    I love the trailer and the rear patio. My only concern is the placement of the rear patio steps. Since the trailer itself is already so long, with the patio down makes it even longer at the campsite. Then you have the steps facing the rear of the patio requiring even more space behind the trailer. I'm thinking maybe it would be better if the steps are shifted 90 ° towards the camp side instead of the rear of the trailer to cut down on the space needed and also easier on and off the patio from camp.

    I love the back deck and standing applause for the build quality. That bathroom, chef kiss. Zero-100 rating, golf clap. I want ABS; everyone should be phasing this into their product lines.
    The weight of this is too much for my 2500, but it's still a great-looking unit. Truly the Bentley of RVs

    This is possibly the best RV I've ever seen. I really wish I had the money to buy it and something that can tow it. Brinkley did so much right here nitpicking things I'd change feels petty. My only serious complaint is the patio fridge not being 12 volt. Being able to put the patio steps on the camp side might be a useful feature, too, depending on how the site is set up. The rear might be overhanging something you don't want to step into.
    The patio is awesome, and I prefer this party set up to a toy hauler. I tend to get rained on a lot when I camp, so being able to be outside and dry is great. The outside speakers are really well done, both on the patio and underbelly. They're out of the weather and adjustable right where they are. The option to put a TV on the camp side is nice if you've got a gameday party around a campfire or need more room than the patio can hold. Propane hookups at either end is a nice touch.
    Basement is massive, and the easy access to the guts of the RV is great. The space for bigger propane tanks the generator prep is much appreciated, as is the headroom and lights above the utility hookups.
    I was a little confused seeing that cargo door, but as Josh explained it makes a lot of sense, especially if still in road mode.
    Moving on to the interior, I can't say enough good things about that sliding desk/table. Whoever came up with it is a genius and needs to get paid more. I'd probably upgrade to a nice office chair or two and use the higher portion for laptop/computer and a MFC, then use the slideout part for meals. I could easily see a couple with Starlink working from home in this. This is certainly full time livable.
    The theater seating right across from the fireplace and TV is awesome, especially with the TV at the proper height. The wireless charging pad is great because much of the time people don't have a cord on them, although that armrest storage is perfect for cords. With the ports inside it, I don't know why you'd bother putting the additional ones in the outside of the seats. The hide-a-bed sofa is great for guests or kids to sleep on, although the recliners look comfortable enough to crash on.
    The kitchen is awesome with tons of counterspace. The storage is unbelievable, especially that pantry. The bigger oven is perfect for when you need to make tendies for everybody. The second trash can is perfect to throw empties in. The toe room around the island is nice.
    I prefer blackout shades that slide from below, as you can lift them part way to make it harder to see into the RV while still seeing out.
    The coat closet right by the door is something more RVs need. I love it. No complaints about the bathroom, except I wonder if the shelf under the sink can be removed to put a trash can there instead. Shower headroom and lighting are perfect.
    In the bedroom, personally I prefer the queen with side tables option. Storage and washer/dryer prep is excellent. Brinkley actually making the bed useable in road mode puts them head and shoulders above other makers. Speaking of road mode, the most important thing for me is bathroom access. Being able to use the bed is nice, too, and anything else is pure gravy.
    Overall, I give this a 10 outta 10. Maybe a few years down the line I'll be able to afford a used one.

      😊 wow. Ty for all of this!!

  • @Slackware1995
    @Slackware1995 3 месяца назад +1

    A few changes.
    1. Option for no "wet bar". This would leave a tiny garage that could hold a motorcycle, or 2-3 ebikes, or a mobility scooter, or kids toys.
    2. Make the "cargo door" taller to make it easier to walk into or put items in the garage.
    3. Option for a slide out ramp or stairs for the cargo door. Ramp if you want to put motorcycle, ebikes or mobility scooter. Stairs if you want easier access to the kitchen area in travel mode. I'm sure that a system could be designed for both stairs and slideout ramp.
    The stairs would also allow access if the campsite is too short to drop the patio. A great safety feature.
    Also the island should not block the sight lines from theater seats to TV.
    And the extra couch should be an option. Without the couch you could then walk into the kitchen in travel mode. Part of the reclaimed space could be a coffee station.

It’s great for being able to move in and out of the bathroom while getting ready and not having to go down the hall to get there and worry about visitors or guests. It’s also super useful at night to use the bathroom and not disturb guests (I know, probably not often) or pets that don’t sleep in the bedroom with you. On the back patio fridge, I would suggest moving the fridge to the open end of the counter assembly. And then either putting the door side to the hallway or finding a way to be able to pivot the fridge, so the fridge can be loaded up with supplies with the patio door closed. As it is now, the rear patio fridge is completely blocked when the patio door is closed.

    I absolutely love what Brinkley is doing and plan to buy one in the next year. What I would love to see as a enhanced safety feature is to have the upper inset lights in the front cap to double as turn signals along with high mounted turn/brake lights so if a taller vehicle is behind the camper, the second vehicle (two behind the RV) can see the tail, turn or brake lights as soon as they are signaled. I wish all tall trailers like RV's and tractor trailers had high mounted turn/brakes lights for this reason.

    Couple things I see. The patio fridge should be on the end facing the hall so you can access it when the patio is closed and don’t need to go outside at night or raining etc… All bathrooms should be one entrance! That door to the bedroom is pointless and allows smells ya don’t want wafting into the bedroom. The fridge got to go! Side by side fridges are so not user friendly. They need French door with bottom freezer.

    Is Brinkley using the same chassis manufacture on there units as all the rest? I.E. Lippert, the one who seems to have a lot of frame flex issues with a bunch of manufactures. And if so what have you had LIPPERT do to your frames to insure the same does not happen to yours?

    • @BrinkleyRV
      @BrinkleyRV 8 месяцев назад +4

      Lippert is the manufacturer of our frames. We are the ones that design our chassis to make sure they are more than capable of what we are going to put on them, and then Lippert builds them to our specs instead of off-the-shelf chassis.

    I wish Brinkley would offer a mini split system in place of the rooftop AC units. I realize that this would take away a portion of one of the storage compartments, but it would be a good sacrifice. Not only would it remove multiple rooftop obstructions and penetration points, but also allow more room for solar panels. In addition, mini splits are much more efficient and extremely quiet.
    New Horizons offers this as an option. I wish more manufacturers would as well.

    Something to think about regarding the main living area windows. If you do most of your camping at campgrounds, the side of this camper with all the big windows would be the side that looks out over your hookups and directly onto your neighbor’s set up. The small windows on the opposite side, even with the tv down, would give you limited views of your own campsite or a potential beautiful view. Otherwise, love this floor plan!

    Really really love this unit. And I just love how Brinkley is building these. Like the Dovetail drawers. As a woodworker I can tell you that this joint is just massively better that the usual RV butt joint drawer construction. That’s a joint that can survive the rolling earthquake going down the road and it’s something that people don’t talk about enough.
    I really wish this had a front drop frame. It’s the one even mildly serious imperfection on an other wise perfect unit.
    I’d love to see some kind of floor flush toe down system inside the rear baggage door. The idea here would be to allow you to have a full size cooler sitting there that is secure. Just load that sucker up with whatever you want to eat on your travel stops and boom… Road accessible “fridge” without opening the rear patio or putting a slide out.
    I’d also love to see a Max Solar option with at least one more panel (if not two) and a 3000w Smart inverter that can run the whole rig though obviously not all at once. Also a heat pump AC would be a great option.
    My other area of concern is how long it will take to close up the rear patio if the weather takes a turn. The whole thing would ideally be engineered for very rapid breakdown. Like the ability to push a button and have the rear awning close fully without having to hold it down. Quick release pins on everything. Make sure it’s designed so that one person can secure the whole thing very rapidly.
    The second bathroom door seems superfluous but since it doesn’t seem like eliminating it gains you anything (there isn’t space for a cabinet on either side) it might as well stay as it makes the whole space feel more open.
    I also wonder about flip flopping the two slides to put the kitchen on the other side of the rig and give you more campsite windows. Seems like it should be possible.
    Nice job Brinkley!!!

      Would you be OK with losing all the mor/ryde tray storage? That basically occupies what a drop frame would
      I kinda feel like the trays are a better, more useful solution myself. But that's just my two cents

    • @jetdriver
      @jetdriver 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@JoshtheRVNerd I feel like even if you had to lose the trays what you would gain from the drop frame is greater. I also think you could move the tray to the back of the rig which when you consider what they hold would actually be more useful.

    High quality & great service= success, who knew!!!
    I can not wait to own one of these.
    A few minor suggestions if I may:
    1. A fiberglass type roof would be more durable and less maintenance than a TPO roof imo. This may have changed already, but as of last year they said they were using TPO.
    2. Have an option for chocolate brown cabinetry/trim and different color floors. I understand keeping it simple as they grow and scale, so this may already be on their list for the future.
    3. Make the middle divider shelf between the washer/dryer removable. This way, the new GE all-in-one unit can fit. It's probably the best all-in-one unit on the market, but is about as tall as a front load washer on a pedestal. This way, you could still hang short clothes or have shelves for laundry soap, etc above.
    All in all, such an amazing company and product!

    1- How much weight does the patio allow?
    2- Can the dinette slide be extended part way without damage?
    3- Is there an option for an electric reel for the 50 amp cord. Possibly outside of a basement?
    4- Looks like there is room for a 2nd ladder storage box for other long items like brroms, walking sticks, etc.

But . . . while I am also one of those who would not need a garage . . . I would still love for that space to be turned into an office. I love the toy haulers for their patios, just not for hauling toys. I think a good sized rv, maybe about 46-48 ft long with that back area REBUILT as an extra office or bedroom would be really cool. Brinkley did an excellent job. Like the table in its multi use.
    Agree with the toilet platform and the heater vent.
    Move the wine guard, it’s in a poor position if wanting to install another solar panel in front of the current one. Has anyone thought of having two garage doors? Like the first one opening up is the roof and then the floor? Because I would utilize it better with a full enclosed room with screens vs just a screen pull down.
    Mods that I do is a toilet bidet, going to lithium this summer, I think it would be awesome to install a small fresh water tank (~10gals) for traveling. I would like to put in a sink dishwasher but our sink to small for that.
    Brinkley has mastered the quality, design and some innovative. They could use some material used in boating for lighter weight materials. For example, my trim for my slide out fell out, it was the key piece. Even being a foot wide and eight inches tall, it was a heavy piece of particle board.

  • @PhyllisWard-l5i
    @PhyllisWard-l5i 8 месяцев назад

    I give it to Brinkley for having brought together another well-made RV. My fiancé and I have been seriously looking at models and ruled out everybody except Brinkley. When it comes time to retire, they’re the only ones I will consider. But there are a few things that I really like to see changed.
    I’m not a big fan Of the brown theater seating. I grew up with so much brown in the 80s and 90s. It just dates it to me. I
    like the look of the frameless windows, but being in the senior circuit, for some of us to turn knobs, is not the easiest with people who have arthritis. And even those windows only crack about 9 inches which to me is not a lot of airflow. I would love to see them go with something like a framed window on the inside and slide windows for better airflow.
    Also, when we were looking at the 3100 there was a note on the washer dryer prep area that said you needed to vent the doors when using them. Wouldn’t it be easier to have doors with slats that vent on their own. And as far as the cubbies next to it, I’d rather see a narrow storage area where I could put my laundry products.
    And last is the bed area. The shelf above my head doesn’t seem to useful other than things falling on my head when I’m stretching to get something off of it. And I like there is an option for a queen bed and night stands but it seems crazy to nickel and dime people to pay for an option before it leaves the factory 😟
    Brinkley, keep up the good work and thank you for listening to all of our opinions and suggestions on things. I think the people have spoken and are truly wanting a great product with a company that stands by their work.
