Dont leave those gloves laying around bro, someone will take them like they took your furniture
Lmao!! 😆
hahahahaha! no doubt, i keep a close eye on these.
@@expertboxing hahaha
I own 2 pair of custom TopBoxer’s. 1 20oz pair of Alien lace ups with welted seams and the other pair a 20oz Win1 lace ups with welted seams. These are my favorite gloves and I own Reyes, Rival and Winning. He took my mental impressions and brought them to life in the most fantastic and comfortable gloves I own. They are different in profile and padding but are head and shoulders better than any gloves I have ever owned. The leather is plush and durable. The padding is soft and protective on the Win1. The padding on the Alien is firm and you can transfer kinetic energy through the striking knuckles. Both are the most comfortable gloves I have ever worn. The only knock: they are so beautifully made that I don’t want to wear them out. But if you want to punch at the limits of your physical strength and not worry about cranking your wrist or tweaking a knuckle, these are the best gloves you’ll ever buy.
I agree 💯
Hearing lots of great things about the gloves, definitely going to snag a pair now. Appreciate you Bradley.
I have a 12oz Topboxer gloves and compared to my other 16oz gloves, Topboxer gives solid protection. I've been using the Topboxer for bags for more than a year, and the quality is still good, not any wear or tears.
nice! was your heavy bag expensive to ship?
@@expertboxingNah, I got a 70lbs bag from my local sporting goods. I can't do heavy bags these days since my gym and my boxing gym closed due to COVID :(
been waiting for this! thanks for the vid johnny!
glad you like it! lemme know if you get a pair
Very good, honest review, Irfan is the only Pakistani glove ill buy, I've had his alien gloves since they came out and they are my FAVORITE! I've had winning, everlast MX, everlast MX training 18 oz glovez, 18 oz powerlocks, 16 oz Boxeo, Rival super bag gloves, Hayabusa tokushu, and a bunch of title and ringside gloves.
I use cleto reyes 14oz for my bag and pad work, never had an issue with damaging hands. I really dislike using 16’s, especially as I don’t spar much anymore. Would you recommend getting a pair of 12oz aliens and 14oz win1’s? I think I’m going to order two regardless, but I’ve been seeing some reviews saying 14oz aliens feel bigger than normal 14’s. Thanks for any advice and nice review
Tight double stitching is due to having a real expensive servo sewing machine . Servo motors are smoother and more reliable . The thumbs are so much better than the usual molded foam gloves like RTC because he makes them separately. They are routed/molded. They are also made of harder foam. His custom price is pretty unreal at less than $179.
Thank you for this insight. Are you a maker?
@@expertboxing No. Just a glove fanatic. I've been collecting gloves since the 80's. I'm a custom wood turner , amateur machinist and jig designer.
very cool! one day i’ll be just like you! do you have old school ones too?
expertboxing he most likely does as he’s been doing it since the 80’s :)
that’s what i’m hoping for! cuz i got questions :)
should i get 12 oz or 14 oz ALIEN gloves? my very first boxing gloves were some adidas 12 oz... so im not quiet sure rn cuz the ALIENs are a littlie bigger in size
do the 14 oz win1s have decent pop on the bag and still soft enough for sparring ? also how have they held up ?
The stock ones are still over $100. I ordered a custom for $150. The MP model but replaced the white with silver and not logos .
How have those gloves been working?
Thumbnail: "My precious"
hahahahahahah!!!!
The golden-black ones looks beautiful (they goes really well with your shoes:))!
yes they do! :)
I have the black and gold win1 14’s, great gloves!
@@michaelnahum6782 are they overly large for a 14 oz or are they good
@@mannymartinezpasco8030 no they’re a decent size a bit bigger than my winning 14s ,bear in mind that the padding he uses in the 14s is different and much stiffer than the 16s, probably too stiff for sparring without a lot of breaking in, but they have great wrist support and make a great connect with pads and heavy bag.
Do you think these hold up to the winning gloves?
Those black and gold customs are beautiful! I have some stock 16oz TopBoxer Win 1's and I love how pillowy they are, really nice for doing heavy bag work. Great wrist support despite it being the velcro style. The thumb feels a bit too stiff and awkward for me, but hopefully with time it will break in more so it's more comfortable. Also the liner was a bit loose in the finger compartment, but doesn't really cause problems. For $110 you're getting a lot of quality compared to other gloves at the same price point.
oooh, can you link me to the ones you got? i want to see if i can spot the thumb issue from the photos
expertboxing Here’s the link: topboxer.com/collections/frontpage/products/green-win1-boxing-gloves
Really thinking about grabbing a pair of these. It was fun to watch you nerd out on the craftmanship of those gold gloves lol.
hahahahahha
let me know if you do get a pair
@@expertboxing I bit the bullet and went with 16 oz Alien gloves! I'm very excited to try out the hype for myself. They are replacing RDX Ego F7- Amazing first boxing glove, will probably still keep them in my rotation for sparring.
Oooooh, ok let me know it goes!
Have you ever tried infinitude gloves? If yes, how are these TB win1 compared to those? Thanks!
I haven’t tried Infinitude. Have you?
expertboxing not yet. I asked because they are the 2 companies that offer custom for a good price.
@@vanillaoud9861 infinitude customs are veryyyy very nice I’ve had them for 2 years pretty much everyday use and the only thing dirty or messed up is the laces
How long does a custom glove take for it to reach you? How long is the 1 to 1 guiding process?
I think 3-4 weeks.
Great review. good if you can do a heavybag routine with these sick gloves. Personally i havent had any gloves better than Top Boxer say Winnings or whatnot. But hey, they fit great, and feel great with each punch.
Yes, I have some videos...can post at some point. What kind of padding did you get yours with?
@@expertboxing i got the win1 gloves. it pops when you hit the bag. its compact inside the glove compartment as well.
Can you post a link to his website please.
Can you post a link to buy these?
I noticed that you were a tad bit sleepy on the review. Hoping that you can catch a couple zeez and push for more uploads!
oh man, i was so tired. forgetting my lines. i wanted to kill myself with every retake or dead battery interruptions. it's so hard to find quiet time when there's no noise.
Hello Johnny. Maybe you could do the video about preventing the injuries in boxing. I know that the boxing is a sport where you take a lots of punches, and injuries are common, and a part of this sport, but i am talking about preventing the injuries that are related with a bad technics and bad form, like - shoulders, neck, nuckles injuries - not the injuries taken by punches. Keep up the good work.
I’ve already made multiple videos on that. Just search “injury”.
Johny, Which one is better between topboxer and R2C ?
TopBoxer customs and R2C 16’s are pretty even. I might prefer TB one day but R2C the next.
Damn, that's high praise. I might get a custom pair in the future. Love the fact that he builds it around the customer's individual hand size.
yeah very personal 1-on-1 experience. very enjoyable
@@expertboxing Yeah, just bought one thanks to your review. Quick and easy too.
Can't wait to get these gloves. Getting the Dragonball Z gloves.
fun! let me know how it goes for you
Yu think the pacquiao gloves will last a lot ?
*checks expertboxing* Sweet! Johnny doesn't hate them, they're at least 8.5/10! Not that it matters to you, but I appreciate your glove snobbery! My Boons were EB approved!
How do these compare to fly or ring to cage gloves?
I prefer those other 2 more than TB stock gloves. But I do like TopBoxer customs.
Very awesome and thorough review johnny. I am still on the fence about getting some top boxer gloves or just stop playing around and buy some winnings. I read your very well-written and hilarious review about winning-USA Kazumichi. I was also wondering what was going on with their website and if they were legit too! So you captured what I was thinking about seeing if this route to purchase authentic winning gear was not a scam. I know this is a Too boxer review but I need a glove to last and I am looking at a 12 oz pair of winnings. I am also 230 pounds as well. But once I start seriously boxing again I will easily lose about 40 pounds. In your opinion should I just get the winnings because I can afford them or give top boxer a try? I know enough time hasn’t passed for you to know if TopBoxer is worth it quite yet, but I take your advice VERY serious. What are your thoughts?
i have 12 oz winnings but i’m 5,5 125lbs and they are like a little big so the general rule for the bigger people is higher ounce so i do recommend winning gloves but a 14-16 oz would fit you much better. I got mine of Kozuji
i dont think a 230lb should be wearing 12oz...but that's just me. TopBoxer are solid gloves and with the price so cheap, they're a safe bet and very smart/fun buy. try a pair and pick some fun customization options
Understood, I appreciate the advice so 16oz. It is! Thank you brother!
Also has Top Boxer improves the quality of the leather? For the price it’s hard not to buy a pair. I just picked up a pair of 1v1 from BUN. Even there stock gloves are 375+ but I read your revised 2020 boxing gloves review. So of course you know that.
Thank you Colin, I appreciate it!
I ordered the 16oz, hoping they still have a good pop on the heavy bag as well as good protection. Heard he does the padding differently on the 14oz and under gloves and 16oz and up are way more pillow like
the “pop” is very muffled so if that’s what you want....i probably wouldn’t recommend these gloves. or tell him to put denser foam with more feedback and it’ll give you the pop but a little less cushion
@@expertboxing I also want good knuckle protection so I might get the aliens later on to have two different options. Plus my heavy bag is hard as rocks so I might need the protection 🤷♂️ says I'll get them in 12 days so I guess I'll find out. Do you still use yours and if so are they still holding up?
I still use and love mine. They've held up well.
@@expertboxing sweet thanks for the reply
Do you recommend these for beginners
Sure, why not?
How would you compare these with Necalli/Casanova?
just different vibe. both are nice
Topboxer makes some awesome stuff. I love their custom work.
Glad you like him. What gloves did you get?
@@expertboxing I got custom Winning style gloves with laces. I even got a Cobra Kai design on the gloves.
damn, post a pic!
@@expertboxing Where can I send you the pic?
Are these the aliens or win1
and what about 3 years after ?i'm considering them
they're ok, not my favorite. the customs are better.
Nice review man you should review some Hayabusa gloves next
haha, if they decide to send me a pair. they wanted to like 2 years back but i warned them that i would be honest if i didn't like them and the line went quiet
I am getting some custom gloves for me and the wife from him and some win1 for my sons
nice!!! lemme know how you like’em
Do they still hold up?
yes they do but i have so many gloves that none get abused enough.....will update you more in time
How have these held up over time?
Haven't abused them enough. But they're more than nice enough for the price.
How have they held up
still look new after a year, feel the same as new
Wait 1 year this video came out a week ago
i had the gloves for almost one year already. i didn’t make the video until recently after i know for sure that it’s good
Oh thanks and keep up the good content and stay safe
I love your criticism on Pakistan manufactured product... It's only making us better if not the best in near times. Keep it coming and stay tuned. Thank you
Ya some racist that’s crazy
Hi expertboxing, thanks for the nice review. I think you like twins. I would like to know which one is better between twins and topboxing. I would like to buy one of them. My main propose is mitt training.
for mitt training, it really don’t matter so much. pick whichever
@@expertboxing I see. thanks for the information.
$110 for the regular the customs start at $149
yessir!
@@expertboxing that's cheap compared to Neverlast
@@jimmybrava2810 VERY!
@@jimmybrava2810 WAAAAAAY better quality too which is unreal
cant afford winning so im buying their win1 gloves
What happened to your face bro lol...looks like you just joined the dark side. All love
hahaha, welcome 😈
They are manufactured in Pakistan but they are a Japanese company, the standards are high from Headquarters and need to be replicated by the factory.
that asian facial hair tho
hahaha
Get some sleep dude
yeah man!! was so tired

Your criticism of Pakistani boxing equipment is extremely biased. Yes, there are cheaply made gloves that are sold out of Pakistan, but there are also quality gloves sold. You have a harsh criticism of Pakistani gloves, but they have many qualities that Mexican gloves could benefit from.
You are a huge fan of Necali and Mexican style gloves. But Mexican gloves are notorious for being off weight. Why would I buy a 16 oz glove that will actually weigh 20 oz? Mexican dye also does not stay on the leather, it bleeds like crazy. Will stain your hands and your wraps. In addition, Mexican gloves have a rough inside liner. And stitching can be questionable. Mexican thumbs also have design flaws.
At the end of the day, it’s about the maker and their molds. Not the country of origin. You can combine some features from a lot of molds to make a quality glove. Rivals makes their leather style gloves in Pakistan and they are quality. I think you’re way too biased Johnny, and it comes out in a lot of your reviews.
...and you say this on a video where I praise quality Pakistani boxing manufacturing...
expertboxing yes. You start the video by going on a diatribe about how Pakistan does not make quality goods and has no boxing culture. I don’t care if you like one brand there, you put the entire country on blast.
@@fs2themax honestly, man...i been boxing for a long time and tried many gloves from many countries over the years. i use them day in and day out. i use them on the bag, mitts, sparring. it's my passion. the only thing you need to be doing here is figuring out why it is that i walk away with this opinion...and if my honesty hurts your feelings, then you need to reflect on it. if you truly feel pakistan is A-grade stuff, then just sleep easy and don't let one "wrong person" on the internet get to you. but for now...i'm gonna get right back to reporting what i find to my thousands of subscribers who are genuinely interested in my opinion. take care.
expertboxing that’s cool Johnny, we can agree to disagree. 👍🏽
