And yet here you are traveling further than we ever could have imagined 5 years ago bringing us amazing quality footage of what is still out there! Keep up the hard work! I don't care much for the design of the trucks with the dump box on the front. It seems like it would make turning tight corners harder for the truck. And it blocks the headlights and front turn signals.
I heard the average garbage truck can hold trash for 850 homes. I'd love to know what % it can compress the trash at and if that % can go up more or is there some law of nature that prevents that from happening. If we condense all the trash in the world by lets say 90% then our landfills would shrink! It's all just a bunch of space anyway as atoms are 99.9% empty space.

Do waste management drivers really work 12 to 14 hours a day? I've got an interview with W/M, but 14 hours a day, I'm not so sure I'd want to do. Do they pay a set rate per day, or by the hour?

Erik Caldwell yes, sometimes it can even be longer if a breakdown happens but they do pay by hour, at least up here they do
