@@lastcastadventuresFL Did go out there today, a few trout but no reds😡 Holy crap the oyster beds n rocks tore up my boat. Did go out in gulf about 1 1/2 miles, I only have a 16ft aluminum boat. Did get 3 flounder out there👌 But really shallow
@@lastcastadventuresFL I have been fishing all over in Florida, Cedar Key, Crystal River, Econfina, Tampa bay, Panama City and Ft Walton. All in all the best to me is Panama City and Lynn Haven. Yah boats OK but just scratched all over and may change props 😂😂 You get over to PC area give a shout 👍
Nice Bronzze Spot Tails on the fly & conventional tackle....That whole area has such great similarities to the Chazz....Got yourself a finntastic place to hang in the back country!!
Fly is always my preference if i can help it, but I've heard they are pretty similar to each other but I've never fished over where you do. I'll have to check it out sometime
Yes we did, they were big boys too! I think they were moving through to the Lanark area but I'm not sure. I wanna say it was to the west, but I'm not as familiar with the area honestly
My daughter hooked a nice tarpon at the jetties at St Mark's Lighthouse many years ago. We also saw several juvenile tarpon on the Wakulla River near the Shell Island Fish Camp marina.
Lots of tarpon there. In the river and on the flats. Go to Shell Island Fish Camp and look down off the fish cleaning station to see typically 5 to 10 that are 4-6 footers most anytime.
@@ReelGuyTv I certainly never said, or even suggested anything about fishing or catching tarpon around the fish cleaning station. I’ve been watching them for years. Our conversation on here was simply about whether there are many tarpon in this vicinity.
Was just here a couple of weeks ago. Always something different every cast. Enjoyed the video!
Ya no doubt it's a pretty great fishery! Appreciate it!
Good job dudes! October, November and December are some of the best times for inshore fishing at St Mark's.
Thanks! For sure! It'll be here before you know it haha
Great videos 👍 Headed down to St Marks this weekend to Shields Marina to launch
Thanks! Good luck out there, the big trout should be moving in!

You said you saw Tarpon? Dude I have never seen Tarpon out of St. Marks. But I usually go toward the St. Marks River. Where did you spot them?

Thanks! Should be heating up with trout from what I've heard, but I'll be working sadly. Hope you get on them! Good to know about Steinhatche
Are you up in the creeks of East river alongside lighthouse rd?
My buddy was driving the boat but I think it was the West side!
