@@MarcosElMalo2 The lasers are 10cm apart so they can then use that to determine the sizes of the various species they encounter. I'd estimate the first shark they encounter to be (very roughly)1.8 to 2 meters long since it takes about 18 to 20 of the 10cm laser gaps to cover the whole shark. This was just my quick calculation, the experts probably have much more sophisticated ways of measuring 👍
I wonder if the second shark was female. The one near the rover was male, could see the claspers. It would be wild if the one they were following there was hunting for females at the time this was filmed. Since there has been speculation as to whether six gills come up into shallower waters to breed and give birth, since it would be warmer water and a greater amount of food available for breeding and growth of babies.
I was swimming in that channel when this was filmed
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

......how many gills do you have?

Did they get your good side?
I like that you used both submersibles to visualize the shark(s). That was my idea to use both.
Another wonderful catch on video! Thanks for sharing.

10cm apart.
That is exactly right, 10 cm apart.

Moin! Wow ein Sechskiemenhai! Finde Tiefseehaie super interessant. Insbesondere der Kobolthai oder der Zigarrenhai
Palaus such a special place.
I counted 12 gills.

Amazing ❤. Look at the water current. Moving fast. I wonder if a human could go against it and win? 🤔❤ 🥰
