Hi Howard ! I lived in Danbury Too ! Used to work at Marcus Dairy and other businesses in the area. Still in Ct.......Love your tiny house.......I have been looking at mobile homes.

I love the idea of one floor living in a tiny house. Over 60 who wants to get up in the middle of the night and climb down a ladder to go to the bathroom (not me). I love almost everything in this tiny house. As a woman, that washier/dryer combo wouldn't work for me and neither would the induction stove. I'd go with the gas, and I'd have more counter space. Even so, I realize you did what you're happy with and that's what matters. It's probably a good thing that you get blinded by the sun at a certain time of the day at your computer desk! LOL... makes you stand up or go find something else to do for a while. I wish you all the best. You have a great little home! xo
This is one of the best tiny house videos ever. No one ever talks about the journey. Everything about Howard is appealing as he is not afraid of change and willing to learn and grow. For those of us with a mortgage long ago paid off and considering downsizing, this is useful. Thank you for sharing.

I think his stress over building his tiny home is because he has so many skills and knows exactly what he wants once he sees it. Some people are more content to work with a builder on a basic design, choose materials and colors and let the builders do the rest. I liked his clean white and wood aesthetic! Honestly, I was surprised to see such a great looking tiny home for a bachelor. The outside artwork was a nice touch! And last, he commented jokingly on being in bed a lot later... my cautionary tale: don't!!! "Motion is lotion", my doctor told me. The more you lie down, the more you atrophy. “You can never get ENOUGH BASS❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ Howard, I am in total agreement with you about music! (& particularly Bass)!! are used to be a musician for almost 10 years, and I have never lost the love of music and to me, and Howard, you need more bass to feel the music literally as yet shakes and rocks your home😊❣️❣️ Howard, I am totally amazed by your tiny house and the way you personalized it from one end to the other. I have been wanting to move to a. Tiny house for sometime and seeing your video. Made me know why I’ve been wanting to consider it but also the wonderful advice you gave us in terms of doing in the research about your builders, watching a lot of videos before you build, and talk to people who are living in tiny homes, etc. All of that is great advice, and even the part about the importance of plants in your home. I think a lot of people think you have them just because you love plants, but you’re absolutely right in terms of it purifying the air, & much more. Also, Howard, I am so impressed with the technology you have taught yourself.❣️❣️ I jointly owned a business with my husband & he kept living in the “dark ages “in terms of wanting to write paper apps, etc. versus learning the computer. I love education and I’ve been to college three times and my grandmother told me when I was 16 that every day you have an opportunity to learn something new! And I have tried to live by that motto. But you have encouraged me to keep learning more technology beyond my comfort zone. Also, I never thought about having a convertible bed such as yours for a tiny home, other than the typical couch to bed pull out system, but yours is so much better and that would help . me out with my health very much. I like to have my head up when I’m sleeping so that I can breeze easier as I am an asthmatic. I really appreciated you demonstrating how the bed works as it can actually fit in a tiny home. It’s been some time since I’ve looked at bedding for a tiny home, and I’m so glad I saw your video! I also love it that you are gardening with your raised bed. There’s nothing like homegrown food, and I’m very excited to see you were also sinking off of your health… Not only by growing your own food, but all the exercising opportunities you have created for yourself both indoors and outdoors.!! you are truly an amazing man Howard and I love the fact that you smile a lot and that you educate yourself and you take care of your health. You would never guess you were 60 years old.♥️ Thank you for making this video for all of us and also to teach us why you would want to have or not have different features in your home. I am very grateful for this video, and will be saving it for future reference.
Howard, you made absolutely the right decision. You may have a nice quality of life going forward for the choices you've made. I'm researching where to place a tiny home. That's the most difficult decision I'm facing before I can pull the trigger on downsizing at 67.
Like the tiny house, not as I would have stuff or do but for him its awesome! the older we get the tinier and easier to take take of is the right kind of home!
you can definitely do it cheaper if you can do most of the work yourself, or hire your own workers, as well as a plumber and a electrician. I estimated $75,000.00 to build it myself.
Howard I really enjoyed your video! I like your tiny house and I love the artwork on it! And I enjoy listening to the radio without apartment neighbors complaining to the office also!
I love this house and the owner's style of presenting it. A dream house for so many of us. Some more art work of the owner's taste might enhance further and please keep the door to the loo closed when you're living there. It's a lovely loo, but still...
Thank you for sharing this lovely home! I think the two cooktops is an excellent idea that I have not seen done before! Congrats, enjoy your home sweet home!
If he were ready to sell it…I would buy it straight away! I loved everything about it! I was wondering if I can come and visit the community/neighborhood
This is awesome. Howard, your home is creative and wonderful! I'm happy to see that there are all kinds of tiny homes in the village you live in. We haven't reached that level of community here, yet, in my part of Texas. My tiny home is an RV because it's so hard to find a place to park a tiny home. I've been living tiny in an RV park (within the city limits) for 5 years now. I'm 73, and still work as a theatrical costume designer. I've made my RV into a tiny home with conventional furniture, etc. This lifestyle is fantastic. Thanks so much for the tour!
Wow! What a Beautiful home and space to live in. It is the nicest outside of a tiny house I have seen, with the art work just lovely. It’s so nicely decorated inside as well. Happy Home for sure.😀🏠

Hello, I forgot your name but I am sorry you lost your dad. It was a blessing for you to yake care of him. I like your tiny house it is very nice. You built it the eay you eanted it. I am glad you like gardening. This gives you a little something extra to do growing your own food. Itbis nice and clean. You have provided so great information in reference to t😊he tiny house.
Love the reclining bed; perfect for your set up. You can make a piece of art to fit over the electrical panel easy peasy if you want. Create a frame that’s slightly taller (I see the brackets and know you can’t widen the frame). Then go to a decent fabric store. Check out the hand dyed fabrics-people create beautiful cloth. Maybe you can find one that has some of that vanilla color you seem to want to surround yourself with. Cut and stretch and staple to back of frame; put two tiny nails above the corners of the panel and hang your frame. It’s easily removed when you need to access the panel. Did this with a very tall panel in one of the bedrooms in my home that was used as a home office. No piece of art was going to work as it sat between a wall and a window and was an odd size. So I was forced to be creative and make my own… I’m no artist, but cloth makers are. Panels like this with some padding on the back can also be used when living in a large home to soften the sound where a person wants a minimal look but finds they have too much echo.

We now are very fortunate to hire other shooters & editor to help us, who we pay very well. We are not rolling in dough. But we do hope one day to offer all our subjects financial compensation. But again the folks we feature willingly do so for the reasons stated above.
“You can never get ENOUGH BASS❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ Howard, I am in total agreement with you about music! (& particularly Bass)!! are used to be a musician for almost 10 years, and I have never lost the love of music and to me, and Howard, you need more bass to feel the music literally as yet shakes and rocks your home😊❣️❣️
Howard, I am totally amazed by your tiny house and the way you personalized it from one end to the other.
Also, Howard, I am so impressed with the technology you have taught yourself.❣️❣️
I jointly owned a business with my husband & he kept living in the “dark ages “in terms of wanting to write paper apps, etc. versus learning the computer.
You would never guess you were 60 years old.♥️
Thank you for making this video for all of us and also to teach us why you would want to have or not have different features in your home. I am very grateful for this video, and will be saving it for future reference.
It feels great to finally play my music high volume with lots of bass, it's so awesome.
You know Howard is really neat his ideas were good with his builder .Good job love it all the best Howard .
Perfect! This would be a favorite of all I've seen, but I definitely wouldn't want to spend that much. Perhaps a simpler version 😊😊
Happy to hear it! It feels so good to see a design that resonates with you 😊
you can definitely do it cheaper if you can do most of the work yourself, or hire your own workers, as well as a plumber and a electrician. I estimated $75,000.00 to build it myself.
Howard I really enjoyed your video! I like your tiny house and I love the artwork on it! And I enjoy listening to the radio without apartment neighbors complaining to the office also!
Yay!!! It’s a good day 😊. Can’t wait to watch!!
Nice to see you again Erin; hope you dig it! 😄
Great tour!! 💜 This gentleman is Very likable and his Smile is top tier.
I love this house and the owner's style of presenting it. A dream house for so many of us. Some more art work of the owner's taste might enhance further and please keep the door to the loo closed when you're living there. It's a lovely loo, but still...
😅😂
I will be adding some artwork I have in storage, can't wait. About the door to the loo, I leave it open and I only close it when company is visiting.
Thanks for sharing Howard.
It’s beautiful
Thank you for sharing this lovely home! I think the two cooktops is an excellent idea that I have not seen done before! Congrats, enjoy your home sweet home!
Beautiful art work
Love your home. What a blessing you were to your dad. Bless you. Happy for you. Being 60 I appreciate your ideas.
If he were ready to sell it…I would buy it straight away! I loved everything about it! I was wondering if I can come and visit the community/neighborhood
you can visit anytime. I have already talk to a few people who were just driving through.
Thanks for watching!
Wow!! Beautiful! Love your tiny. God bless you 🥰

I’m 59 and love your youthful energy. I’m in the planning phase of my THOW right now. I wonder which Tennessee company subcontracted out your build.
He worked with tinyhousechattanooga.com :/
@@TinyHouseExpedition thank you. I never even thought to ask if a company was going to subcontract out the work. Yikes.
He seems like such a nice, cool guy. I hope the rest of his endeavors are better experiences than the hiccups he dealt with getting his home.
The Incredible Tiny Homes in Newport Tennesse has good videos and is building tiny homes and they have a community where you can live there. They look good.
@@shariwelch9573 yes, I know about them. My father was an architect/developer and I’m not a fan.
Man, this guy is fantastic!! He’s soo sweet and kind, he’s made his father proud! I love that he sold his condo and started this journey!! ❤
Lol, I love the base..can't get enough.😊

Hello, I forgot your name but I am sorry you lost your dad. It was a blessing for you to yake care of him. I like your tiny house it is very nice. You built it the eay you eanted it. I am glad you like gardening. This gives you a little something extra to do growing your own food. Itbis nice and clean. You have provided so great information in reference to t😊he tiny house.
Very beautiful
Thank you so much! Love your insight and Tiny House.
💕
Very practical house
Great idea; thank you for sharing!
I do have some artwork in storage, I will see what fits. Thanks for the idea.
