I like how the accessories of the Medieval Market Village come together to create a scene. Owning the Medieval Town Square, the designers didn't take that holistic approach, so the accessories feel scattered and in the way of the overall set; it takes away the feeling of a village and instead feels like detail for the sake of it. I miss 2000s era Lego, where creativity was king.
It would be great to see you make a moc with this and the town square when it comes out. Maybe the mill village raid as well, and the older blacksmith from 2003, since it’s a similar size to the other buildings.
Great review, I have no feelings towards the set though. My age of lego ended with fright knights and Vikings of which I own every set. Then I went to college etc. It is only the last few years I got involved in lego again. Good to see younger generations have had such iconic sets
The new one is obviously more detailed, but aestheticly i prefer the old one. Cant even say why exactly, maybe the less cheerfull/colorfull theme makes it more like what id imagine a medieval fantasy village to look like? Also the old one feels a little more lived in, especially with all the farm animals. The new one just has the one goat, which is just to little imo, definetly needed something else
Great set for its time! So many medieval themed sets have blacksmiths in the though, which is fine, but I'm really happy the new one will have a bunch of other shops and no blacksmith, since there's already a set for that. My page is ready to order March 1st!
I used to have this as a kid but now it’s all broken I’m gonna try finding all the pieces to rebuild it
Be careful of those brown peices, especially the brown window arch pieces!
@@FitBricks I know I accidentally broke a few
Very captivating video! And the commentary was pretty funny too 😂
I’m glad you enjoyed!
1 Apple = 3 gold, well it reflects how lego is nowadays😂
It’s terrifying looking through the website
@@FitBricks yep I agree 100%
I don’t mind the weird commentary it’s actually hilarious
Im experimenting and trying to find my voice. Im glad you enjoyed

Damn, I haven't looked at the backside of the box since I was 8, when I first got it. That brings back so many memories
Great video production!
Much appreciated!
I already have the Town Square, but I just bought this set too because I feel they will display well together
This is the only set I need to complete my fantasy era castle collection, nice vid!
I appreciate it, I hope you get it

You want him to go and go broke
@@Lumberjack_king The hardest choices, require the strongest wills.
Good review. May I ask if you can do a review of the two sets combined please?
That’s the plan!
@@FitBricks I am looking forward to it!

What’s great about this set is that you could buy a bunch of these sets and switch out the colors and create a bigger village
I never really thought about the color palate; you are so right.
Always wanted this set, between the awesome looking builds and figs. Hopefully the new set delivers. Another cow would have been nice!
I think the new set is gonna swamp this one.

Im in love with the variety of the new one
How much did that cost new?
I got this at $360 plus shipping
The ‘brainrot humor’ really makes people sound like they graduated middle school last week.
Great review. Great set. I thought this had two old goats? 🐐🐐
Nah just them 2 cows
@@FitBricks ya wrong set🤠
Mill Village Raid 7189 has 2 goats
Awesome
Terrific
This set is cool, I prefer the new one and I will be getting it day one.
Nice set
Yes
so pro set
Honestly I mostly prefer this set over the new version even with the less modern techniques and pieces.
I want to compare the two to see how I really feel
Great review - but not that impressive of a set, especially compared to the new town square
