I send many cuddles for your mum because dementia is just one of the cruelest of diseases and very heartbreaking to have anyone with it in your family . But so pleased you all had a wonderful time . Louie will be pleased to have you back now though , I bet he was so excited to see you all Xx

Thanks for taking the time to do this Nisha, I really enjoyed it. I have fond memories of balmy evening walks in Spain when my children were young, such lovely evenings. Now in their 40s they take their own children! Your mama is still beautiful and doesn’t seem to age at all, despite her worries with your stepdad. See you soon in Blighty! X

Your poor stepdad and your poor mum…..how I feel for them and you so far away…..your mum was soooo happy to see you after such a long time….hard for you too Nisha to watch it all and feel helpless as everyone does in these circumstances.

Hi Nisha! What a fun video! Your mum is beautiful just like you! I know you were all so happy to see your mum & stepfather. I'm sorry about your stepfather. My brother has dementia & is in a hospital bed & it's very hard to get him out in a wheelchair. We can't take him out & about though. It's all so very sad. Bless your mum! I know it's hard for her too. I know she loved seeing all of you. Thank you for taking us with you & sharing your trip! I loved every minute of it! 🌷🌷

I just love going on vacation with you!! Thank you thank you for taking us along. I live in Florida in US, and we are going to Spain (and a few other countries, including Britain!) in April, and Malaga is one of our stops! Loved seeing the shopping(!!) and the gorgeous architecture. And the purple jumper is gorgeous, and those white trousers… ❤ Paul must have gotten the “two beer snoozies” - that’s what my husband says he gets after 2 beers in the afternoon 😂😂😂. Hi Nisha! I would love to go to Spain one day! A very emotional trip surely when you haven't seen your mom for so long! Your mom is a very beautiful woman! I often watch A Charming Abode on youtube. This woman chose to talk about dementia! Her husband has it and still has lucid periods! She makes videos with him to explain and help people understand what this disease is! Family is very important and you should visit your parents when you can. I lost my mom when I was 29 years old and I often think about her! Welcome back home! Thank you for sharing! xxx

What a beautiful country! Thank you for sharing it with us but so happy you lived IN the moment with your mom! I lost my mom 10 yrs ago to cancer and lost my mother in law last year after dealing with dementia/Alzheimer’s for 7yrs. It’s a horrible disease and so hard on the family. I’m glad you got to be with your stepdad…he may not remember it but you always will!

Thank you. She just got a carer that comes 3 times a week for a couple of hours to help with shaving , showering and enables my mum to pop out shopping x

You,your mom, and Spain so beautiful and fun too! I thought the pleather pants and white pants with buttons are so cute! Seriously. Tell Paul he got a beautiful purple jumper. Purple is my current fav. But that purple was truly pretty, pretty, pretty!!!! Max has gotten so big, it's amazing. It was really importante' ( my Go at Spanish🤭) that you got to see your mom. I'm glad you got to be with your family again!!! The hardest part of any trip was leaving the doggy behind. I'm sure Louie will be thrilled to see you again!!

Caring for a loved one with dementia is so draining. What's the support like in Spain? Lovely to see you enjoying time with your mum. You should do it as often as you can Nisha.
It is better than in the UK, my mum is going to get carer for a couple of hours 3 times a week for free (they are residents of Spain) and his doctor calls once every two months to check up on him and a nurse comes to their home to check his blood pressure and asses him. x
