Would you be able to make a video showing how to fix planar reflections in unreal 5.4? I’ve tried so many things but I’m almost ready to give up. Thanks for all the great videos!
@@GDXR it doesn’t seem to render correctly after building to the headset. One eye works correctly and the other eye has incorrect alignment or doesn’t render at all. It seemed to work in 4.27 and I haven’t been able to get it working correctly since then. Thanks for the response.
@@GDXR it doesn’t seem to render both eyes correctly. One eye works and the other is always way off when rendering the reflection and it makes the reflections unusable.
A have a question please: in the OculusXRHand component, there's a Material Override option, right? So, I want to add my own hand texture there but it seems to me that there's no skeleton mesh of the hands with UV maps to be exported so I can be able to use it as a model in order to map my own hand texture on it. Is there a way to access and export the skeleton mesh of the hands?

You could say that the right meta hand doesn't know what the left leap hand is doing. Thanks for sharing, handy to know. Glad you found the cause.

What's wrong with planar reflections in 5.4 I've never heard of any issues with it.

you need to map an exhisting skeletal mesh to the bone system and then you can modify it.
