Been boxing for a few years ago and have been using an old cheap pair of title velcro gloves. Been researching alot of eventually upgrade to a higher quality reasonable price brand, looks like I found it. Not a fan of the high embroidery (to each his own, I like subtle minimal design) but everything is dope on their website. Thanks for this review!!
Thanks! Yeah the embroidery is really cool and is done nicely. No “stock” Ippo versions, but knowing Muhammad, he could whip up something custom no problem
@@thatonespaceyman299 they're great. No issues. I do have 3 pairs of gloves and I switch up about every 3-4 months, which makes them last longer. I've had these for a year
UK here. I'm curious about these gloves that you can really only get in the States for its intended price point. I am trying to decide between these Top Boxer Win1's and Ring to Cage C-17 2.0's. In your opinion, which do you think is better? After shipping, taxes, customs, etc. Both of these will be far off price point. But I'm trying to try different gloves for fun and maybe experience a future Grant-esq type of rise (extremely doubtful) As my AIBA time is long gone, I find trying new gear is a great motivator for me. So what do you think? R2C C17's or TB Win1's? I know you've already said you prefer the TB's but in my circumstance, does that change? I'm going to use these for everything training wise (full spar, punch bag, mitts etc). I'm 130-140lbs (still have unsanctioned competitive bouts at my club with mates or in my clan (I'm a Traveller/gypsy)). I've broken my hands a few times but have no hand issues (pain/sensitivity). I usually use Reyes or Necalli 14oz lace ups or on occasion, Winning MS500's, since I finished AIBA competition. With both of these being Winning inspired, I know they're a wider profile but typically thin with good padding. I don't want something excessively wide but more importantly I don't want something excessively thick. (I know this is a bit of a contradiction considering these are Winning inspired). I know Mexican Fuerte Ultras are considered the best by most in this category but the velcro only is a no go area for me. Also, I spent that allotted cash on Fly's. Sorry about the lengthy comment, it's just that I've never seen anyone in my area with either of these. I would go Top Boxer, but they look very thick and R2C has changed their lining to resolve those bunching issues. Also, R2C look thinner, but wider. I hate excessively wide and thick gloves because the width gives you a false defense and the excess width and thickness doesn't give you appropriate feedback on your punches as they won't get past a guard when in reality they would. Thanks for reading this and any input from anyone who's used both would be greatly appreciated. I would just buy both simultaneously but I'd rather not spend around 200£ on an experiment.
Are the 14oz gloves protective enough to use for mainly hitting pads and drilling and occasional light sparing if I have a 16oz pair for harder sparing?
Hey Carlo, great review. I cant decide between a Top Boxer custom Win1 glove or the Punch Fuerte ultra. They'll be used for heavy and aqua bag and sparring. Your opinion would be much appreciated! 👍
Just got the Maroon Win1s in 16oz. Oddly they were 18oz on the scale. Otherwise though, they’re beautiful gloves and super comfortable to slam the heavy bag with.
That’s good to hear man, definitely weird they’re off by that much weight wise. At least they’re comfortable and perform well which at the end of the day is what matters.
Infinitude Harrier custom gloves or these pair of gloves. Also what is your experience with heavier gloves. I started using 18 and I prefer them over the 16 oz gloves, so I don't know if I should venture up to bigger gloves. Thank you, always great content videos, keep being amazing.
I like the win 1s, glove size is totally subjective, some people like the larger/ heavier gloves for conditioning and protection, some like smaller compact gloves
Thanks man. Different padding than t3, more protective and less bouncy. Wrist support on T3 is better because of the dual closure. Prefer genuine leather over the synthetic in the T3
how would you rank these between cleto reyes, grant, and everlast gloves? im looking in getting a new pair of gloves w more hand protection and wrist support for bagwork
Excellent review! The Grant and Russian Boxer gloves are a bit expensive for me just for training. So I am looking at the Win1 vs. the Combatiente. Both are similarly priced. Would you recommend one over the other?
Hey Carlo, I've been binging your reviews and am now subbed. I ordered the Win1 14 Oz for general gym work. Do you have a recommendation for a good boxing shoe?
How's the leather quality on these? I have the Everlast MX Training Gloves and I absolutely love the thickness and quality of the leather, but unfortunately the tip of my thumb gets jammed in them. Not expecting them to be on an even level considering the retail price difference, but how do they compare?
csquaredboxing thanks man! Any specifics as to why? Ive had a pair of C17s for a few years and they've treated me well but I've been considering these for a while now.
Quality wise they are just as good, they are slightly larger in profile compared to the fly, and the padding is a little more protective where as the fly has a little better feedback and pop
Great video. If you were looking for a replacement intermediate glove and money was no concern would you get these gloves or would you spend a little more and get the cleto reyes hoop and loop training gloves? I have went through like 4 pairs of everlasts and I want to buy something that will last me significantly longer aswell as have a little more protection. If you have any other recommendations I would be open to that aswell. I am looking for something to use primarily for training with bags and mitts opposed to sparring.
Hey Carlo, I watched your video on how to maintain gloves and I’ve been planning on ordering a pair of custom Win1s. Regarding the stitching custom design on the back of the hand, do you clean them the same way or differently? How do you clean your Win1s? Thanks 🙏

Hey Carlo, love the review. I'm planning on getting a pair for sparring but I can't choose between 14oz or 16oz. I trust your recommendation. I'm 5'3" and 115 pounds.
I might be the only person who has quality issues with top boxer. I’ve had the win1 and the alien and both times one glove would be amazing and the other was uncomfortable rather it be the thumb stitching being too tight or the top being too curved making my fist landing on an angle. Such a shame because they are so good looking and the glove that is comfortable is the best feeling gloves I’ve tried

I’ve ordered custom from him before. Basically for his winning clones (these ones) all gloves 8-14oz have a firmer more winning like padding where all gloves 16oz+ have a much softer foam that’s great for sparing but I really wouldn’t use for general training. You can also request any type of padding if you get custom though so if you want the firmer padding in a 16oz he would do that. His custom gloves start at $150 including free shipping and embroidery. Can get more expensive if you use certain exotic colors he has or request some more extra padding designs. You can either email him or check out his website Topboxer.com which has a custom form to fill out with a ton of information if I missed anything.
