The combination of their willingness to experiment and Christopher Dean’s groundbreaking choreography made for my most favorite ice dance program EVER!!
This extremely close brother/sister duo had an awesome, tight connection on the ice; because they were so in sync with each other, this helped them eventually become World Champions! Paul and Isabelle you were the BEST!

Mi-au lasat o puternica impresie, o amintire de neuitat desi au trecut de atunci 33 ani! Cei mai buni vreodata, patinaj înaintea vremii, chiar daca te uiti dupa 30 ani impresia este aceeasi, de atunci de la cei 2 frati Duchesnay si perechea Torvill si Dean nu am mai tinut nimic minte asemanator! MAGNIFIC, TALENT,MUNCA,GRATIE, CHARM,ÎTI LASA O IMPRESIE DE NESTERS,CHIAR CU TRECEREA TIMPULUI DANSUL RAMANE LA FEL DE PROASPAT DE ALERT SI ÎNCARCAT DE MISTER! INTR-UN CUVANT SUBLIM!!!!!

I agree! No hate to I and P, they are very talented Ice Dancers but at the end of the day Chris and Jayne just have this quality that surpasses everyone else. I guess it doesn't hurt that Chris choreographed this with Jayne's help.
I don't quite agree. Granted, the choreography came from Christopher, but the emotions, the charisma, the red dress which fit perfectly with the black hair - so somehow everything - Torvill & Dean could not have conveyed that despite technical strength.
Yes same music and some same moves sometimes but of course it was Chris Dean that invented the dance moves that these two used and why shouldn’t he use some of these again because they were so brilliant and innovative, these dance moves will probably excite an audience again in years to come hopefully.

They are so lucky that Chris’s helped them choreograph and honestly I love Jayne and chrises version much more but the dance is iconic
