Imagine having that 1000th Jet Ski and seeing a signature from Jerry. I would be both amazed and terrified thinking he might've torn down, disassembled and reassembled the Jet Ski like he does with his phones. Then watching this video and feel that sigh of relief.

They already exists as snow bikes. They are loud and last just minutes at lackluster speeds.

I was thinking $15K seems like a reasonable number for an electric jet ski. For once the actual price is close to what I would expect!
The one he shows the 160hp is $19,490 the cheaper 90hp is $17,490 👍🏼

@@trytthisnowk and spark will run for longer on a tank. These have a 24KWh pack, so with upto 120KW of power, that isn't a lot of run time.
No floating charge stations yet, my seadoo gtx is more practical and I love EVs but saltwater is a different beast

@@sys-administratorThat is a wild claim. This is basically an oversized rc boat. There is a lot that can and will fail.
No chance the battery lasts more than 5 years of use. Water is not kind to discharge rates, high c rates are not kind to cycle life. This watercraft is much slower than the claimed 160hp would suggest. Thats why we didn't get a demonstration.

Zack, you definitely need to return for the snowmobile assembly and take it further. Take your Rivian (or fine, a Lightning) and tow the Taiga to the trailhead, ride around, and then use V2V to re-charge! The idea that sleds or PWC's could soon share electrons with the vehicle they're towed by is really intriguing.

As someone who has owned several Jet Skis...
I know that maintaining them is at least 5 times more difficult than maintaining a motorcycle.
The no maintenance aspect is definitely the BIGGEST selling point to me.
Jet ski maintenance is pretty simple

Yes. Of course, we would love to see how their snowmobile’s are made as well. We know the process is going to be very similar but people like me love watching how things are made.
I can’t imagine the batteries lasting very long on a snowmobile. Just think about going camping & it not plugged in at night and the cold drains the batteries and it leaves you stranded on a camping trip
