Hey mate ! Love your channel and I think lot of us have to thank you for the amount of work you’re putting in ! I recently bought a pair of Paffen Sport gloves (the Pro Wide ones) and I’m pretty impressed with the quality and overall feeling of the gloves. I think you should check this brand out, as they offer a variety of great gloves and is quite under the radar.
The company was started and I believe still has been run by a guy from Australia. Many of Australia's house brands have long outsourced their gloves and headgears to Thailand. YOKKAO, by the way, was started by an Italian guy. There are other lesser-known relatively new Thai brands that were started by non-Thai individuals. But still I don't recognize many of these brands are used for the professional competitions.
i have the boom compact gloves 16oz.. very comfortable in my hands, the padding is soft ideal for sparring but still create crack sound when i tight my fists
Yes exactly the piping on the thumb was tight and you feel the thumb is going numb with my boon gloves also 16 oz .. you really need time to break them in. Only after that they will be comfortable.. I had the same experience with top king gloves .
Im starting to look into Gloves and TopKing Does have that tight Thumb it's numbing until broken in. Have you found a better glove other then Boon and TopKing?
Hey man, i don't know if you remember the review since it was a while ago, but how would you say those SIDEKICK 3.0's stack up against the Hayabusa T3? obviously they have a very different price, but how similar/different are they in quality and style + if there are any other double strap gloves you know of then it would be great if you could share ✌
I got a pair of Fairtext 16 oz and they are very snug. My hands aren't large but thumb gets numb. Used them several times but so far no change. Do Boon have similar fit?
Hey what bag would you recommend for a begginer to get started training at home and possibly join a club. I’ve heard of OUTSLAYER and I’m thinking about buying it im just doing more research.
I was thinking about getting Grant Professional Boxing Gloves for Competition Fights or cleto Reyes or some rivals gloves but I’m not really sure what’s best for hat work or actually getting in the ring and I’m 15 I don’t gotta lot of money so I wanna make sure I make the right descion.
@@csquaredboxing Hi, Carlo. Why do you prefer the bgv9 over the Boon for the heavy bag? More padding, better feedback? which is better overall? Greetings from Manila!
@@csquaredboxing what sparring laceup gloves do you rec for under $100? i live in the united states and a pendulum style fighter. btw i love your reviews man and you helped me a lot choosing the right gear since i started
between this, the Fairtex BGV6 and the Twins BGVL3, which 16oz-er would be best for sparring? best for sparring = won't be punching my partner with bricks
Just received a pair of these gloves and I have the same issue. After five minutes of wearing these unbearable right at the pressure point of the thumb. Otherwise, great quality but idk what I can do with these gloves now, it is a shame
@@Jorge-jk5xr I had the same when i got them for maybe 3 weeks of training then now they were broken in and it is fine i completely forgot about that now they are comfortable
Don’t need to train in them immediately, just wear them around the house in intervals. Do some pushups in them, moved your hands around in them to loosen the leather. It was ridiculously tight for me when I got it, but I did these things for a few days and when I took it to the gym it was fine for me
Hi, love your channel. Pleass review the Bgv 19 from Fairtex. It's supppsed to be an improved Bgv 1, but I've only seen one review of it online. The model has been out for a couppe of years at least.
Man this is the best thailand boxing gloves I’ve bought Used twins bgvl1,bgvl11 fairtex bgv1, bgv9 Boons classic 14oz feels like Bgvl1 Twins inside while having fairtex bgv9 cuff and that mexican style feedback Would choose boons all day
im using bv9 and boon compact 16oz the bv9 have no knuckle protection, you throw a hard punch you could hurt badly your knuckles.. while boon not only give me a hand protection like winning gloves, also has a nice pop on bags
@@Juanchomagro Only thing I dont like about boons is about how large it its lol. If u place twins bgvl1 to boons its large asf wont use it pn amateur fights tho. Good for sparring n training overall
Need a list of your top 10 muay thai gloves!
Probably they are best in terms of price performance wise

I remember asking you to review Boon gloves during covid lockdowns (I watched a lot of your vids when WFH) so I'm glad you got around to it!
👍🏼🥊
As usual another great video letting us know what we're getting, what to get, and what not to get!
Thanks

Could you do a review on the geezers hammer 2.0, I mean to see if they’ve gone from solid to good?
Thanks Carlo, all the best
I’ll try
Hey Carlo, which do you like better, Windy or Boon?
Can you review boon fight competion glove?

Hey Carlo, would you recommend the fighting fury, ring to cage c17 or this one for training and sparring?
That’s a hard one, probably fury

What about boon compact?
How would you compare it to the Twins 16oz? Is Twins still bulkier? And what about the overall feel of the glove?
Can you do a review on Raja's premium boxing gloves?
I’ll try
Would you recommend these or the Fairtex BGV-5 for overall boxing training gloves?
Just put mine down. Never try to spar with these unless it is against a rival gym. You'll keep the feud going another 10 years.
why so? is the padding not good?
@@DeezeNutsInYoMouf The padding IS good... for you. Not for the other guy.
u still using these? what do u think now?

Are these meant for boxing? I’m confused if it’s for Maui Thai.
