I love a Lego advent calendar, but they're a bit repetitive, think mixing it up would be a great idea... instead of City one year, a Knights or Pirate calendar... instead of Marvel a DC one!

At the end of the day. Lego is for kids, stop ruining awesome sets by judging them as an adult, it destroys the companies ability to keep making affordable sets.

As a long time collector that has all of the larger castle builds, it's always interesting to see what the collectors market is doing. Of course, a set is only worth what someone's will to pay for it, and sadly, it's only been since around 2014 that the 'collectors/investors' market blew up and the exploitive pricing began.

I like how the accessories of the Medieval Market Village come together to create a scene. Owning the Medieval Town Square, the designers didn't take that holistic approach, so the accessories feel scattered and in the way of the overall set; it takes away the feeling of a village and instead feels like detail for the sake of it. I miss 2000s era Lego, where creativity was king.

I got a wonderful copy of 6086 with a fairly good condition box. Was my childhood dream set, finally got a copy in my 30s. $75 for the set, $80 for the box. Castle theme is the best theme LEGO has. Majisto is my favorite.

I started collecting again around 2019 and got some big sets before Covid sent values skyrocketing. Felt pretty fortunate to get Black Knights Castle under $300.

The best value castle set in the current market is 10305 Lion's knight castle and 31120 creator 3 in 1 IMO.

I recently bought the Black Knight's Castle, but it cost around $300, so I don't think I could've spent $400 on it.

I randomly thought of this set, googled it, found this excellent vid to take me down memory lane. I had the set and thoroughly enjoyed it as a kid. The chicken and bucket were my favourite parts

You forgot about the non-factional classic castle sets: the smithery, the weapon's workshop and the best one of these, the guarded Inn. A very iconic set. I'm glad i got one.

The Royal Knights were fine as a faction. I really love that they had a king, so that was great (especially that his name was Richard, LOL!) but I HATED the sets! They were absolutely hideous! To "open" if that makes any sense, and blocky looking. However, personally, I'm not a fan of Knights Kingdom 2 and Nexo Knights. I don't really like the franchise sets or any LEGO theme that has lots of named characters. I think it's more creative for kids to be able to name the figures that come with the sets anything they want.

I liked the force awakens, I think the last Jedi in my personal opinion, while there were problems, I actually believe it’s a little overhated. The rise of skywalker was garbage. If we got something like the draft of Colin trevorrows episode 9 duel of the fates, it could have helped the sequels but hey, we got Zack snyders justice league so who knows, maybe if we’re vocal enough, we can make Colin trevorrows Star Wars happen. #maketrevorrowstarwars

Thanks for this vid! This was my dream Lego set during my childhood, too expensive for my parents back then. Somehow miracle happened, my uncle one day brought home this brand new set for me, exactly the box I had been wishing for!! Now the set is still with me, bought some of the missing bricks parts online to rebuild it a few years ago, the Skeleton minifig well played and aged like a real amber skeleton! I love the skeleton minifig until today, my prized collection. Box and instruction paper gone though.. I rebuilt this fortress into the alternate build printed on the back of the box, way more majestic! I have a thing for skeletons, love at first sight in the shopping mall during 1990s! The 1st Skeleton minifig ever! Subbed and bell pressed!

10193 Medieval Market Village is the best fantasy era castel set and 10223 Kingdoms Joust is the best kingdoms set.

I bought 4 and build the falcon master castle. What a beauty.

I have the two pirate builds from 2015 as well as the chess set, always wish I had gotten the soldiers builds as well, and of course the brick bounty.
