I’ve barely touched a skateboard in like 8 years and this episode made me want to pick it back up.
31 this month and this show was my last straw that made me get my 1st complete deck. I stopped skating at 17.

The biggest sign of progress, success, and demand.. going from a 30 minute episode to 2+ hour episodes. You guys are the fucking staple of late night skate shows. Once you've ran out of first timers, PLEASE have revisits like Letterman or Leno cause skateboarding needs it. Don't know why it took so long to watch the 1st episode. I'm so glad I did tho, love to hear about Kelly's career & how it all shook out. I kinda knew a little bit before just from him being on the show of course but it was cool to hear how he talks about skating and the industry. He totally gets it, do it for the love put in the work & good things will happen. Always rooting for Kelly!!

@@happy2Cyou when they first started the podcast it was just roger and Chris, and since Kelly was Rogers Roomate. Kelly was always sitting just out of frame but you could hear his laugh. So Chris thought it would be a funny idea to put Kelly in the corner and the only way he could talk and be a part of the show is for Kelly to push the button. Hopefully that made sense to you. Lol

I think the episode is the earlier episodes like 15-20 I think. If you haven’t had the chance to watch the early episodes? It’s worth a binge watch. @@phill93 bro. A coaster is a thing you put under your drink so the condensation from the glass doesn't ruin the table. This is the first nine club episode. They weren't using coasters. Nowadays they used coasters... Was just kind of a joke on how nine club has grown so much... That's basically it

I used to listen to the pod’s when they came out on the website. I remember catching up on all the past episodes while I was putting up Christmas lights on my house. Before I was married and had a kid. That kid is already starting school. This is like looking at my wedding and baby pictures. Seems like a lifetime ago. The show is definitely already grown to be a fine young person

Im new to skateboarding after a ten year hiatus. I was a poser back then, not like a huge one but i never committed to the landings. Totally off topic, but i wondered how Kelly skated because i heard he was a pro from another interview. Ive never heard of him before, back when i was a kid doing my first try it was like pre-2000. Super impressed, i can say Kelly made his way up on my favorites list fast! I love the tech shit, flips into grinds, flips out of manuals etcetc. If you see this Kelly you got a dope ass style! Thanks 9 club for putting him in my path for me to find!

I LOVE IT SO MUCH, I've never done it for money, being in skating for over 14 years and it still didn't work out. I guess I just suck or something :-D But I hate going to job that means nothing to me. If I could be around skating, I would be on cloud 9! Well, we will see.
