Hello, Nerd! Josh, I must say, you are without doubt the best RV reviewer on the planet. You are thorough, you help us picture being in each RV, sense of humor and you show the good with the not-so-good. Thank you for all you do! 🙏🏼
Hey Uncle Josh,I hope you're having a great day! I hope Carlos is doing better, an we are still praying that Carlos is getting better. I know how you feel Carlos is your little buddy an he is family! I love this Jayco North Point. They have really out done their selfs
I have a Jayco Eagle HT which has a 6 gal water heater. I have never run out of hot water, so 12 gal would be more than adequate. I wouldn’t want tankless as I boondocks and recovery for hot water to the shower takes too long
I've been looking at this model for some time for a future purchase for my wife, son and I for some extended living and travel work. I'm not super excited about mid bunks but I go nuts for the wrap around windows in the rear living. Thanks for the hard work Josh.
Water heaters really still seem to be some thing with very split preferences from customers. A lot of of these bigger fifth wheels have stuck with the two ways, but it does feel like it’s slowly changing.
It's not impossible but MFGs never seem to do stuff like that "because someone could break it and blame us" -- that's the reasoning I always get. While there may be a measure of truth to that I suspect it's because they just don't want to
Wouldn't THIS be fun!? Beautiful camper that perhaps once day would like to see/visit, but sadly, in all likeliness, will never own. Thanks for this review, Josh.😃 I hope your pup is doing better and you, too.
The new NOT greasy looking farmhouse decor looks awesome👍and if you only park camp, why wouldn’t you want the option of an electric hot water heater instead of an on demand propane heater that uses a lot of propane and requires frequent refilling😮
Love this one but the dishwasher should be off to one side as it would be awkward to load it right under the sink. You have to stand off to the side to load it. I would also put a pocket door in place of the sliding door on the bunk room as it takes up useable space in the kitchen.
@@JoshtheRVNerd If I had to accommodate my daughter, her two kids and also my son and his girl friend then the kids can go up in the loft. apart from that... I have no use for a 'loft' at all.
This might be a dumb question: the doors with the built-in privacy shades, how do you get to the privacy shades with the screen door blocking them? At least that’s how it looks in the video. I’ve seen countless videos where you talk about that, but I can figure out how to adjust that privacy shade.
@@JoshtheRVNerd okay, that’s what figured but I wasn’t sure. Thank you. Knowing that, with me being vertically challenged, I know what my preference is: opening from the bottom up. Because otherwise, I’d have to lower it so much there wouldn’t be much of s point to having one. 😂
Raised toe smasher slide is not an issue for me. As long as the sofa/dinette slide is flush, no problem. Every time I was about to pop a question in the comment, you answered it before I could. It was dishwasher and 3rd AC prep!😂 The loft in our mid bunk is 99% of the time for storage. The ladder rungs SHOULD be flat on all these style of units. Those round ones will destroy your feet!! Great review as always. I’ll have to put this one in contention for when we decide on our new one later this year. I can say that it is the only one I have seen, that in my mind competes with the Brinkley Z 3610. Thank you for what you do my brother!!!
I would prefer the tankless. It’s what we have now, and once you get used to how to use them, they are great!!! This is not really a boondocking unit in my opinio.
On demand water heaters really don’t burn much. Only a pilot light most of the time. Doesn’t really flame up until use It’s not nothing but it’s like like the furnace eating LP
Great presentation Josh! One thing though you shouldn't tell people to cover the heat vents with a rug. All heaters have a safety feature shut off when the back flow reaches a certain temperature. It's the number 1 cause of the heater shutting off. Most people don't know that. It's the first thing I ask when they call me
I love this floorplan! It just has so much. I don't like the floor vents but this is so nice I'd overlook them! Does the table food down flat to the wall of would you have to remove it if you wanted to use the space at all. I wouldn't remove it, as I'd use it, it's just a random thought. How's Carlos doing Josh? You're all in my thoughts, it's rotten to have one of the family sick 😕
*FLOOR VENTS:* Here's a swanky model with a similar layout without floor vents! ruclips.net/video/2ir10ZnGH40/видео.html *TABLE:* Does not fold down. That would be amazing. *PUPDATE:* The positive vibes people are sending may just be having an affect.. either that or the meds he's on ACTUALLY have us on the right track. Yesterday was the first time both my wife and felt like his symptoms were actually a LITTLE better which is kind of exciting really
@@JoshtheRVNerd thank you so much for the reply Josh, I’ll have a look at the other one when I get home. I’m so pleased there’s an improvement with Carlos, we’re all still sending positive vibes, it’s so worrying and scary when your pup isn’t themselves.
I love to cook and the toe stubber isn't optimal. But with that being said I prefer not to cook inside the camper. Its a mental thing at home I cook all the time but for whatever reason when camping I would rather cook in an out door kitchen.
I love this RV. Does this have all Hardwood cabinets like the pinnacle does? Is there a big fan in the bathroom or a small fan fan in the bathroom? Thanks for the great video with Josh.
👍🏻 So we are considering a Bish’s exclusive laminated camper series. I made my list of nerdy recommendations #1.) ALWAYS have a way to remove the theater seat arm rest for cuddle compliance
I liked this model. I love the bunkroom disappointed in the bedroom. There is no option to get a queen size bed to have end tables on both sides of the bed only downfall besides the on-demand heater.
no questions about it , Jayco did it right. It hurts to see water going down to drain, waiting for that hot water, after you spend all that fuel to towi it about. I dont like public bathrooms
LOVE Northpoint! I think they are gorgeous! But that toe-stubber is a deal breaker for me. Why Jayco? Why???? My last 5th wheel had one in the kitchen and I'm just too much of a klutz lol they don't call 'em toe stubbers for nothing! Northpoint does check almost all the boxes for me. I love the towing safety options and Dexter Tow Assist.... maybe I just need steel toe slippers 🤔 Thanks Mr. RV Nerd!
The door window shade direction is, in my opinion, irrelevant since you can't actually access it from inside the camper with the door closed. It's a nice concept, but nobody really thought about how someone would go about opening or closing the shade.
I’ve definitely talked about it before in a few of my videos. Typically once people get it adjusted, they do tend to leave it alone. But I do think bottom up allows you more generalized privacy will still be able to peek outside easily.
As a person who will probably have to work when I start RVing, i like the idea of a middle room. But I'm always disappointed by the layout. Not so much this particular layout but just all of them. While this floor plan it's very nice and the living space is Exceptional, I think there's better use of the extra length. You need for a metal room. Not to mention in my case it's still not a lot of big people sleeping space.
@@JoshtheRVNerd so took me a few days to think on this question. I think my answer would be murphy bed in the slide of the mid bunk. Take out the couch and the flip down bunk and put in a murphy bed or use the couch thing from the murphy bed setups. that way you get a "big" bed. Granted that's probably an edge case (like me) but i think that would be a great fix. I could have an office and a place to sleep. Also, i know there are other options. And there are maybe better loft options for me as well, still army crawling into bed isn't ideal.
It would be a nice space for an office, but the TV is too high to use as a monitor. It would be nice if it had the capability to be lowered. It would also be nice if the desktop was a little deeper to give more working space.
I HATE lofts in campers!! It's a waste of space, in my opinion. I'm on the tall side, so without the loft, you get a taller shower, which makes more sense to me.
lol Erin knows me well by this point. There are benefits and drawbacks to any system certainly. Here's a swanky mid-bunk without floor vents for you to enjoy :) ► Brinkley Model Z 3610: ruclips.net/video/2ir10ZnGH40/видео.html
All of the quality standard features as equipped like a ladder, solar, a porcelain toilet, a shower door, a TV, a “theater seating and table and chairs option” and a true queen bed that EVERY JAYCO SHOULD💥💥💥but unfortunately doesn’t have😢
Nice luxury ❤❤. This one would have been in competition for the one we ended up getting. Floor heating is great. Heats up fast when you need it. We do prefer tankless water heater. Love the bonus room! Well designed bedroom. Anyone who is going to do some full timing would be comfortable in this baby. ❤ Thanks Josh!
We bought a 2023 FR Sandpiper Luxury 38FKOK. I love the big front kitchen. Hubby loves his nice outdoor kitchen. Been in this beauty for over 1 year with only a few small issues promptly addressed by a mobile tech under warranty. Happy campers!💗💗😁
This is my favorite rig! If i could get this in a motorhome I'd be quite pleased.
Hmm... I like the idea but trying to figure out how that may work. This is just a lot of space to cover while also including a driver's cabin

My pleasure!
There are other family models with camp side windows but they often lack the 3-piece seating setup of mid bunks
Very nice looking RV! I love it!!!😊
Awesome tY!
I really really wish it had a on demand water heater, otherwise it's as close to perfect as you could get.
Water heaters really still seem to be some thing with very split preferences from customers. A lot of of these bigger fifth wheels have stuck with the two ways, but it does feel like it’s slowly changing.
I like it but there is no place for dishes and cups.
What about a full tilt and pull wall mount when the TV is fully up.?

Electric/gas 12 gallon water heaters are hard to beat. We never run enough hot to run out. Also, why do I want to burn unnecessary propane?
