I would retry to lay them with maybe 2-3 matching color tones mixes and all layed on the car at the same time by like 4 painters. starting with the strongest colors followed suit to lighter, lighter etc...maybe the gold and coppers woudn't be that overpowering?? Or change the ratios of each ones? lighter more, heavier less???
The 1st 3 colors seemed to make a nice color too.. wouldn't mind seeing that experiment
The destination on this one was actually amazing ...though I have a question about it. Just based on the fact of normal loading for the top coat, I'm going to guess those were 5 gram bags of each pearl? So if someone were crazy enough to want to reproduce this, they would just need two gallons of top coat and 5 gram bags of each pearl?
My dad told me when he was younger, he worked at a body shop. When he bought his first car, he took alllll the little leftover containers of paint, mixed them together, and painted his car. He said the result was "a kind of purplish brown"

Coming back and rewatching this... While I know it was super expensive, I do wonder what mixing just the cool colors for one batch/car, the metallics for a second batch (because the gold kinda overpowered everything), and the warm colors for a third would look
Especially because the first 3 colors before the gold looked amazing

Like... as a color itself, it's not an ugly color. I just think there might be a better way to achieve that color combination than mixing a bunch of HyperShifts together.

Generally, when you mix all the paint colors together, you get a brown, as well, but it’s quite lovely how the pearls add so much dimension & tone to this color. Interesting, too, how they sort of counteract one another to make the hypershift effect more subtle.. Really beautiful work, as always. ❤️

Well if you know anything about mixing all the colors you get a muddy brown we call it mud water in our art class. This is the most beautiful mud water I’ve ever seen.

At one point in mixing, it was an amazing rose gold. The final color is beyond words.
I honestly love this color it is amazing! It's like a really mate yet shiny bronzish color, or like shiny mocha or something like that but all I know is I am LOVING that color and the colorshift to it!!

The pouring of the colour (6:56) has such a beautiful laminar flow to it. I rewatched that part several times.
Not usually much a fan of brown as an accessory color, but this is incredibly elegant.

When you mix all the colors together, you just get brown. It doesn’t matter if it’s watercolor or fancy car dip.

Another understated yet sophisticated look. I would have liked to see it pop a little more, but, this came out very... ah, "stealthy".
Personally, I love it! This muddy-purple actually feels very elegant and suits really this particular car. It's very sophisticated.
That's a really lovely rose bronze. One of my favorite things with the mixed colors is the iridescence. You can still see the blues in the shadow, the purples in the forefront, and the golds and greens in the highlights.
You couldnt have picked a better car for that color. the mustang matches it so well. I have no words to describe the color, it's so unique.

@Rishabh Saini between 2500 and 3000 USD maybe? Not sure, just guessing from the info on the web site. Think it would also depend a lot on what your base is, size of vehicle, if you have a sprayer, etc.

the mixing process looked like opening a portal to another dimension but after the first three collours its just an amorfous blob of grey but on the car it screams "luxurious"

i was wondering like when you do these types of mixing if u can have one side of the car base coat black and the other base coat white so we can see the difference with the different bases

This is absolutely stunning. I never thought I would love a bronze vehicle, but this changed my mind. Im sorry it is so expensive to pull off but man... was she worth it.

You know... This actually is sorta nice. It's a very nice tarnished brass from a distance, the shift is really subtle. Then you get closer and it's... an uncanny colour with interesting highlights. I like this.
I knew it would come out brown the moment he started laying the colors down- but I didn't expect such a great color... these pearls seem really well suited to mixing to me.

Tropical Bronze. Looks like a gorgeous 70’s tan! I quite dig that! I think that when you put that one with the gold in, about the third bag I think, it negated so much of the other colours, that it was just fighting to get back to juiciness the whole rest of the time, and it never made it. I think if you ever did this again, just leave out that one, and you could come out with something super slick.
But this isn’t a fail for sure! Very new and interesting result!

That is the most insane thing I've ever seen somebody do. Not just insane, but reckless. The end result was okay, but I definitely saw some really nice pearls going to that mix.
Everytime I see a "mixing EVERY color of ___ together!" video I just have to sigh. Brown, y'all. It's always going to be brown. In this case a very sparkly, shimmery brown, but brown nonetheless.
They did all aluminum pearls once and got a gorgeous rose gold out of it
For me this color is like taking a drink of something bitter with a sweet aftertaste so you don't really like it but you keep taking another drink anyways.

I’ve been an artist for decades. Traditionally, when you mix all of those colors together, you become a “mud mixer.” But, since I don’t know how the hypershift actually works, I was hoping that something really cool would happen, anyway. Nope. Still mud mixing (brown). Although a pretty type of brown, still brown. 😉🤣
The color is actually pretty stunning. I figured it would be a little more neutral, I didn’t pay close enough attention to the colors of the packets but it stands to reason that blues and reds are more desirable than yellows and greens, thus the love dusty mauve. I also didn’t think there’d be as much shift as there is.
Am a painter; knew exactly what this was going to look like. This is dope actually.

I actually like this colour, even before you get close enough to see the shift. But when you get close enough to see the pearls, well, it’s beautiful.

Mixing colors like that almost always results in a brown or black color but the depth is AMAZING.

Adding the gold last or not at all would have been a color to see. That gold dominated all the other colors even with 12 colors after it.

Ok but I actually kind of like it. It's really gentle but very unique. Suits the car you used really well too. It may not make a bunch of crazy shifts but the subtleties are interesting.

@@YoungSperm Colour is subjective, and I wouldn't want the blend I said on a full car, but wheels, or stripes, or other feature item against a black car would work well

Definitely a unique color. I like it. Almost like root beer meets grape soda. Matte black stripes might set it off a bit more.
