Every new paradigm you show, makes me want one even more. This floor plan is excellent.
It definitely needs more outlets in the livingroom. I love to stretch out in the evenings while hubby watches sports 😂 gotta have a way to charge my phone while I'm surfing the interwebs 😂

I think that this floorplan is the one! I almost purchased a 2023 370FB as I wanted the full size sofa to layout on, but this layout is a game changer for me! And the additional of the hutch and half wall between the kitchen and living room is awesome. Definitely would like some outlets in the living space, and some cup holders would be nice. I think that a small window in the bathroom would be awesome. I know that this RV has tons of windows already, but I always like natural light in the bathroom!
And Josh....I have been watching you on RUclips for many years.....and you are the BEST. Thanks for all you do! Very thorough, and the Road Mode addition is a very welcome addition to your reviews!

I love the large sectional couch, but I wish there were cup holders somewhere. If my drink is on the floor, I guarantee that I will spill it. The TV and entertainment area is really nice, and I like how Alliance puts in smaller bathrooms and larger entertainment and kitchen areas. Thank you for taking the time to review this unit. Your videos are the best.

I LOVE this layout. The TV being on the rear wall, and having that sofa space everywhere is just so comfortable and relaxing. Really nice. If I could change a couple of things: 1: I would replace the loveseat to the left of the TV for a desk. It would work there nicely. 2: Alliance should ditch that Furrion soundbar and install a nicer unit. Because the Furrion is cut into the wall, I couldn’t upgrade it in a clean way. This level of luxury deserves Dolby Atmos sound. PS: ouch that hitch weight!

I really love this floorplan, but the decor is horrible (specifically the trim). Would really love to see more of the cabinetry and trim painted. The cable driven slides have to go! and please fix the trim (more minimalism) in this unit. I really like the extra sleeper sofa in the living room, but wish there were more of a counter/bar style eating area! That would double nicely as a work space and would allow for a nice out of the way spot for a dog water dish. I really do wish that they had found a way to incorporate an entry closet though! One last thing - the bathroom is terrific with the exception of the gap above the door, a nice BIG sink, a backsplash and a much bigger mirror behind the sink!

  • @billedgin2496
    @billedgin2496 5 месяцев назад +1

This is a beautiful trailer. I actually like that rear awning more than when they're sticking off the slide outs. Those tend to take up so much space that in some campgrounds they're totally useless. Most of my outdoor relaxing time is going to be spent under that front awning anyhow. The rear awning mainly shields the RV windows.
I saw on Brinkley's site their new G model coming. I think it was the 3950, which also has an L-shaped sofa. I like the idea of having a useful large living room with that setup. Good TV viewing for a couple, but plenty of comfortable seating for guests. I was curious how well that would work with slides. Paradigm proves it works!

Love the steel ladder from the All access, much better than the flimsy aluminum ladder. Also love the revised and separate storage compartments in the front. Was unclear if the floor was Azdel. If the ceiling panels were Azdel , that would be outstanding as these panels are glued to the rafters. Heaven forbid you a a seal leak on the roof and damage a luan ceiling panel. Also, adding another 6-8 inches to the back would greatly improve the depth of the storage around the entertainment center. Would also like to see a shelf above the TV for a blue ray player, Xbox, or decorations

This is a fantastic RV! We like the awning as it is because it would also help reduce glare on the windows and prevent being blinded by the sun when it's at the wrong angle. That sectional couch is the real MVP though, a true winner! The only thing we'd change would be a faux brick facing around the fireplace instead of that formica look. Outlets around the couches would also be a good add. But yeah, well worth the 20 cents they're asking for it. Thanks for sharing this video with us, Uncle Josh!

I like the second awning over the 2 slides, but I see a potential problem. It appeared that the awning arms were in the full extended position. It looked like the awning was contacting the top of the rearmost slied. any little breeze will cause the awning to move and potentially cause a tear. It also eliminates the ability to pitch the awning down on one side for rainy day protection.
Love the floorplan, now I just need to win Powerball to afford the dually to pull it with. :)

Hi Josh, I was just at the Indianapolis RV show this past Saturday, got a chance to see the Montana 3531RE which is Keystones version of this unit. Highly disappointed, the large couch was hard as a rock, looks like they used the same couch they use in the Cougar model, unusual for Montana. Also, the theater seats, they were not powered, no heat or massage mode, and didn’t recline very far. I have to say Montana missed the mark on this one, many others walking through said the same thing. Looks like the Paradigm is much the same, to bad. Maybe these things will be corrected in future units, for now we’re interested in the Paradigm 310RL.

For the door on the backside? Where you spoke of options to secure the door- a vertical hinge so that it folds open onto the door that flips up-(make it all one door where you fold open left to right, and THEN flip up) and the folded open part flips up with the other part to be secured against the camper? As for the “hole” beside the toilet there could be a “sideways” window shade that rolls closed (or a closet door type track that a door rolls open around to the back side) or simply insert wicker basket of 🧻/feminine supplies? Or a “lipped” lazy Susan of phone chargers battery packs /tp/wipes/etc)

The space that the rv provides in the bathroom and bedroom is exactly what I’m looking for. However, I think the space being used in the kitchen/living space could be better organized.
    1. I would get rid of the slide with the dining table and the island to allow space to convert the partition separating the kitchen/living space to a fully functional peninsula. It will make the space around the stove a little tight, but it would still be comfortable enough to work in. A corner cooktop could be a possibility in the peninsula. This would also Free up the kitchen during travel.
    2. I would remove the reclining love seat from the partition to make room for dining.
    3. With the floor space freed up, I would move the opposing sofa slides closer to the kitchen to allow space for bunks behind the entertainment center/fireplace. It won’t take much to put the tv on an arm so it can face one of the sofas.
    3. I would also add fold-away trays to the sides of the sofas for additional dining space in the main living area.
I always love the hydraulic leveling and physical switches. There is a lot of storage still available in the underbelly and under the bed.
Like I said, the 40 ft length is wonderful and the bed/bath layout is perfect. It’s just the kitchen/living space and lack of bunks that wouldn’t work for my family.

Very nice! The awnings are fine as is. I would move the ladder to the over to uncover the tail light. I would change the cargo area flooring to something rubberized on not just the floor but the walls. It is one thing to put that type on the floor but if the floor is wet you know the walls will also have some moristure. I like the size and layout of the bathroom and bedroom. I would change the shelf to something that will hold a CPAP machine and make sure that there is a plug for one. I'm not a fan of the L couch. That corner seat is usless, take it out and put a small end table with electrical outlets. I think they did a great job with the TV and fireplace area, rught height for the TV. Dining table is great, everyone should go to that style of table and get over the rid of the knee killers! Nice job.

Another great video showing pros and cons. I agree with a desk facing the camp side instead of the second pull out sofa. Love the washroom with a great open space for a trash can, would love a magnetic tp holder like other brands are using. @JoshtheRVNerd  5 месяцев назад

Magnetic TP holder stands are awesomesauce for sure! You'll be able to see the cables on the cable slides. The non-cable lower decks would be rack and pinion
I am not sure which variety they're using but I think it might be accu slide. I could be mistaken. Sometimes little things like that change and I don't get advised

  • @cindyonyoutube

Another great video, Josh! I like this layout a lot, especially the ample counter space in the kitchen. Having those 2 slides (1 for the kitchen table & the other for the LR loveseat) does feel a little bit choppy to me, though. I might prefer 1 superslide.
The lack of electrical/charging outlets by the couches definitely needs to be addressed, as you mentioned.
I think the living room TV should be mounted so that it can swivel.
If this were my rig, I'd delete the loveseat & put in a desk, as we just don't need that much seating & a desk would be way more useful.
The bathroom & bedroom look very nice, the big shower is awesome! Overall, a very cool rig!

Absolutely wonderful floor plan. I tend to agree with the lack of power outlets around the secondary seating in the living room.
I honestly think that Alliance could save themselves (and hopefully pass to the consumer) a good chunk of money and simply leave that second awning out. Those two slides are too close together to use the space in between, and there isn’t enough awning space outside of the slides to be worth anything in the rain. My wife and I’s camper is similarly sized, and only has a single awning forward of the camp side slide out, which is perfectly useful for everything anyone needs for outdoor space.
Just leave the second awning off.

I like this layout, and I would agree with putting some plugs by the couch I do like the low-tech remote control for the slides, awning, etc the BMPRO Command that you can download on the phone, I hate it with a passion, we went on a almost two months trip and man it was a nightmare. The wife was trying to use it for the inside and I was trying to use it for the outside and when she couldn't work it because I was using it, it almost caused an argument, I was about to rip it out of the wall just give me something simple but that's just me. I still and want to get there front living 5th wheel. It don't look like that there is too much room at the foot of the bed those.

While there are some calcs that can give you an idea of wheelbase vs handling I can't offer great insights without more info on the truck as well as where you plan to take it. It's not a question that has a direct "here's the answer."

Since it's an early prototype I got an idea! What if there was a hot/cold utility shower in the gap of the two camp side slides!? Then you could have little mounts to hold a curtain on the slides and setup a camp side outdoor shower! Would be great for seasonal site use and beach camping!

I don’t like the 2 slides on the camp side. I don’t understand, even from the inside showing, why they don’t just do a super slide? Unless it is a structural issue, why not just make it larger? Cool floor plan though. I have been doing this long enough to know you never get everything!😂. Great review as always Josh, thank you sir.

Strange material on the wall behind the TV, looks like the shower walls. I would go with a shiplap or bead board look. Needs outlets and cup holders in the living space. Not sure about the 2nd awning, but I guess we could just not use it. Otherwise, love it!

  • @jetdriver
    @jetdriver 5 месяцев назад

I really like what they have done here. Totally agree that they need to add a bunch of plugs in the back of the RV.
I wonder why not just make the rear pax side slides a single unit? You’d get extra space in the wall section that would now slide out that has a lot of possibilities and then you could have a slide mounted awning. Plus you’d have one slide instead of two which also has advantages.
I’d also argue that with some units they just need to embrace the weight. Accept that you’re making a bigger heavier unit that is going to require a bigger heavier more capable tow vehicle. Then you don’t have to do things like artificially restricting the GVWR and cutting the cargo capacity trying to squeeze it into the 3/4 ton market.

I really like this one. Three things I don't like are the boxes coming down along the windows by the bed, the mirrors on the closet doors and the slab above the tv. I would rather have a smooth wall by the window, seeing mirrors on the whole closet is not a good look (maybe put it on the back of the main bedroom door) and it would look nicer to have shelving above the tv.

Missed opportunity IMO, make the dining table and sofa side into a "super slide" and possibly put in a desk area there where the slides don't exist, opens up the sofa area to not seem so claustrophobic and gives more room at the dining table for those of us on the fluffier side. Plus also gives a desk area to those that work remotely without compromising the dining table.

Josh I am writing this based on my opinions and my opinions only. I have on intention of bashing Alliance or the Paradigm brand. That being said, I compliment the alliance team for trying to present new and innovative products. That being said, I feel that the manufacturers are trying to fit more and more and the outcome is a series of compromises. The dining table and the slide it is in looks too small to use and the L shape couch/love seat is crammed together. I would prefer a spacious trailer built for two, not meant to entertain 4-6 people. Just my opinions.

Tv over the window in bedroom is not desirable. Ours had the narrow windows on either side of dresser which I personally prefer.
I am glad they don’t Bluetooth this unit. I’m not a fan. I like to just push a button and not struggle with tech. I want to run away from tech.
As a couple I wish you could opt to have an eat up bar instead of sofa against kitchen and ditch one slide with the extra sofa. So basically one sofa. I’d also rather have a desk with under neath cabinets in the dining slide.
    This is a beautiful unit.
That would be a perfect unit for our specific needs and lighten it up.

Okay, I have to comment. I usually enjoy your videos, but really? Old people are the reason why Alliance doesn't put silly extravagant, expensive and unnecessary touch screen systems in their rigs?
How about making things simple and reliable? Why do I want to go through 5 menus to turn lights on or put slides out? How much will it cost to replace in 4 years when the system goes down is obsolete and no longer available? Think how often cell phones and tablets go obsolete and how much they cost. Switches are cheap and easy to replace. It's an RV -- what next, an automatic campfire builder?
This is a reliability and maintainability issue and nothing to do with age.
