Many drivers are directors of marketing and people that worked on the game that wanted to create a car to put their name in the game. BC Vaught #192 is a band member of hed(pe) who sings Get Away in the game. Scott Brewer currently works as a car chief on the #17 car. Robin Wawak is the daughter of Bobby Wawak, it was her who wanted to put her father Bobby in the videogame NASCAR Thunder 2004 and they made a custom car for him #36, she also helped work on the game. Dick Paysor is Rusty Wallace's PR man and executive for his dealerships, Dave Alpern works at Joe Gibbs Racing. Dave Nichols's son Dave Jr. was the crewman that was involved in the skirmish at Vegas between Joey Logano and Kyle Busch who left Busch bloodied. Mandy Misiak helped develop the game. Tom Smith was the photographer who took the driver photos in the driver select screen. Mark Jacobs was a crewman for Bill Elliott's team and is now deceased. Josh Neelon was an agent for several drivers, Tim Sullivan was a marketing specialist and spokesman for NASCAR. Sasha Soares is Marketing Director at Team Penske and Katrina Goode is NASCAR's director of marketing currently,.

One time I was walking through my university's athletic department and saw an office with Chuck Spicer's name next to the door, I thought for sure it was a coincidence until I looked him up and saw he was also a PR director at RCR for about a decade. It had just never occurred to me before that most of the "fantasy drivers" were actually real people in the NASCAR business lol

Barney Hall, Winston Kelley, Eli Gold and Joe Moore are also fantasy drivers in the game, and all of them are real. They all worked for MRN.
Crissy Hillsworth, Cheryl King, Mike Brown, and Linda Latiuk all developed on Nascar: Dirt To Daytona, NASCAR Thunder 2004 and NASCAR Thunder 2003.

Pretty insane how much content they had in this game. I have NASCAR 09 for Xbox 360 and has only a fraction of the content. And is not a fun game.

In the Create-A-Car menu, Create a car with the first name being "Extra", and the last name being "Drivers". You should be able to unlock the thunder plate that allows you to play as them.
