I parted ways with a friend last year who was jealous of me and I was in denial. She always played down my wins and competed with me in every way. When I reflect I realize she was/is extremely insecure. She was doing better than me financially so like you mentioned people can be jealous/envy you based on the grace you carry.

@@EvieAswiti i leveled up and and she started acting funny. She actually cut me off over a very petty incident. I tried reaching out. She was looking for a reason to pin it on me. It ended up working out because I should have ended it so much earlier!

Very true! Social media is leaving room for envy to pop its rearing head as well with the constant reminder that we are all different. Once you can accept this truth, the envy can turn into appreciation or motivation, depending on how one chooses to view it ❤❤

Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom on this topic. There are a lot of insecure women at my job who say rude comments to me and stare at me when I wear my natural hair; it’s weird. I started to thing that maybe I should hide myself in a way but I didn’t want to ignore my true self. After catching this video, I’ve learned that it’s not my business to care what that think and try to appease them. I’m going to do me and love me no matter what ppl think❤
