy one of these!
Awesome light, such a small and powerful package!
Would love to see you do a comparison video of this and the new rechargable Microstream. Love your videos. Keep up the great work!
Bruce H yes I plan to do that. Thanks Bruce.
Nice review. As an added bonus I stayed for the Dr. Squach soap commercial. Love those commercials!
I saw these on a webpage for sale. Yours was the first review I came across. Great review 👍
You did review years ago but I just picked this up in Norway for like 15 bucks. Very satisfied ❤
Love the minimalist design and simple user interface.
I like this light, I need to pick one up. Great Video.
Thanks for watching man.
Thanks. Got one of these on the way and wanted to see what others thoughts are. Thumb up for the review.
I would be interested to see a follow up video on this light after a year plus use. I have one on the way to me now to replace my Tool AAA as my EDC light.
Great light still. I use this one on and off pretty regularly. No issues for me.
Just got this one in the mail.
I just pulled the trigger on this, 25.95 on Amazon Canada free shipping thanks to Prime. I used to EDC the Thrunite Archer 1av3 but it was so unreliable 50% of the time it would not even turn on... I used to think it had the best features for a flashlight that size. I'm also eyeing the Olight M1T Raider.
Well?
Does it keep a sustained 180 for the full 21 minutes? Ordered one for my mum as she loves my old light i gave her but it way to big for edc ,just curious
Great review - great flashlight. Thanks for sharing.
Ive had a I5t eos and I3t eos for a few years now.Great little lights for the money.
Can I put a Lithium Ion 14500 3.7 v in this flashlight?
I love Olights and I liked your vid, but I'm not sure I agree that it beats the new Microstream, which has 250 lumens, runs quite a bit longer and is USB rechargeable. Granted, it's $30, but it appears to have some clear advantages. The only thing that seems odd to me about the new Olight is the 21 minute run time on high. Now, perhaps other companies lie about their run times, but this seems very short. Would appreciate anything thoughts on what I may be missing. Thanks for the video.
Jon L I plan on Getting one of the stream lights to check it out and compare it to this
well put, and i agree
aaaaaaand no 10440? boooooooooo! im a fan of the old microstream.
Just bought a desert one for mini survival vanquest pouch
Curved hat bill!! I kept watching the video! Lol
Is the cap plastic?
I miss the i3s. I feel like the low mid and high settings are more useful/practical than the i3t’s low and high setting.
Right now the most comparable to the i3s is the fenix e01 v.2, but it doesn’t come with a clip.
Try fenix E12 v2.0
Is it possible to hack it to only turn on the 180 Lumens every time? How does the push button works anyway?
HGST not that I know of.
Great video as always I just ordered mine yesterday can’t wait for it to come in I like the Micro stream but don’t like the fact you can’t use a normal battery
Al 76 micro stream takes a normal triple a battery.
Darren Yoder I have the new one microstream usb has a rechargeable aaa
My bad. Didn't know they came out with a new one!
Darren Yoder no problem it cool you should check it out
I'll pick one up, but it is going to be tough to beat my microstream USB.
The Microstream is a great little light - agreed.
Very nice!
excellent buy I recommend it
I was concerned what 180 lumen looked like. You just sold me on this for its size.
This has been a solid light for sure.
Can't go preaching without your flashlight!
True that.
Great review as always... I just ordered one off of Amazon. A bit late to the game, I already had the Baton 2 but wanted something that wasn't rechargeable, just took batts. This seemed perfect after this review.
Throw a 10440 in that bad boy.
Solid
Love my microstream someone stole it so trying out the olight
BRuH i just got 180 lumens cannon its HUGE i will test it at night...
Totally Tactical dude!
Using a protected ICR 10440 li-ion 3.7v rechargeable battery (same size as AAA) will double the lumens making the i3T EOS amazing bright on high mode. Unfortunately each battery cost $3.50-$4.00
Joel Anonymous will it burn out the led or circuitry?
@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 probably
@@entertainme7523 The switch went out on my unit after only 6 months.
Just brought one in coyote.
The microstream has some big drawbacks. The button sucks. Mine flickers on low. The USB charging is nice unless you decide to go outdoors with it and need a battery pack to recharge it.
That being said, just a few minutes on high is a joke. 9/10 times you’ll be using your flashlight on high. Even though it just takes one AAA battery, you’ll need multiple to keep this thing running for extended periods. The microstream is brighter and the battery lasts longer before having to recharge.
I’d take the microstream. There are things I don’t love about it but it’s just all around a damn good light.
My Olight warranty experience has been a freaking joke. I sent them an email concerning a warranty claim on my light and it took them 6 days to respond. They wanted to know when and from who I bought my light. After responding, they have seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth as I haven't heard back. I own 4 Olights but I doubt I will buy more. 5 year warranty my ass.
Too much going on with this light to be a micro stream killer. 45 lumens for 2.5 hours. That’s it. No high no low just light. This is in a class of its own. A quirky class.
Did you watch the video?
Not worth the price. The Zanflare f3 is half the price ($10) and a much better AAA light. Has three modes (which all AAA should have). 5 Lumens is not enough and while 180 is awesome, it only runs 21 minutes. If it had a 50 lumen mode, that would be the best of both worlds (enough light and still last battery wise).
P.s Olight customer service SUCKS.
gut jope +
So you got 21 min of light, or just 5lum???? It seems all of the channel have the same content, only what sponsors send you....
I agree that’s not a ton of output. Well it’s not a ton of output for a long time. I do think it’s a cool light since I don’t need to be using it a ton, short bursts won’t use up my battery too quickly. I will be interested to compare this to the new streamlight microstream in the future.
Do not buy one of these, I have two and both flicker after a couple minutes of use.
