I feel like sadness comes from putting too much on ourselves and trying to relate a timeline. But as we sit, things are changing. I’m on a journey to feel God’s presence.

I'm glad to know that I am enough, i am loved just the way that I am and that any shift or change in my life will happen in God's timing.❤

Thank you for this! It sometimes gets difficult because of the myriad of voices we hear. It's our own inner voice, social media, friends and narratives at work, then the One Voice we need to hear to, the Lord. It's very obvious that we need to listen to the Lord over people, but sometimes I get caught in the external voices about self-image (weight loss, glow-ups, being good enough for men and finding a husband). Kuningi (translatiom: it's a lot). This is the reminder I needed.
This video brought me to tears. The salt and the light in your words are refreshing, continue abiding in the Lord 🩷 This perfectly explains what is happening to me. God is doing a great and mighty work within me that I could have never done alone, He is clever and knows the exact pacing and timing ⏱️ It’s truly a mystery how He does these things within us so effectively and efficiently where we used to strive and strain to do the most inefficient and ineffective “work” Praise the Lord for your channel 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I’m in a season of resting in God and fully allowing his will to be done in every area of my life.This has caused me to “quarantine” and find comfort in my home and refuse the desire to be overly busy (shopping, eating out, social media, etc) The only plans I’m fully embracing are those I know he’s released me to do.
