Justin!!! Thanks for not editing out your reaction to getting frayed off. I always feel for the fish, feel for losing the lure/worm, and usually know I just missed the largest fish of the day.
great video play the drag a bit more with the big snook helps immensely with the fraying just keep your rod tip under water to avoid being cut off by branches

Dude I got them in last night and I like how dense they feel ! They don’t feel like the Zman’s and I honestly feel the way these will kick will have more of a thump to them and the dense feel have some kind of difference for the fish

I am good using a big bait and catching one good fish in a day out but with friends/family where we’re just looking to catch everything I think the 3” will be perfect

I live in the same "neighborhood" per say, and the grass has really been coming back here in Melbourne. Surprisingly so! I'm very hopeful. Long way to go of course, but in the 5 years I've been here, it's nice to see the improvement! :-)

NLBN have a very similar movement to old school Big Hammer lures; which isn’t a bad thing. I have to grab a couple bags soon.
New sub, been watching for like a few days but I gotta say I fucking love your editing and how engaging but calm your videos are. I go fishing with my friend that loves to go fishing as well and something I've learned and been showed is that snook have really sharp jaw bones like right under were you grabbed the fish and they fraid the line, probably as well as others but just saying what I know from experience 1:30
I have always used 8 pound braid and 15 pound fluorocarbon leader, but these things are so incredibly expensive. I’m thinking about bumping up to a 20 pound leader .
I use 15 braid and 20 leader

What kind of fishing line is that looks like spider I use braid on most of mine now lol that I have learned, I figured it all out now thanks to a friend of mine, I got the leader,braid,swivel,weights, hooks,lures,jigs everything I needed pretty much lol

I saw a gorilla pod, do you not find those to be the biggest piece of s**t ever? I had 2 of them and they were total CRAP after about 5 uses. The 2nd one was a free replacement, I called Joby and complained about how expensive but sh*t it was and they sent me another one. The cups crack and provide no tension in no time.

I have 6 lines of scars on my hand from grabbing a big snook and him shaking those plates against my knuckles. Ouch 😂
yeah I've never been cut by a snook. Only scuffed from grabbing them.

I mean you know what you’re are doing obvious, @twotonedfishing learned the hard way😅 as i did many years ago.
