I live in Barcelona, and my main advice would be avoid La Rambla like the plague. Absolute tourist trap, locals avoid it if they can, and the restaurants are all overpriced and substandard. You'll be pestered with "coffeeshop coffeeshop?" (codeword for "weed) every 10 metres - and later a night people will be offering you prostitutes. It might once have been a lively and vibrant place for locals, but that was long ago. Now just avoid. So many better places to see. Also, for the metro, buy yourself a "T-Casual" ticket. Costs 11.35€ and it gives you ten trips on any kind of public transport. You can even use it to get the train to and from the airport.
I've heard pros and cons about La Rambla - mostly cons. Not just the hustlers and pickpockets, but the expensive shops, food & drink as well. Still, it will be our first time in Barcelona, so we have to at least walk up & down the boulevard now and then during our stay. But we'll stay clear of the blatant tourist traps.
Coffee shop! Never heard that one before, and i've been to Barcelona 7/8 times. I will be there next month, i'll keep my eyes and ears open for that one!!!😜😜
Just got back from 3 days and had an incredible time. The absolute life saver was the hop on hop off tour bus which goes all round the city for 35 euros for 24 hrs. It’s regular, open top, and covers all the main attractions!
We'll be in Barcelona next month, and we've already purchased advanced 'skip the lines' tickets to Sagrada Família, Park Güell, etc. Plus we had included a two day hop on-hop off bus pass. I know the bus routes can be covered in one day, but we wanted to stretch it out a bit and not feel so rushed.
Forgive me, I'm just now seeing this response. For some reason YT didn't show it to me. That said, the Hop On Hop Off bus in Barcelona is ideal for a short stay as Barcelona is so large and there are 3 different routes on that bus you can choose to cover more ground. I hope you get to use 2 different routes to see all you want! @@clubmogambo3214
I am from Barcelona and I recommend spending two days on the Costa Brava, within the range of days scheduled in the city. The towns of Tossa de Mar and Cadaqués are two incredible paradises where you can enjoy exquisite Catalan cuisine that is difficult to find in Barcelona and wonderful coastal landscapes with crystal clear waters. Tossa de Mar is one hour from Barcelona and Cadaqués two hours.
We went to Barcelona last week. Your video was helpful. We had a great time. The city is alive and full of history. The food was great. The Boqueria was amazing and the Spaniards were very welcoming. We took a class on how to make paella by a Professional Chef, Andrea in a real commercial kitchen at a culinary school. It was amazing. We recommend to buy tours as we did. All the tours were very professional and knowledgeable about their city. We got to see in five days everything the city had to offer because of the tours. We were very satisfied. I love the Spanish cuisine. We also went to watch a Flamenco show with dinner and was great!!!! We learned a lot!!! We felt very safe. We followed all the tips, thanks. Barcelona in my experience is very safe in comparison to other major cities in the world!

This is an excellent video, my wife and i visit Barcelona frequently in transit simply to join cruise ships and have found one hotel we really like, however we are not staying there on the outbound Journey at the end of next month because the price is ridiculous although we are on the way back, it is on avenue parallel, so just up the road from the Columbus statue with lots of good snack bars and shops near by.
Thanks for sharing! If you have the name of the hotel, please feel free to share it here for other readers. I'm pleased you liked the video. Please keep coming back to CORR Travel!
Wow, love your Awesome Tips for first travelers to Barcelona so Thanks A Million! My bestie is traveling to Spain and Madrid for the first time in August which just happens to be The Peak Tourist Season. I wished he saw your Barcelona Travel Vlog first before he booked his travel.

Thank you so much for sharing this great video about traveling to Barcelona! These practical tips will undoubtedly help first-time travelers planning a trip to this beautiful city to better prepare their itinerary. I'm also very excited to see what kind of different Europe I'll encounter while traveling by AVE! My friend taught me how I can get cheap train tickets, so this trip will no longer be by plane but by rail ~ looking forward to my European rail trip!
Hey there fellow travelers! Just watched the CORR Travel video on essential tips for a Barcelona trip, and it's spot on! 🌆✈ The insights about the Barcelona Card and the 1-hour-15-minute transfer validity were really handy. Also, great to know about the alternatives to La Rambla - the hustle there can be a bit overwhelming. And the "T-Casual" ticket for the metro is a real money-saver. Kudos to the presenter for the super useful information! Can't wait to explore Barcelona armed with these pro tips!

Super helpful video, thank you! My only comment would be. I wish the Tips boxes were a little skinnier so we could see more of the beautiful footage of the city! Can’t wait to visit next month :-) thank you again for the tips!
Great suggestion! Thank you. I will work on that. I'm pleased you like the video overall and found it helpful for planning your trip to Barcelona. Have a great time!
I'm pleased you found it useful! Yes, the weather won't be as warm, but November should have much less tourists. Just check the holiday schedule and my Top 10 Things to Do on a first time visit video. Enjoy!
WOW thank you so much, that was the most comprehensive and informative tips, guides and safety tips, you have given to us. I didn't know about the Barcelona Pass, that will help out immensely. I am new to your channel, I will continue to watch more of your videos, very educational. Thank you ♥
You are so welcome! I'm pleased you found it useful and are following CORR Travel. Thank you! I have these travel guides for many locations (just released Copenhagen) that are all from my personal travel. I hope you enjoy them. 😃
Barcelona is awesome..i was there 2times last was sunday after 1week of holidays now working again..but if we talking about Barcelona man i recomendent to all people who love everything easy cause there people realy enjoy in life..i personaly realy love that city cause u have a lot but realy a lot things to c..la rambla is around more than 1km long that is let say heart of the city and realy its not expensive..i live in Slovenija and price are almoust the same except the fruit..fruit is very cheap in Barca and u must try katalonian ice cream..cant wait next time to go visit that beautiful atractive city..❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice guide! But eco options? Hmm. I live in Sweden 🇸🇪. Car takes a couple of days with bridge and border crossings. Flying on the other hand takes 3,5 hours. Train takes more than 24 hours with changes. So. If you’re going for a short trip and live in another county flying is the way to go. Some airlines fly on partly SAF now anyways if that is of concern. Otherwise a comprehensive look at things to do and how to get around. I visited for a week in 2006 but attended a conference so time to explore was limited. Going for a weekend with family soon. So good reminder of things to see and show my wife who never visited Spain before.
I'm so pleased! Oh, how I wish I had one available for Amsterdam. Unfortunately, I do not a this time, but going back to Amsterdam is on my list so one will come eventually. Please keep coming back to CORR Travel for more videos. They ARE coming! 😃
Just to add that the ticket’s validity when transferring from bus to metro etc. is valid as long as it is within 1 hour and 15 minutes meaning you will usually just use one valid trip during that time when transferring or when going back
Nice video, I am in Barcelona now and I would question women staying in Raval…..coming from the locals I have talked to….I mean it’s not the Bronx lol, but many better options I feel. Gracia is great where I am staying & not as jam packed as the Gothic Quarter & near plenty of attractions & access to the metro.
Don't let the locals put you off. I live in the city, and it does have a reputation. There are a few dodgy characters in Raval for sure, but in general Barcelona (including Raval) is a very safe city. You are very unlikely to ever be in physical danger. Just look out for your belongings and you'll be fine. If its night, there are a few quieter side-streets you might want to avoid, but they will be obvious to you. Raval is actually a fantastic area, with a lot of life and character. It's still part of the Old City with some beautfiul buildings, but also less chock-full of tourists who avoid it because of the reputation. Some of the best bars and clubs in the city are in Raval, and you won't get charged the tourist premium that you do elsewhere in the centre. Also, its closer to Poble Sec and Montjuic than the rest of the centre, which are both great areas well worth visiting.

You know, I never had a problem on the metro. However, the metro in many locations around the world can sometimes be sketchy during peak travel times when crowded. Choosing a good time to ride to avoid these situations is a small helpful tip that may also apply to Barcelona?
@@CinemaMediaStudies Always just practice general safety precautions - it's the best you can do. But honestly, I have not had a problem on the metro. Note: I SWEAR by my mono-sling bag. It's the only day bag I bring and when in crowded/touristy areas (La Rambla) or like the metro, I wear it so it's in front of me (not behind me). I don't care what I look like. It's all about keeping your items safe. If you want, you can see it on my '3 Days in Barcelona': ruclips.net/video/vRNVtYoG9Js/видео.html In that video description, I provide a link to a good, eco-friendly mono-sling by Osprey (but any good mono-sling will do): Osprey Mono Sling Bag: amzn.to/45N6A3l
I'm not as familiar with that neighborhood as others, but I did a quick Google search and from what I read, it says this 'hood is considered safe. If you are walking distance to metro stop, it will make it even easier and quicker to access the other neighborhoods for cheap!
You know, I'm sorry I don't. Good news is, I believe that Camp Nou is reopening the end of this year and then tours of the stadium would resume, I would think. :-)
Thank you for this great video! It's very informative. My husband and I are traveling to Barcelona in September for a cruise. We are arriving a few days early. We arrive late on a Monday night- like we won't get into our hotel until 10 pm. Would you be able to tell me if there are restaurants/bars still serving that late? It seems dinner is much later there, but on a Monday night I wasn't sure. Thanks :)
I'm so pleased you found it helpful! If you are arriving in September, you should still have GREAT weather but be past the huge crowds making your visit (and accessing the big ticket items) more enjoyable. Check the links in the video description for dining opportunities, or use the apps I suggested in the video. Even though it's September, they dine late in Barcelona so a Monday should not be an issue. Again, the apps will help guide you through the neighborhood dining and you can get an idea on the restaurant opening hours. If you are staying for a few days, also check out my 3 Days in Barcelona itinerary online: www.corrtravel.com/solo-travel-in-barcelona-3-day-itinerary/ Have a wonderful time!
My husband and I are planning a trip to Spain in May 2024. I walk with a cane. Are there any accommodations that might help me out. We will probably buy the Barcelona card or the Barcelona essentials card.
Yes, many accommodations will have lifts so I would recommend putting a request for what best suits you and let them know of your need for a lift to get to your room. Also, location/proximity to your desired attractions will definitely help. I have some good hotel recommendations in the video description that you may like. I'm sure if you email with your hotel in advance, they can assist you with whatever you need and arranging transportation should you need it. The Barcelona Card can provide good savings. Just ensure it covers the attractions you wish to see to get the most out of it. I believe it still includes the Hop On Hop Off Bus, which in Barcelona, is wonderful! It covers a lot of ground and sites. I hope you have a wonderful time!
I have not stayed there, but looked it up. Seems to have good ratings, and sustainability ratings. 😃 🌱 Plus, it's in a nice location - still walkable and close to the beach. I bet you'll have a pleasant stay there. Let me know how you liked it!
@@CORRTravel our stay was amazing, the weather was great and the hotel was fine for the price. Only downside was queuing for breakfast in the morning, otherwise fully recommended. Barcelona is beautiful.
I really enjoyed your video. Going to Barcelona in October. What information can you share about all documentation that will be needed. We are checking on the Barcelona Card should also include a T-Casual card. Thank you
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I hope you are more prepared for your October visit. Please know that October 12th is National Day of Spain holiday and Barcelona is bound to be crowded. Even though it's shoulder season, I would still get big ticket item tickets in advance if you are there during that weekend, just in case. The Barcelona Card should help, but confirm what 'skip the line' entries you are allowed and supplement the ones that are not. If you have the Barcelona Card, I'm unsure why you would need the T-Casual card as the Barcelona Card should cover public transportation. Always check the card details. Beyond that, I'm unsure as to what needed documentation you are referring to. I hope this was helpful!
Just spent two weeks in Spain and went from Barcelona to Sevilla. #1 complain of mine is the Spanish attitude, shortness, and some nastiness. I had always heard about French attidude towards tourists, but I have to say Spaniards, for now, hold the #1 position. It got so bad I wanted to leave at the end of week one. We didn't and kept going, but it took its toll on our overall mood about this trip. (It was bad enough, I will put this opinion on any Spanish travel blog/video I see!)
@@CORRTravel Thanks. It was ok. We enjoyed the building, vermut, sangria, most tapas, and just away from home for a while. I am not sure if we got unlucky or is that common with tourists!?
Well I'm glad you had some enjoyment. Personally, I have not had a bad experience with Spaniards, but they can be abrupt at times and seem not so friendly or warm. I have heard of others expressing this opinion of them as well.@@Equilibrium29
@CORRTravel I think someone needs to make a vlog about this to prepare tourists. Second week of the trip, it wasn't bothering me as much. I would just grinn, shake my head, then move on. I was prepared for it.
I’ve looked closely at the Barcelona Card, but it feels like one must then go to the ticket counter, which could take a lot of time if there’s a long line. I also heard the discounts are applied to retail ticket office price, and that advanced online purchases can offer similar discounts and allow you to avoid a ticket line.
Just get it at the airport or metro when you arrive and you're good to go. It's up to you what you wish to see and do compared to individual tickets. Again, up to you. Have fun!
@@CORRTravelI'm travelling to Barcelona next week and I have a lil question, if I buy the Barcelona Card, can I enter all the museums and attractions included for free? Or does the card work as a discount? Do I avoid having to wait in line with this card or am I gonna still have to wait? Thank u so much for the video, it was really the guide I needed 💥🦾
Read the card details so you know which attractions it covers. If covered, yes, you should just be able to show the card. However.... if you are going during peak season, I would highly ensure the card allows you to select pre-selected entry date and time so you're not standing in line. Arrange those entry dates and times as far in advance as possible.@@sergioaragonrod8556
HI NICE VIDEO, late planning a trip for this summer probably staying 2 days in Barcelona and then a cruise I am in MIA. Do you think is to late to plan? or to get the Visa? Thank you
I'm so pleased you liked it and found it helpful! No, it's not too late to plan. The earlier you do AND book, the better. Prices go up all of the time. If you're going from the US, you don't need a visa to enter Europe (the ETIAS waiver will not go into effect until 2025) if your stay in the EU is 90 days or less. :-) Have a great time!
Great vid and tips. Planning to visit Barcelona next year either April or May. Will early May still shoulder season or already charging peak season rates? By the way as a soccer fan Nou Camp is a must even though I am not a FC Barcelona fan.
Glad it was helpful! Yes, early May is still shoulder season and if you book your flight and accommodations now (the sooner the better) then you'll save more money. That's always been my experience. Yes, Camp Nou is popular for sure. I could not cover every top thing to do in Barcelona or the video would take forever. 😉 But, please know Camp Nou is being renovated and I don't believe construction will end until 2025/2026. You may want to Google that if you were planning on going on your visit to Barcelona. Have fun!
I'm planning on going to Spain later in the year. I had in mind to go to Madrid, Seville and Barcelona. It would only be for 10 days. Was looking at 3 days each in Madrid and Seville and then 4 days in Barcelona. What are you thoughts? Should I do 3 places or should I do 2 and spend more time in Barcelona? Thanks in advance! And thanks for the tips!
Honestly, it comes down to what you want to do in each city. Either or would be totally acceptable. If you have not been to any, I would be apt to evenly space them out, but you still also need to take into consideration travel time! 😀 If you'd like help in planning, I do do that. You can book a 1-hour 'trip audit' with me if you would like: www.corrtravel.com/trip-audit/ And don't forget to watch the Madrid 15 Things To Know Before You Go! ruclips.net/video/bl-jwh3b5GM/видео.html
I’m planning a trip with my two adult daughters BUT I have a disability being Fibromyalgia which makes walking long distances difficult. Are there any motorised wheelchairs to rent? What do you suggest?
Yes, there should be several places to rent from, although I don't know of any first-hand. I would just Google 'electric wheelchair rentals barcelona' and you'll get results, like this one: www.motion4rent.com I would also stay in the Old Town area (like Gothic Quarter). It's pretty flat and easy to get around. I have suggested hotel links in the video description. I hope this helps and that you have a great time with your daughters!
With 2 days in Barcelona should we opt for the Hola transport Card and purchase a hop on hop off pass OR purchase the Barcelona card and skip the HOHO bus in your opinion?
Honestly, it comes down to what you want to see within those two days. If the Barcelona Card is worth it for attractions, then great. Bonus, however, is the HOHO bus (which covers a lot of ground in such a large city), airport transportation AND use of public transport for free and unlimitedly. Without your trip details, the Barcelona Card may be your better option. Have a great time!
Hi, your video seems to be suggesting that the Barcelona Card includes Hop On Hop Off bus tickets, but the Barcelona Card website says that it only provides a 10% discount for this. Can you please clarify?
I'm sorry for the confusion. I said that it included free public transportation, not free Hop On Hop Off bus tickets. Please see the details from the link I have provided. They can change the benefits at any time so it's best to ensure you know what you're getting from the Barcelona Card at time of purchase. I hope that helps!
I wish you put the station names on the screen as you mention them. I’m watching this on my iPad, and I have to have my laptop open to see a map, but I can’t figure out some of the stations you mention
Thank you for your feedback. I have made sure the spelling of the stations in the subtitles are correct so it's easy for people to Google those stations. Easily found. :-)
@CORRTravel I hadn't thought to turn on subtitles! OMG, thank you for responding!! We haven't chosen our hotel yet so I probably shouldn't even be watching the section on traveling in from the airport 😀
@@TracyKMainwaring It's my pleasure to help! Yah I like to provide subtitles for everyone. I find they help. No, please feel free to scan the entire video. It may help you decide where you want to stay. If it also helps, I have provided my top Hotel and Hostel picks for Barcelona. Links to them are in the video description. I have a link to the Barcelona Card in the video description posted for you. It provides you all of the details you need. Yes, it also includes public transportation. 😀
Hello - I have included links to hotel and hostel recommendations (if you're on a budget) in the city center in the video description for your convenience.
Honestly, it depends on how much time you have and what you like to do. I've not been to Sevilla or Bilbao, but if it helps, Sevilla is on my bucket list. Valencia is AMAZING - my videos for Valencia will be coming. I highly recommend Valencia. If you like smaller towns, I would go to San Sebastian after Barcelona, hands down. Subscribe and get notified when it's out. :-)
I believe this hotel is outside of Barcelona central, yes? If so, I am not familiar with this area. If you want to see the main sites of Barcelona, you can either drive or take the train into the central area.
I'd love to answer your question here, but it is rather vague. 🙂 If you are looking for solo travel assistance, including budgeting, planning, etc., feel free to book a call with me to discuss: www.corrtravel.com/coaching-strategy/ If you only need some quick assistance, I can do a 'Trip Audit' session with you: www.corrtravel.com/trip-audit/
As a female solo traveler, all of those will do. What matters really is how long you're going to be there and what you want to do. Barcelona is large so you may wish to stay more central to where you'll more than likely spend your days and nights. If I had to choose, though, between the 3 for any reason, I'd go with the Gothic Quarter. 😀
@@CORRTravel Thank you so much for the advise. I’m only going for four days to see if it would be somewhere I could potentially live. Just want to check out the vibe of Barcelona. I presume Gothic Quarter may be better as I won’t have to spend my short tome getting buses/transport, I’ll go check for accommodation there now ❤️🇪🇸
Ah! I see. Yes, you want to have as much time to scope out Barcelona in a short period of time. Now that I know it's for possibly living there, I suggest you try to spend one day checking out those other neighborhoods to get a feel for them as a possible place to live. Gothic Quarter is pretty central to see top things in Barcelona, but you may end of living a little further away from the Old City area where you'll need metro service? Just a thought. If you like large cities, you'll have a great time!@@Gemini-babykk1
Hi new subbed we are a travel vlog channel to and staying just our side Barcelona in our motorhome which we live work and travel in now we want to get the metro in to the city but can you tell me the best stop to get of at as there are a few we are also thinking of doing the hop on hop off bus but have a tiny dog are they allowed on the hop on/off buses TIA ❤
Hello - Plaça de Catalunyaa is a prime central location to walk, catch the metro and buses, as well as the Hop On Hop Off bus. If they take dogs, however, that I cannot speak to. I would advise speaking with them in advance. Have a great time in Barcelona!
Yes I want to go I did my dna test and found out Iam Spanish and basque on my father side Alarcon so I wana visit Spain I was born in Belize 🇧🇿 and have a us visa
Hi im peter from Kenya,I have invited by a friend to Spain on July my question is what does embassy to spain need from me because I need short term visa im a business man then I come back to Kenya,
Hi Peter. Oh, gosh, I'm sorry, but as a US citizen, I cannot speak to what Spain would require from you for entry. I would contact your country's embassy website for information, or Google Spain's requirements for your entry. I would do this sooner than later - if a visa is required, you should apply early to ensure it's completed in time for your July travel. I'm sorry I could not be of more assistance. I wish you luck in your research!
I can't believe you're recommending purchasing carbon offsets. Those are the biggest scam known to man. Please stop recommending them. There's so much more we can do on our own that costs next to nothing and takes minimal time that actually makes a difference.
I'm sorry you feel that purchasing carbon offsets is not beneficial. Actually, they are beneficial as those funds go to many programs. They are but ONE way you can do you part to protect the environment for more sustainable travel. I encourage you to undertake all efforts, not just carbon offsetting. If you have other great eco-travel tips that you currently do that I have not mentioned, please provide them here for other viewers! Thanks so much!
I just came from Barcelona. My advice is don't waste your time or money going over there. No parking, people don't smile, people are rude, They really don't like Americans and it's really boring. Lots of scammers. They are needy. They want want want but won't offer a cup of water... Bus drivers were rude and had several bad experiences for instance I was with two older ladies friends of mine eating at the beach when the waitress threw the bill at me half way through my meal and I asked why she did that her response was sometimes people get up and leave, mind you were sitting next to her. I spoke to her boss and he was rude as hell. People please take my word for it. Notice that not one person in the video is smiling. The worst trip I taken in my life.
@@CORRTravel Thanks. I had friends that recently came back and they too had a bad time. My daughter went to Paris and the same bad treatment was given. Spain is about looking at antique places and sour people that only want give me give give me and not even a cup of water in return. Even at the airport I was treated different, they were rude. I just want to save people time and money. Look at your whole video and see nobody smiles and it's all about the €uros needed to spend.
@@rollyrol2644 Again, I'm so sorry to hear you say that. To be honest, you are not the first to say the Spaniards can be considered a "little rough around the edges", but we must consider cultural differences, yes? I just take them as they are and have honestly never experienced any rudeness. So, I truly do hope you'll go back to Spain and consider other locations. Valencia rocks. Madrid is lovely. San Sebastian cannot be beat. It's a large country so there are other options. If you don't to go back, consider Portugal. I live here and love it. And I've only ever experienced, and heard of, the kindness of the Portuguese. I've got videos on Portugal, too, and more will be coming! Keep that in your back pocket for future travel. 🙂
You had me until "eco friendly sunscreen" & Only traveling with a carry on to "save airplane fuel" That's just childish and catering to the ignorant...
Is it now? Well, all physics will tell you the heavier the plane, the more fuel is uses. But don't take my word for it as repeated scientific articles will tell you airplanes use more fuel during take off than at any other point in flight, for example: www.popsci.com/story/technology/airplane-fuel-dumping-landing-weight/ As a passenger you can assist in using less fuel in making the plane lighter either by: not flying at all OR bringing less baggage (i.e., fly carry on only). Plus, if you can contribute to a lighter plane, that's also less fuel the plane dumps during flight (a whole other environmental issue). So, I hope you would reconsider and fly the best you can with the planet in mind. Don't believe me. Believe the science. I would think anyone not willing to consider the science is willingly being childish and ... Eco-sunscreen? Have you even bothered to research how the chemicals from sunscreens are killing coral reefs and marine ecosystems? Yah, I doubt it, but I hope you start.
Why in the world wouldn’t you do all you are able in this day and age to protect all forms of life? Including the planets?!? Not doing so is true ignorance.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I never felt unsafe, but it is best to practice general precautions for any large city. I covered those tips in the video. I hope you found them of value.
I would disagree! I have visited the city 7/8 times and haven't had a bad experience. Yes like many big cities it has its problems, and less salubrious areas. Muggings may take place there, but they can occur elsewhere also. I have never experienced that in Barcelona, but I have in my home city, twice!! I have never felt nervous, even walking around late at night. so I would suggest to people, be aware, but relax, and enjoy what is a wonderful city!!
Thank you for sharing your additional tips.

So great to hear! Glad you were able to maximize the Hop On Hop Off bus. It does cover A LOT. I'm glad this video helped maximize your trip as well. 😀
Hi which hotel did you all stay ? I am planning for a 3 days trip. Can you recommend any hotel close to all the main visiting places ?
@@sahanaaifydid you ever figure this out. I’m planning a trip to Barcelona as well.
Thanks for sharing!
Gracias
Yes Tossa de Mar…..
I stayed in blanes and we went on a coach to Barcelona for the day 7 euros each way and did the hop on and off bus had a very long but great day
Very informative ! Thank u.

Very kind of you to say. I'm so pleased you liked it.
I hope you have a wonderful time!

Just to add that the ticket’s validity when transferring from bus to metro etc. is valid as long as it is within 1 hour and 15 minutes meaning you will usually just use one valid trip during that time when transferring or when going back
Thank you for adding that extra value to the viewers.
WOW u have the voice of a tv show anchor
Well, I've never heard that one before, but thank you kindly!
Yes, I think it depends on taste, but these are all good options. I have stayed in Raval right off La Rambla before and it was great.
@@CORRTravel night & day from what I understand lol. Gracia is not as touristy as the gothic and the 4 you mentioned, but yes….what your looking for.
Raval is okay but you need to be extra careful especially when walking in narrow streets where not much people walks at
Don't let the locals put you off.
This video was helpful, planning my visit there in few months, thank you.

Thank you for the helpful tips! How safe is the metro? Some of my friends, including Barcelona residents, told me they got robbed on the metro.
You know, I never had a problem on the metro. However, the metro in many locations around the world can sometimes be sketchy during peak travel times when crowded. Choosing a good time to ride to avoid these situations is a small helpful tip that may also apply to Barcelona?
@@CORRTravel thank you. I was getting nervous when locals told me they lost their phone or wallet on the metro.
How is the H10 Marina? Got it for a pretty cheap rate
I have not stayed there, but looked it up. Seems to have good ratings, and sustainability ratings. 😃 🌱 Plus, it's in a nice location - still walkable and close to the beach. I bet you'll have a pleasant stay there. Let me know how you liked it!

Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you were still able to have fun and enjoy Spain, despite the reception.
Ok Karen.
Have a great time!
I’m planning a trip with my two adult daughters BUT I have a disability being Fibromyalgia which makes walking long distances difficult. Are there any motorised wheelchairs to rent? What do you suggest?
Yes, there should be several places to rent from, although I don't know of any first-hand. I would just Google 'electric wheelchair rentals barcelona' and you'll get results, like this one: www.motion4rent.com
I would also stay in the Old Town area (like Gothic Quarter).
Thank you! @@CORRTravel

Questions from a first time visitor: which city should I vist after Barcelona? Valencia, Sevilla or Bilbao?
Honestly, it depends on how much time you have and what you like to do. I've not been to Sevilla or Bilbao, but if it helps, Sevilla is on my bucket list. Valencia is AMAZING - my videos for Valencia will be coming. I highly recommend Valencia. If you like smaller towns, I would go to San Sebastian after Barcelona, hands down. Hi, as a female solo female traveller would you recommend to stay in gothic quarter, Eixample or Sagrada? 😊🇪🇸💃🏼
Hi, how much is the distance from Barcelona to Valencia by metro train, ticket price, and how I book a metro ticket?
plz tell me
It's normally 2 to 2.5 hours from Madrid to Valencia by AVE train: www.renfe.com/es/en
Price depends on day and time of departure.
I wanna go to Barcelona,Catalonia 😂
You should! Great city.
Aquí ❤ más mejor comprar de 10 viajes por 11.35€ puede utilizar de autobuses, tram vía, renfe, en zona . Más baratos I más económicos.
In BARCELONA YOU CAN BUY TICKETS, 11.35€ you can all the transport like bus , train, sub training or metro station.

How to avail the Barcelona card😅
I hope it worked for you!
Yes I want to go I did my dna test and found out Iam Spanish and basque on my father side Alarcon so I wana visit Spain I was born in Belize 🇧🇿 and have a us visa
Have a great time!
I wish you luck in your research!
great video, but the background music was a little monotenous and distracting.
Thank you for your feedback.
@@CORRTravel100% a scam
serious tone of narration though.....and monotonous...otherwise great information, tks!
Thank you.
Barcelona is not Costa Brava, Barcelona and Metropolitan área + 4 milions inhabitants, thanks.
Thank you for your feedback.
Keep your jewellery at home (no expensive watches plz) Or you get robbed
Thank you for your tip.
10 to 15 % tip😅😅😅😅
If you want to.... 😀
I am NOT; but the WATER is ................
?
I'm so sorry to hear you did not enjoy your trip. I hope this does not put you off in traveling to other destinations in Spain.
The music in the background of this video is highly annoying and distracting
Thank you for your feedback.
Of course. The video itself and info was really helpful but I kept getting distracted by the music loop.
@@Shmooop I'm pleased you liked the content and have duely noted your feedback. I thank you! Have a godo day.
Barcelona no esta en la Costa Brava. Nada que ver.
Si, lo siento. Just south of. :-)
this place is not safe city
Way too crowded.
Is IS Spain's second largest city and very popular! 😀
Well, it all depends on when you go. 😃
@@CORRTravel Too crowded, way too crowded, but maybe Denia would work.
They are being rude to tourists now. Cancel Barcelona.
Oh, goodness. I have heard this before, unfortunately. Would you care to share any specific examples of rudeness with the rest of us?
@@CORRTravel You don't watch the news?
@@mandibarcena6667 Nope. Listen to NPR and watch Portugal News. Haven't heard anything about Barcelona tourism, I'm afraid.
Full house. Please don't come, thanks!
Good luck with that. :-)
BesT things to do is TAkE HOP ON HOP OFF bus around all major sightseeing places of Barcelona !!
Yep, it's got 3 incredible routes to take. Very convenient.
