Cool to see you out of port fouchon and old hatchet island. This is my go to spot and the surrounding Islands in the summer, the next small island is also really productive with a popping cork and matrix shad or voodu shrimp. You will have to weed through lady fish and black tips and also large bill reds, but I Had plenty of solid limits out that way so far. But the popping cork is the best besides the swim and hard baits. A little longer run early in the morning to east timbalier island will also land some nice big trout on popping corks with soft plastics.
