Ari Koivunen meets Timo Kotipelto during the Idols competition. Stratovarius is one of Ari's favorite metal bands from Finland and Ari chose their song "Hunting High and Low" for the 4th Idols final.

Ari: Yeah it's pretty same thing. Kotipelto: Yeah well that guy (Ari) has a natural talent and he uses it very well, and you can see that Ari wants to sing, like give the man a microphone and vote him!! He is obviously the best singer in the competition. Ari has chose his second song, that's Stratovarius Hunting high and low. Ari: I'm always doing my own thing, but i'm still respecting the original version. Kotipelto: Well that was a better than original version and you can't do nothing for it:D

(Idols) Ari: I have listened Stratovarius since i have been bout 9-10 years old and i like a many things in Stratovarius. (Kotipelto's band) Ari: Kotipelto's voice is original and very clean all the time and he got an incredible voice range. Kotipelto: Why did you choosed this song from our band? (Hunting high and low) I couldn't fit it all in here but i'll write a new one.

Ari: Well, it's well casual, i mean it's not that hard to listen. Kotipelto: I have seen Ari singing only that Billy Joel song, (Piano man) which he singed actually really well. Kotipelto: It was a little heavier version than the original is, but i liked it a lot.

Kotipelto: How does it feel to sing for a millions watchers? (TV watchers) Does it comes with an pressure, cause it's quite different when your singing karaoke at the some bar. Ari: Well, i don't know, i haven't actually ever thought it that way. I just think that it's a fucking nice to sing for people. It's same than there is a two or two million peoples watching. Kotipelto: That's true.

Lol when Stratovarius played on Toronto I sat and ate dinner with Kotipelto at subway before the show... Weird thing was Johannson was also in Subway, but sitting at another table alone.
