I met Chris Roberts once. My friend took me to his house. They were filming The Nine Club there. I sat in the living room and watched them do their thing. This was in the very beginning. Back in 2017... I remember thinking it would take off the way that it has. He’s a really nice guy and I think the chemistry of that crew is exactly what is needed for a skateboarding podcast. It’s been cool watching the show prevail. I always loved his style.

It's funny that back when I watched this video as a kid it made me think that skaters don't often have much of interest to say. All these years later and Chris Roberts and the Nine Club showed me I was wrong about that, banal interviews in Transworld and Thrasher aside.
