You made me laugh when you said..."but not me" because i use the same method. I am not a moulding purist and love the poly or foam faux mouldings. I just finished using that exact same chair rail trim where the wall meets the ceiling. It gave it such a nice clean line. Trick for me was to be patient while placing it along the level line. Money saving tip...peruse Temu! They have such affordable faux and wood trim pieces. You did a lovely job once again!
"Everything in my house is wonky". My whole entire life. Lol. And it really should be that way. 😺 I do hope that you know how loved you are, and how many people are praying for you and your son. ❤
Lynsey, 👏🎉👏🎉, Bravo, you are amazing! Your creativity is incredible, I am sure Ralph Lauren would smile. Finally, green has come into its own, experiencing nature inside our homes is so calming. What took so long? I sincerely hope you can pass on your creativity to one, or all of your grandchildren so they can experience the pleasure of creating thrifting finds in their lives. So they can say, “I did this myself”. Have a wonderful week my Friend! ❤️🇫🇷❤️
I,too, am a fan of green, in all shades. Especially love the drapes. Architectural elements always elevate a room to new heights. A job well done. The color really enriched your tapestry art.
It looks lovely. I checked your site 3 times on Friday for an update on your son & was so happy when you were able to catch your breath & let us know the surgery was over. I'll just keep my note on the computer for a while for extra support!
Hi Liynsey, Glad to know your son is doing well. I absolutely love green, in fact am in the process of sourcing a green couch/sofa. It's a very calming & healing color. The dining room looks great. Had you not mentioned the "wonkyness" I probably wouldn't of noticed, but since you did, I could tell a bit, but you know it looks more like it is settlement in the house & not that it went on uneven. So it goes well with such an old home & just adds to the character. Great job as always!
Absolutely beautiful, Lynsey! From here the tiles and molding do look real. And I love the green! One of my favorites as well. I’m so happy your son is doing well. Take care and have a great week ahead!💗
You are just fearless in trying new techniques for decorating and they always turn out great. Love the look of the completed room. Hope your son is doing well.
I love the look of molding. It always makes a home look more upscale and interesting. Lovely job. I can understand the love of green. Its one of my favorites. I've noticed we like many of the same colors pink, green, lavender and purple. 😊 I noticed someone in the comment section mentioned you gave an update on your son. Im so happy about that. We all want your son to heal up well. Prayer works! I will look out on the community page for updates.
❤ Looks like an English country estate to me!!! I love how you let us see that you are an everyday DIYer by just trying to see how your vision will work. Leaving everything in the video view!!! I do this so many times becausecI just want to make sure it is going to work. Love it!!❤❤❤
Hi Lynsey, What a great find as the walls add another layer of cozy to the room!! They look great and make your home so cozy. I'm not English nor do I live in England but I adore English country decor and love green too as well as the collections and books you have!! The dining room looks holiday ready! Prayers again to your son on a full recovery as well as the family breathing a sign of relief when this is all behind him and family! Greetings from the Fox hunting area of Maryland!
Hi Lynsey and family. Love your sage green room. How beautiful it is definitely classic and elegant. Thoroughly enjoyed this decorating and how the room looks. I have a green sitting room and a red dining room so love bold colours. Its a typical autumn day in Sunderland today but does not stop me going out for a look in our charity shops and a coffee with friends. Hope your son is on the mend. Love from the UK 🇬🇧.
Hi Tracey, I love the British charity shops I miss them I have spent many hours with my sister checking them out on my visits home, it’s one of my favourite things to do ever (wow I’m a cheap date) lol
So wonderful it turned out. The sage green paint is beautiful and the room looks finished I would really wait on the stencil when you have absolutely nothing else to do (smile). Cheers
@@lynseysrecycledbliss1111 yes that’s an understatement. It looks gorgeous, love the paint colour too it brings everything to life. Glad your son’s surgery went well,,, any idea as to when he’ll be home? Thinking of you 🎃🤗💕❤️
Hello from storm ravaged Florida! We are fine, back in our house that had no damage or flooding. We are lucky! Love the sage green color, great job with the “paneling”! Hoping for a smooth recovery for your son!🕊️
Looks marvelous! Someone in the Amazon comments noted that you are meant to overlap or trim the edges---that bit of flashing is annoying but you are correct, it's unnoticeable, all you see is the wonderful panels!
I have loved the cottage look before people started saying cottagecore years and years and years ago. Back then it was considered somewhat cluttery, but comfortable. Today it's all the rage aww the fashion trends. Anyway, I have slowly built up my house like yours piece by piece. And I also feel the only way you can get that aged past down through the family is by thrifting. I do get so many ideas by watching your channel. Thank you
Birds of a feather 😮 I have the exact same peel and stick things ( you know from where…😂) for my bedroom and also wanted to paint it in a very similar green, because on the upper wall I have that peel & stick wallpaper of a William Morris print in orange and green. Unfortunately I might have to move out , so I don’t put it up and take it to the next flat. 😒I just put up a very British wallpaper in my entry way, the upper part hunting scene and below red linen ( self adhesive) , cost my about 300€ and I’m devastated that I now may have to move. The call came as I was literally glueing that last piece of wallpaper on… things happen! 🤷🏽♀️ Ps: I love the ghost candles on your windowsill ❤

The ‘paneling’ and ‘wainscoting’ looks wonderful, I think. The paint color is wonderful with all your artwork and furniture. Very well done!!
I'm so glad you like it, it was my favorite part of the design!😊

Oh that would piss me off,it sounds gorgeous, hey life is too short not to surround yourself with what you love. ❤️ your taste is exquisite 😘
Did you use any eaxtra glue on the panels and trim? I would be willing to use this material for the cost, definitely.
I didn’t need too, they are very sticky.
