I love watching classes in Russian. Even i don't know Russian. I can understand ballet in Russian. 😅 It would be great to listen your Russian more clearly. Maybe with subtitles in English? Probably it would take lots of time. Despite your busy schedule thank you for uploading videos.

i see no anger but passionate teacher who is very clear what she wants to see. i teach ballet as well, and when you're guest teacher just for one class you just see so many things these dancers can work on and it's kinda sad you only see them for one class. also what you explain about Vaganova method is fascinating.

As a ballet teacher, I love the Vaganova technique. Being able to watch and learn by observing classes you teach, is a joy especially when you translate in English. Please post more videos like this and thank you so much for your hard work.

Thank you so much for doing all this hard work to translate the class for us! It is extremely instructive to see what you focus on in the combinations and your corrections and what you point out as most important in this class. I love this format and hope you may find time to do it again.

I appreciate this video so much! What a blessing and privilege to be able to get a glimpse into such classes. I did ballet when I was younger in Paris. I am not a ballet dancer but as a philosophy PhD student I am incredibly inspired by the artistry of ballet! So much appreciation to you for making this available to us. 🙏

So much to learn. Regarding musicality and artistry, the levels of dexterity and strength required to correctly execute and move through the poses might be better matched by less complicated pieces on the piano in the future, ie less of the flourishes, which have the effect of pitting accuracy against timing. Lovely to listen to, however. And the girls/ladies managed to maintain best pose throughout. Masterclass!

angry russian dance teacher? you forgot the scarf, the babuska and the cane for keeping time and keeping students in line :} just kidding I hope you dont get too harsh with your students, I heard the vagonava method can have very harsh hands on teachers though that would get very forceful and smack legs if they were not straight and forcing extentions and the like, as well as yelling like a millitary drill instructor. I know it gets results though by the result of russian training textbook form and all.
