- Student ballerinas will be trying to survive extreme flexibility training right now! Can they survive this training?
Thanks a lot to Russian Masters Ballet and Asia Lukmanova for the opportunity to give the master class and spend this wonderful time with students! russianmastersballet.com/
You will definitely be shocked when you see the exercises from this workout! How can they be repeated? However, there are exercises that are useful for every ballerina to do! But what are these exercises, and how exactly do they develop flexibility? Be sure to watch this video from start to finish to find out how many exercises from this extreme workout you can repeat, how they develop flexibility, and whether professional ballerinas can pass this workout!

Pointe shoes and ballet shoes from the wonderful Bloch.
These videos would not have been possible without the great company Nike, whose clothes and sneakers I do all my workouts in.

I'm not a dancer, but love ballet. I watch Maria's videos for all the information I learn about ballet. This video makes me realize that ballerinas may look fragile and delicate, but they are very strong. Maria is probably stronger than lots of people that go to the gym every day, many of whom could not do these exercises.
I’m 54 years old with advancing arthritis and gout and I’m going to be doing some of these exercises to strengthen my feet, legs and core.
Maria I think you are a wonderful teacher, you are motivating your students very well. You don't make anyone feel bad ...❤️
Wow!! This reminded me when I used to do gymnastics…the discipline and dedication, I love it!!
This warm up would have exhausted me. And you still have an entire day of practice to come.
I miss ballet very much. However I don't miss these types of exercises at all! 😆
Wow this looks like a great (hard!) workout. Will definitely try this week.
Oh, dear Maria! I was missing so much your workouts! Thank you a lot for this class! AMAZING moments and exercises! A big big hug from Brazil!!!!
She's a really good teacher
Thank you for this video which demonstrtes that there's a reason why eastern countries produce the majority of great ballet dancers. If I was a ballet student I would have been thrilled with your training program!
Thank you so much to share this whole training muscles exercise, I follow along the clip help me a lot. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Maria you are my soul sister ! I love your power, presence and purposeful sharing of ballet info! Thank you

I love everything you do, Maria!
The best teacher I have ever seen!!.. beautiful!!.. 😍
Hey, I'm Constantine Yassin, a student at ABT. I absolutely love your content and am so jealous of these students! I hope you might visit New York City soon, it would be a dream. Thank you so much!
I’m jealous of you 😭😭 I want to go to abt to train
Love your videos!❤🙏🏼
I like your class very much. Well done!
I love these training videos. 👍👏😊❤💖🤩
You are so so amazing! i hope that one day, you tour teaching, and I can take a class from you!

Súper entrenamiento
Да, хорошая тренировка, опредлённо.
Машенька! Это потрясающееся видео! Вы прекрасна!!! (Я недавно писала Вам в Инстаграм, буду рада, если посмотрите)❤️❤️❤️
workout starts 1:32 (for my own reference)
I felt like I am in a real dance class😊
Dear Masha, you have a great and creative channel. I just cannot imagine how you find time for all everithing you do, and do on a such great level.
Please tell some day how you mastered your English so well.
Ottimi esércizi ❤🎉
I bet most of them couldn't walk the next day! Great exercises! Thank you
I would be "dead" at minute 10..... Gosh! And Maria is speaking during the whole thing without any stress, not even voice trembling...
So many have such bad form! Why no corrections?
What is crazy that this difficult workout is for beginners ballerinas like whatttt
That’s the part that really floored me! Even the first exercise when she instructs the students to lift their heels off the floor 😅 ummmm, excuse me lol?!? Mine are like 2 inches off the floor🙆🏽♂️with maximum effort and my kneecaps feel as if they might detach 😅 most beginners(unless born with hyperextension) cannot do that.
Такое ощущение, что они пожалели, что пришли (ожидали другое) 😅
Когда мы вас увидим в Мариинском?
Very impressive functional strength paired with inhuman flexibility. I'll delete my play list of workout videos after seeing this 40 kg girl show more core strength than all those crossfit guys
Were the cross fit guys training rigorously since they were 4?
Maria you are having stunning ballerina feet! I know you already made a video about feet exercises in the past, but it will be amazing if you can make a video about segrets for having a beautiful ballerina feet, just like yours, and maybe also say what are the commons mistake that a ballerina can make whit her feet, if possible also to show some important exercises also to do consistently every day to improve!
Thank you so so much ❤
Could you post it as a workout video plssss? with a timer and music
I’m getting tired just watching this 😂
👍👍👍

Why you did not stand up and help them?
Maria’s American English is amazing. Does she has an English specking parents? She may have a great carrier in ABT , but may loose her quality as a ballet dancer, because classical ballet is dying unfortunately in America.
She's a member of the Mariinsky Theater, not ABT.
Yes her mother is an english teacher (of what I've heard). And right she dances in Russia at Mariinsky and this is a class she gived this summer in Alicante (Spain).
Comparing mariinsky to abt???
You're a cutie.
Wait the thing on the thumbnail, that isnt hard- its a leg extension i could do that at age 7
Do you want a fucking cookie?

Hunh. Congratulations Maria! And dancers! You’re in a Bradley Cooper movie. Too bad he’s such a crappy director.
did anyone notice that the girl sitting to the left of here in the front looks like bella hadid? she’s so pretty! anyways, i loved this vid maria! you inspire me so much. i’ll try this class once i have some free time! 🫶🏼
Which one?
Yes, I was watching here a lot. She's very strong & elegant.
Hips need to be kept square, not rotated open or lifted.
Did anyone in this video do it wrongly? Could you provide a time stamp? Sorry, just wondering. Thank you.
she explained in another video that like many dancers, she doesn't freeze her body in strict and square positions in order to improve the aesthetics of the body lines. And not keeping the hips square allows to stretch the body better, so perfect for the warm up
Waoo It is a very hard job and it seems very simple for Miss Khoreva, that is why she is a star of the Russian Ballet
Poor me, I did the class and I was left in pieces
Going to give this a try 💗🩰💗
