This has to be one of the nicest tiny houses I have seen. So open and well lit. I love the bedroom on the main floor. I would not want to climb a ladder to sleep either. Her kitchen is actually larger than mine. Love the bathroom, her office setup, the living room, just everything. And the way that she has accommodated her beautiful cat is just perfect.
Doors to close in the bedroom when needed would make it complete (for us). Such a huge plus to be able to expand to 15’! May she get many years of happiness in her home.

I really like this house. I could see myself living there. I love all the cabinet space in the kitchen. I love that the bedroom is on the ground floor and I like the separation between the bedroom and living area.

Thanks for the tour of Tubby’s pad! Slide-out tinies are less common, so it’s really interesting to see one in use. Living ‘not-so-tiny’ in a spacious slide-out tiny house is a brilliant solution for an archaeologist whose profession calls for occasional relocation. It was interesting to learn about her storage and winterizing solutions too. What an inspiring individual; we appreciate her willingness to invite us in. This is a first to view- a tiny home with two slides - very nice, and I hope to see more of them in the future. This is such a smart idea along with the murphy bed and the ikea sofa bed! Having a full size bed on the main level along with a beautiful and efficient large kitchen and bathroom is so doable because of the slide outs! Also, the center wall is very nice along with the high transom windows. The owner understands order and convenience and did a super job at getting everything to work together - even a full size fridge, and a nice work area!
Without a doubt this is my very favorite tiny house video, the house, the woman who lives there's presentation. Really nice. I've looked at so many videos and read so much about it. Personally speaking, this is the best! : )

Her smile of satisfaction when she said she doesn’t have to climb down stairs from a loft - her home is practical and very comfortable for having a downstair bedroom. I always appreciate pop up design, a pop up width or pop up head to have standing height in the loft. We also can see her care for her cat, Tubby when designing the house.

Lindsay, well done! I’ve watched a few tiny home channels, and prob hundreds of videos; I have NEVER seen a layout like yours, it is well thought out and comfortable. I agree with you, a taller kitchen window above the sink would be more ideal. I’ve never had a window over the kitchen sink in any of the homes we’ve had. It is on my NO bargain list for my “rest of our lives” tiny home. We are looking for a long term property as well. I love this tiny home. And I love that it was built in Canada! I will be looking into that tiny home builder. I love the pop out sides, they really do give that home extra space and for me the main floor bed is a must have so that awesome. The heavy duty insulation for Canadian winters is also a great must have for me. The kitchen is a perfect size. There is so much I love about this tiny! This tiny house is so spacious, more like a regular house. I have never seen a tiny house that would fit a cat tree that large and I totally love how big the kitchen is. Just love it.❤

I am a single adult approaching 60. All through my adult life and going back to graduate school for my PhD in my 40's, I always had roommates. Only rarely did I choose a roommate who was not quite a fit, but I met my best friend that way, and largely, they were stupendous fun--I would miss them. Also, it's just someone to call if your car breaks down! So having roommates is the one thing I would actually MISS in tiny home living.
Loved this layout and tour. So much natural lighting and spaciousness. It was also interesting to hear about her experiences with financing and locating space for her tiny.
Thisis one of the best tiny houses I have seen & I've seen many. It's a hobby just to look at them . I love how she provides for her sweet cat who seems very happy & content. It felt very spacious & has everything she may need.

What a beautiful house, is does not feel cramped, The pop up spaces feel spacious and the sliding wall for the bedroom just briljant! I love the kitchen on the short side of the house, the murphy bed and the lack of ugly stairs with storage space.

This is the best floor plan I've seen in a tiny house! Well done!!! I can't believe between the hide a bed, bedroom bed, and the possibility for a bed in the loft, you have so much room for company. The kitchen/office area is huge. This house is so beautiful!
Zero Squad did a wonderful floor plan - looks great on the outside and practical for moving as well. I too would change the kitchen window and get one that opens. And the windows in the living room are small. I prefer larger especially if you plan to buy land. RV Parks - no need for windows all you see is your neighbors and nice to have privacy. My RV neighbors were not helpful at all when I lived in my RV. So do not rely on neighbors - not everyone is thoughtful or helpful.

I’m so much more inspired by humans who chose to live in these tiny homes. I think that society would thrive better with more tiny homes instead of huge mansions. We are working on getting there. We downsized to a 1475 sq ft home, but it’s my goal, and working still on convincing my hubby, to eventually, soon, move into a tiny home. Yep, finding a place where we want to settle down, but that also allows us to have a tiny home on it, is what’s keeping us from doing this right now. I’m hoping more states/counties/ towns and cities, will allow this.

Really would like to know what it cost to transport from Canada, to Colorado? The price of this home seems way more reasonable than most I've looked at. Hard to imagine forking out over 100,000.00 for something under 400 sq feet. This one seems well worth the money.

This would be perfect but for the wall in the center. I would use a temporary folding type of divider so the during the day the space would be wide open, it would be much more spacious that way.
I believe the center wall is required for structural strength to make up for the large openings in the outer walls for the slide-outs. Maybe there is a way to replace the center wall with strong metal floor to ceiling posts. Then you can add your idea: folding dividers in between them.

Love your tiny house. Seems bump outs have sorted out many problems found in conventional tiny house builds. Layout feels perfect. Getting a loan on a quality tiny house that well built and insured against misadventures is a great investment I believe.
Slide outside are something I've had in the back of my mind for quite a while. This is the first tiny home I've seen with them. Congrats on the home, the loan, & the space you found. It's all Good.

I’m so much more inspired by humans who chose to live in these tiny homes. I think that society would thrive better with more tiny homes instead of huge mansions. We are working on getting there.
We downsized to a 1475 sq ft home, but it’s my goal, and working still on convincing my hubby, to eventually, soon, move into a tiny home.
Yep, finding a place where we want to settle down, but that also allows us to have a tiny home on it, is what’s keeping us from doing this right now. I’m hoping more states/counties/ towns and cities, will allow this.

Tiny houses are the future of housing. Love this one I would one eighty the wall though so the bedroom is behind the wall hidden from public view a bit more but she has done an excellent job non the less great appreciation from Melbourne Australia

Love how you have incorporated Tubby into your house! I have seen some tiny house cat owners put in extra fans where the litter box is located. Glad to know that may not really be necessary.

I Wouldn't Mind Living That Little Home!
Really would like to know what it cost to transport from Canada, to Colorado? The price of this home seems way more reasonable than most I've looked at. Hard to imagine forking out over 100,000.00 for something under 400 sq feet.
This one seems well worth the money.

Very comprehensive, covering different roofing materials, siding, etc.

This would be perfect but for the wall in the center. I would use a temporary folding type of divider so the during the day the space would be wide open, it would be much more spacious that way.
That’s a good idea! Although you would lose the wall entertainment center/wall storage space in living room
I believe the center wall is required for structural strength to make up for the large openings in the outer walls for the slide-outs. Maybe there is a way to replace the center wall with strong metal floor to ceiling posts. Then you can add your idea: folding dividers in between them.

Love your tiny house. Seems bump outs have sorted out many problems found in conventional tiny house builds. Layout feels perfect. Getting a loan on a quality tiny house that well built and insured against misadventures is a great investment I believe.
Slide outside are something I've had in the back of my mind for quite a while. This is the first tiny home I've seen with them. Congrats on the home, the loan, & the space you found. It's all Good.
