Hello, i've a question. They sell a specific usb-c cable for the quest 2. For Pico 4, the usb-c cable is already with the Headset. My question is : Can we use any kind of USB-c cable for the Quest 2 or ONLY the one they sell with it ? (asking because you know why... expensive cable...) Thank you for your videos !

Hi yes u can but im not the specialist because the quest2 charging adapter(cable) has max output power 10W. The pico4 adapter has 20W(smartphone adapter much more). Maybe it’s not good for quest2 battery for long run. :)

I have both and I can tell you that the Pico 4 is way better. The only downside is the Pico store, because it lacks good games (most games on the store are outdated Quest 2 ports) and software. But if you want to use the Pico 4 for PCVR then definitely go for the Pico 4.

The thing is, when u take PCVR headsets out of the equation then the quest 2 is actually one of the most best headsets currently, and even when u compare to quite a lot of vr headsets then the quest 2 is still better at different expects or in total, the quest pro isn’t even for gaming either and is for work, the quest 3 is going to be the actual thing afterwards.

Hi, I've got a quest 2 and wonder if this one is better for gaming and performance? On quest some games lag a lot and I'm wondering to see if this has better performance. Sadly if it does I won't be able to get it since my money is out cause of the quest 2 😭

The pico 4 has a slower refresh rate, but better quality, fov and comfort (battery is in the back.) I'd recommend if you have a quest 2 to stick with it, you dont want to lose your games and the pico 4 is a pretty similar headset.

Sorry for late answer. When you play some games on the Quest 2 as a standalone device, they may experience lag. To address this, you can either connect it to a PC using a cable (you'll need a powerful PC to play games from platforms like Steam) or wait for the release of the Quest 3 later this year. Another option to consider is the PSVR 2, but keep in mind that you'll need a PlayStation 5 for that. However, there aren't as many games available for the PSVR 2 compared to the Quest 2. :)
