Where is the option to choose the kind of padding you want inside the glove? I only see where you can choose the oz of the glove and whether or not you want an attached or unattached thumb
You have to contact them by email/ their social media account to let them know you want different padding. From there Muhammad can make sure to make the gloves to your specs
Just ordered the velcro version in 14 oz. Thnx for the tip about the too soft filling, I ordered the dense three layered filling. Should be mine in eight weeks. Great review, grtz, Victor, Netherlands.
Thinking about getting a pair of custom Win1 Top Boxer gloves since they're the same price as the Sabas Pro Series I was looking at do you think that's a worthwhile investment over the pro series gloves? Worth noting I presently own a pair of super soft.
Carlo, off topic on these gloves but I bought a pair of those 16oz Philippines edition twins gloves. How long did it take you to break them in? I plan on using them for both boxing and Muay Thai
About 2 weeks of going to the gym every day. The leather relaxed a little bit and the foam started to soften up after that amount of time, but I’d say 10 training sessions all with heavy bag mitts some sparring
@@csquaredboxing I am going to try your suggestion of putting the towel in the gloves to loosen them up. I just got mine today. They are tight on the bare hands; there's no way I could put them on over hand wraps.
are these good for sparring? my coach says its not good for sparring because theres not enough padding in it? i didnt order any special padding for it, just the normal one that comes with it
Are those really like the same stuff that ali wore? If i watch old vids of him it looks like they have less padding because he can open his hands when he wears gloves
These versions I received are way too soft for the heavy bag, good for sparring, not for heavy bag or mitts. Thankfully you can change the padding composition if you request it from Top Boxer. Used them on the heavy bag for less than a round and they werent the best for that type of work.
@@csquaredboxing Hi, I wonder if you have any advice about this situation. How is Topboxer to deal with for customer service? I ordered 2 pairs of the Old School Boxing Gloves. I dropped $240.00 for the two pairs. Today, I got my shipment from them but it was only one pair! I have emailed their customer support. I hope they make this right.
Absolutely brother, I've actually been horrible at getting sparring footage mainly because I jump in there at the spur of the moment and don't have a chance to set up my camera to capture. I have some older videos on this channel of some sparring and a smoker I did a while back as well.
csquaredboxing yeah, bro, I ordered a pair of haymaker gloves which turned out to be a disaster. They told me gloves would be shipped in 21 business days, but in fact they shipped my gloves after ten weeks, and shipping info was finally provided 2 weeks later after shipment under my constant requests. And what was worse, gloves came with cuts! I posted the pics of the cuts to haymaker, they were arrogant enough to say cuts were not bad enough and I gotta pay all postage fee if I want to exchange. And no apology to me, I will never buy from haymaker again!
I've had Shevlin and Flores gear. Top Boxer's stuff really doesn't compare. The old school gloves and the cup I got from Top Boxer are basically sitting on display waiting for an autograph. I would avoid if you're serious about training at all.
@@csquaredboxing What do you mean, "no"? You just gave those gloves a great review and now you're saying you would not wear them in training. What are you understanding by "training"? You said they were "good for sparring." I don't understand this comment. Thanks.
These gloves are trash. Not leather, the padding could be used for sparring but your sparring partner will hate you, they just feel cheap. More like a decorative glove
Can you do a vid where you hit the bag with these?
I thought u was holdin a 30lb lobster claw
Lmfao damn now I’m craving some king crab in some butter 🤤
They have a decent price point, I might grab a pair. Good review
Thanks!
It's the Michelin Man glove
They look like it!
Just got my 16oz custom old school gloves with a navy blue color and attached thumb.
Absolutely love the gloves look and feel awesome.
Nice man! Glad they worked out for you
Are they big gloves?
@@mandeepsinghfilms yes they are big but not in the same way gloves like Gil are big
@@timonidas4534 I ordered the 14oz, I like the size. They're big gloves so I can imagine how 16oz would be.

Love the review! I want the biggest glove I can get, so I’m thinking of going for 18 oz (I’m 230 lbs). Can’t wait!
👍🏼🥊
Can you show us a bag workout with that glove thanks
Are these still legal in competition
Damn these look dope 🔥
Yes they’re great gloves especially for those that want that old school look!

Do you recommend 14 or 16 oz? My wrist/hands are small

I think its a good choice as the quality is excellent and the padding is well balanced, I like them more than the supersoft as well.
@@csquaredboxing thanks for the reply. Feeling firm in my decision now. Appreciate it.
No problem
Carlos can I use this type of glove for sparring ?
Nice 👍👍
which kind of padding/foam would u recommend, for them being avaible to spar with?
Multi layer foam with latex
@@csquaredboxing thx m8
Hey Carlos is it too padded, like does it press against the back of your hand?
Really beautiful

They are beautiful 👍
Agreed!
Have you tried the flores inspired flores gloves ?
Not yet

I think they are well padded, just awkward fitting
How do these compare to cleto reyes
Completely different gloves, these are like pillows, use different leather and feel different on the inside altogether
Might be decent for Muay Thai eh? It looks to have good padding on the back of the hand and the detached thumb would probably be good for clinching.
Not too bad but the hand compartment I mine are too snug and awkward
@@csquaredboxing Is that after you broke them in?

Or maybe I should ask would these be anywhere near say your top 5 in regards to choice of gloves for sparring?
They’re decent because of the padding but they’re not very ergonomic

Well the 50's gloves from Marciano's day where 8 oz, where in Dempsey's day they where 6 oz.
