    Nice work , I carry a chartreuse pen just for those occasions when a tail gets ripped off on soft plastic baits , hope y’all have fair weather all week over there , winds blowing up here in SE, La. Maybe later this week I can get back out there before they move outside, Good luck over there

    Even if you lose the last inch of the big Slick, it is still very usable so long as the nose isn’t shredded or wrecked. I’ve had trout hit it when abbreviated so long as the rigging holds it on the jig unless you’re using the Pure Flats 4/0 hook with the screw lock pin.
