    it's weird just listening to him talk, after all these years of listening to him practically yelling all the time it's just hard to believe that's Scott Steiner talking.

    well, the roids didn't help but the reason his voice sounds like this is because he took a botched kick to the throat back in 2007, nearly killed him. They had to put him in an induced coma and gave him a weeks worth of operations. He's extremely lucky to be alive, but his voice throat and voice is permemantly damaged.

    He says you know a lot. He and Kevin Nash should have a you-know contest to see who can say it the most times during an interview. I can imagine Vince Russo putting them in a you-know match. I hope they both lose and leave TNA for good.

    Nice of the interviewer to name drop shannon moore there lol, steiner-"who said that? interviewer-"shannon", steiner-"was he mad about it " lol.

    Well that's good. But the Crocketts and Bischoff didn't run it into the ground. Ted Turner, Russo, Hogan, and those "guaranteed contracts" are what did them in. Bischoff made one of the most powerful and popular factions in the wrestling industry history, and IMO made one of the most top power houses in wrestling history(goldberg). It's just Ted had no direction, Hogan wanted final say, and Russo had creative control. Like I said, mid 99 - 01 when Russo arrived was the final nail in the coffin.

    And I've watched WCW before it BECAME WCW! Going back to it's days of Georgia Championship Wrestling in the early 80s, when you had solid wrestling, bookers who knew the business, and promos were not done by script! Before idiots like the Crockets, Russo and Bischoff ran it into the ground little by little. So trust me, I DO remember how good the product was, way longer than '87

  • @xchargerOUx
    @xchargerOUx 11 лет назад

    JR being the head of WCW. It might have worked, but even he probably knows he's best at talent relations and scouting than running a business. Who knows tho, he never got around to it so we would never know.

  • @fjccommish

    @valiantbros Scott didn't say anything bad about Tank. He said Tank wasn't a wrestler, and thus his work in the ring was brutal. it was. He blamed management, not Tank.

    I remember Scott sounding just like this in the mid 80's before he joined his brother Rick. He was considerably small then he would be when he made his debut at least on any program I watched. He has always been a bit short in interivews either not giving or just taking. Steriods arent going to give a guy this kind of non socialness. It is possible that some other drug may be slowing down his reponses or non investment in the interview. Wrestlers are always in pain. Tought job.

    hard to understand what they are talking about, you know?

  • @joekoe97
    @joekoe97 13 лет назад

    Scott Steiner is obviously out of touch with how wrestlers become popular. It is all about the fans and their reactions. Yes you can try and push someone, but they still have to perform in front of the fans and satsify them and put themselves over. Does not matter who you know, or how much ass you kiss it is the fans that ultimately decide and from what I hear DDP was just a nice guy that got into the business late and Steiner was a guy people were legitimately scared of in the locker room.

  • @Leedz58
    @Leedz58 14 лет назад

    I no its a little one sided me sayng that I feel Scott Steiner is wrong about DDP considering that DDP is my favourite wrestler but Scott was a bad person and a hugh bigget. I mean I know he had the tallent to be a main eventer and He was a champion in WCW but I feel that how you are as a real life person should count as to how you succed in Wrestling and if it was like that Scott wouldn't of got that far

  • @joekoe97
    @joekoe97 12 лет назад

    @Sener That may be true, but I have read very negative things about Steiner and how people in the locker room thought he was legitimately crazy and they stayed away from him. In the book "Death of the WCW" it talked about how he would go on roid rages all the time in the locer room and simply act mean and nasty to people to the point that people were afraid of pissing him off and him going off for no reason. Then when he gets pushed out of the business he has to rip on other people.

    Great theme for a moron is one who assumes something without even watching the product from it's very first existence. Maybe from mid 99 to 01 you can say that, but don't judge a company unless you do it from a wrestling fan perspective that's seen every show since 1987.

  • @JacksonXxXWaWa

    @valiantbros i dont think so

  • @Sener
    @Sener 12 лет назад

    @joekoe97 Scott comes from a different time and really has an old school mentality, unfortunately. Unless you're a legitimate athlete or tough guy, you're not credible to Steiner. And unless you got over on your own, without a company behind you, you're not credible to steiner. you know?

    Goldberg is a crap wrestler to some. But he was over like none other. Till this day he is still over. Austin was released because they seen nothing in his "stunning" steve austin gimmick. He wasn't Austin 3:16 so they would of never known anyway. So it worked for the best he left. Accidents happen. Bret Hart was unfortunate enough to be part of a match with a green wrestler. Hart on the other hand, wasn't getting over in the south.

    @valiantbros hahahahaha....you do realize Scott was legit for years as an amatuer wrestler and an all american. All pro wrestling does is get you use to alot of pain. Tank Abbott lost more matches than he ever won and was overhyped from the beginning. Tank is a fat joke!

    • @seabassmcgee3367
      @seabassmcgee3367 6 лет назад +1

      John T Tank Abbott gets dismissed far too often by people who judge the book by its cover...Tank was a very good collegegate wrestler as well having one of the hardest punches known to man, he was fighting on a weekly basis for over ten years before he even got to ufc, he already had many miles on the clock, yes his cardio was shit and that let him down but as far as Tank vs Stiener goes my money is on Tank all day long, the difference being Tank could take a punch off Steiner but I'm almost certain Steiner couldn't take one off Tank
