      Glad it worked for you. As far as I know, if your laptop is again start properly, windows update or other OS would be the first updates to check, then checking any updates for individual applications (apps) after the OS.

    From a Perspective of knowledge if you may know, won't this shorten the lifespan of the battery?

    • @TryAdaptLearn
      @TryAdaptLearn  Год назад +1

      As far as I know, it will not. This procedure is the equivalent of connecting and disconnecting the battery from a laptop. In my opinion, charging cycles and heat will likely have a greater on then affect the battery health.

      It may be good to have something long enough to reach the button/switch. You’ll have to feel it to know that you got it, it will not need a lot of force. You may want to turn things off around you to try to hear it. If it doesn’t reset you may have missed it. At that point you may want to have another person help you or take the laptop to a professional technician.

    • @TryAdaptLearn
      @TryAdaptLearn  Год назад +1

      In some hp laptops, the non removable battery reset procedure can be done by pressing and holding down the power button for 10-15 seconds, or the power button and another button. You may want to contact HP support. Removing the battery would likely require unscrewing the bottom of the laptop case and may void the warranty. As far as removal, so you may want to contact support and/or an authorized HP service department otherwise you would be doing so at your own risk.

    Occurring very frequently and doesn’t instantly turn on after the pin reset..it takes about 2-3 hours

    • @TryAdaptLearn
      @TryAdaptLearn  Год назад

      I don't know exactly what is occurring frequently but you may want to look into the health of your battery and if the laptop is plugged in when you first turn it on. If it takes a laptop 2 to 3 hours to turn on after the the battery reset maybe the battery itself doesn't have enough charge until 2 to 3 hours have passed. If there are problems continuing to happen you may want to contact product support on the manufacturers website.

    • @durgaprasad-vc6sv
      @durgaprasad-vc6sv Год назад

      @@TryAdaptLearn the problem of laptop not turning on is occurring very frequently. Yes, it takes 2hours at least to turn on after the reset. The service center is quoting 10K (120 USD) for battery replacement. The laptop is just 2 years old, and the full charge doesn't even last for 2 hours.

    Will i lose data if i do this

    • @TryAdaptLearn
      @TryAdaptLearn  Год назад +1

      This process is similar to unplugging the power supply from the wall and removing the battery. My best guess is that if the computer was properly shut down then you sill not loose data. I do not know what would happen if the battery power was disconnected while in the process of a windows update.

    how to know if it worked?

    • @TryAdaptLearn
      @TryAdaptLearn  Год назад +2

      Good question. You’ll know it worked because after you have completed the process, you can wait about 15-30 seconds, start the laptop with the proper procedure and the laptop should power on. This reset process assumes that although you battery may be low, the battery itself is still able to function properly and yiu have the proper ac adapter for your laptop.

    My laptop doesnt have this hole
    And it doesnt charge at all

    • @TryAdaptLearn
      @TryAdaptLearn  Год назад +1

      If your laptop is able to power on through a cord, now is a good time to back up all of your data. You should contact the laptop manufacturer for recommendations in which they will still honor the warranty of the laptop. If the battery is unable to charge, it may need to be tested and/or replaced. If your laptop doesn’t not have a removable battery cover or doesn’t have anything preinstalled to reset the battery it may need to be removed by a professional technician or company. The removal process will like require the laptop to be disassembled from the bottom of the laptop to access the battery.

    My laptop charging light remains always on . After shutdown its also on please help me

    • @TryAdaptLearn
      @TryAdaptLearn  Год назад +1

      You may want to take the laptop to a professional technician and/or contact the laptop manufacturer directly. That being written, here are my opinions on why a laptop changing light could be on. If your laptop light remains on after shutdown, your laptop may be charging the battery after shutdown. If your laptop light remains on, it may be doing so because it is plugged in to an electrical receptacle/wall outlet. If your laptop light remains on while unplugged to from the wall, the laptop may be in a sleep/hibernation mode and not completely shut down. The laptop charge light may also be the laptop power light and/or indicator light for things other than charging.

      i’m currently still using mine and after 1 year the screen has stopped working due to the hinge busting it’s way out of the casing (a common issue for msi laptops) and the keyboard rendered less than useless as it now constantly types the number 2. don’t ask me why, but i managed to work around all these issues but i may as well have bought a normal computer and not a laptop.

    • @TryAdaptLearn
      @TryAdaptLearn  Год назад +1

      Without looking at the laptop it sounds as if there is an issue with the charging system or more likely with the battery itself. If you have reset/disconnected the battery and it still does not charge, the battery may need to be replaced. It may be best to contact MSI directly especially if the laptop might still be covered under warranty. MSI may be able to help you troubleshoot your issue, recommend a service department and/or any part numbers if needed.

      A laptop not charging could have multiple reasons including the current condition of battery and/or possible issues with the charger. You may want to take the laptop and charger to a professional technician and/or contact the manufacturer for possible solutions as to why your laptop battery does not charge.

      drain the battery, if it's removable (remove the battery, press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds, reinsert the battery, turn on the laptop), if non-removable (follow the video above)

    • @TryAdaptLearn
      @TryAdaptLearn  Год назад +1

      Possibly the battery has enough energy to light the button but nothing else. Maybe the computer is hung up in the boot, working, sleep and/or shut down process. The come regarding draining the battery may be helpful.

      Sorry to hear about your situation. If the battery is inaccessible without a specific cover over the battery, and has no pin hole like this, usually the only way to access the battery is to take the screws out of the bottom open the laptop from the bottom. Unfortunately opening the laptop will likely void your warranty. Before you do anything maybe get a second opinion from a laptop technician or email the manufacturer directly for any ideas thry may have to help you resolve the issue with your laptop. Good luck.
