- Here we have something that is long overdue: a python working an unlimited route. This truck runs in Barberton M-W and Munroe Falls Thursday, but is just a help truck Friday. My trash guy was in a rear loader, so they sent him up to run the back 1/3rd or so of the route. Side load unlimited might not be the easiest thing in the world, but it gets the job done. I've really wanted a video of these doing more than just carts for a while now, so I was glad to check that box. I hope you enjoy what I feel is more entertaining than your average ASL video.

In Louisville Kentucky... they don’t do any of that. They drop the trash cans in the actually truck. Throw your trash cans in the street, damage your lawn. You wake up and your trash is literally up and down the street. This video is just a dream!!!

Very eye opening. Makes me a little angry as to how rude people are with the trash, but mostly I feel gratitude to these folks who do the work.
Trash trucks came a long way, I remember when we used to ride on the back
They still do in my area. They have one truck that comes along just for the heavy stuff. Then another guy drives the automated arm truck.

My gosh this guy is the man, drive heil sideload , it terrible sucks It design for condominium with underground wires and non overflow toters also at least 4 feet apart from permanent objects, it should be a labrie sideload
Excellent video!! Those 64 M series are popping up in my area too, also see you guys have adopted the black top lid for trash, we've had that for a while now and I like it. That's an interesting cart at 10:44. So cool to see this guy take all the large items like the mattress. I once saw a driver I know take a large fridge with his python. Although it took several tries to get it into the hopper, it was cool to see first hand.
Yeah, I think Republic is going with the light blue lids for recycle and black for trash nationally. The black lids are growing on me. It made for a cool video for sure, I was glad I was finally glad to get one on an unlimited route as they've been around for quite a while now.

Awesome catch! I love those carts, glad you could film them. These drivers sure do get out a lot, I guess that's what happens when they put a Python on this type of route.

I'm in Indy, and we have a separate truck that takes bulk/heavies. All that getting in and out defeats the purpose of having a claw. I'll never understand why ppl put their cans so close to their cars and mailboxes knowing how the cans r picked up. He might as well had just took a rear loader and a laborer out for that route.

I been trying to apply but it keep saying my email is wrong
I drive a side loader and I will get out for some little things like broken down card board but other than that if it isn’t in the can it gets left behind. We have a thing called bulky items truck that takes the big things like that mattress. Also he isn’t that good if he can’t flip the lid closed when he sets the can down.
I have it for 3years. Each year the price when up . At beginning is 119, 2nd year is 149, 3rd year is 159. I don't know how it works. And if you lost your trash can or dumpster , you need to pay for it.
How do you know where to go when you first start? GPS? And is it hard to get the hang of it? Does republic send you to another state to train, like waste management does? I might apply but republic services is almost an hour drive from where I live.

Those python arms suck, they make tons of messes, I service over 1100 barrels a day, I would live at work if we had these trucks
When do you put down the heavy load very back wheels? Does the truck do this automatically or do you have to do it?
Those are called "Tag axles" and yes it's manual.
They are also lifted and lowered by air.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, there was a lot out this week. Those were weird at first but now they are growing on me. I think Republic is going to the black lids nationally. They go back and forth with Otto and SSI, just depends on what they can get. We were supposed to but it sounds like that is on hold for a little while

All brown or all blue are for garbage blue with light lid is recycle
The ones he doesn’t collect are recycle bins
We republics to our trash can solid blue for trash and blue with yellow tops for recyclables

On many of them, the bodies aren't bolted to the frame but is hinged on the rear. It raises up like a dump truck for unloading.

I know it's just trash but some of the people have no respect for the person that has to do his job and pick it up. Special pick up should be required for large items.
My town we are allowed one trash can, lid closed, once a week. Everything outside is extra. Overflowing refuse cans are refused by the refuse man. These places have more lax policies

Great Video!! The best part was the mattress!!! And I don't find these types of trucks much where the claw is tucked in... The most disappointing was when he spilled some trash out of the garbage truck, Didn't pick it up :(...GREAT VIDEO... I actually tried that a few months ago. They are MASSIVE in Las Vegas. I went to the main office in town but I couldn’t even talk to anyone. I was told apply online. This is going to be a dream come true and a true career milestone when I finally get hired. I know it’s gonna happen one day. And I’ll be here 20 plus years until I retire !

It doesn’t happen this way. IF that show up, they MIGHT take your trash, but they DEFINITELY WON’T get out of the truck for any reason. I have gone as long as two weeks without trash pickup and this company is responsible. This video is TOTALLY FICTIONAL. ESPECIALLY the part where trash lands on the ground and the driver gets out and picks it up. Pathetic
