Because Tyler is not a Nashville whore. Nashville tells country radio what to play and therefore controls what people think country music is. That's why it took a show like "Yellowstone" for people to know who Ryan Bingham was, even though he'd been putting out great music for more than a decade.
I'm just a born and raised 43 year old W. V. HILLBILLY and so very much proud of that I can assure you that and I have been listening to more and more of Mr Childers every chance I have which is usually a daily basis because I live for music it's therapy and motivation and helping with questions to every day life for me it lets me clear my head and actually get to process the whole thought process the way it should be and it helps keep me from getting all worked up over the stuff that I probably shouldn't be but I'm me and nobody else and it's what helps me and not only that I just love music so very much i mean I don't have very few times during my day that I'm not listening to music and when nobody else can hear it I will almost bet you that I'm singing something in my head lol 😂 I always wanted to try to become a singer i come from a very musical family and I have even had people to try pushing me forward but just because someone is trying to boost your confidence doesn't mean you can actually sing or even have any potential with the right training but I would love to have a professional that I don't know and that knows what there talking about give me an honest answer that's not even why I wrote this comment It got way off track and I'm sorry just know that I love some Tyler Childers and I think White House Road is probably my favorite right now at least 😂
Tyler Fuckn Childers!!! This boy could single handedly save country music. Love every thing he sings and this one is my absolute favorite. Can you even drive the speed limit with this tune cranked up on your car radio? Hell no! "But its a damn good feelin to run these roads"
*and at 21 I played at Willie’s Locally Known in Lexington, Kentucky, owned by my pal Arthur Hancock, for Benton Scrivener’s 47th birthday party. It was and still is the highlight of my career. 🎉 😁⚡️
Being a SE KY musician, I can tell you Tyler simply plays his roots. All.of us grew up on singing like this, and instead of changing for the world, he stayed real. Very proud of him....and yes, that's some hot players up there that KNOW how to play for the song...simply dont get much better
This dude reminds me of how I felt when Dwight Yoakam hit the scene back in the mid 80’s. I was instantly hooked halfway through the first Dwight song I heard, same with Tyler.
Still absolutely in love with this song but for some reason in this version I'm just in awe of how clean that snare sounds.. band plays so tight it sounds like a studio edit
I have several new country artists I love that don't get the radio recognition they deserve. Tyler might be the one that deserves it the most. Dudes an absolute Country Legend!
Tyler filled in for a sick sturgil simpson at the Outlaw fest at Merriweather. I was sad to have not seen Sturgill Simpson but im now a huge Tyler Childers fan. He tore up Merriweather
So much passion in his voice! He is amazing. Never cared for country music. This is above and beyond all that garbage. Right up there with John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earle and other great story tellers that make your day.
Being a musician (keyboards) from Texas. I always love and respect the ones from Kentucky. My dream is to travel up there some day and sit in with some musicians in that part of the country. Either on upright bass or keyboards. Love this song by the way.
Check out Charleston Girl from the Whispering Beard Festival- he does fine work on that too. Reminds me of Sneaky Pete and the Flying Burrito Brothers.
Thank god for this man… imo it’s Childers, Colter Wall, Logan Halstead and Nolan Taylor at the top of the game right now. Love that good, heartfelt music is still alive!!!!
Refreshing sound. Original writing. When you’ve given up on country music because Taylor Swift And Florida Georgia line suck ... it gives us Chris Stapleton , Stergil and this cat.
I like it. I love this song. The country bass is thumping but kinda generic and trying to overtake the underlying riff of the song that's already good.
Why isn’t this more popular than the bs we’ve been getting in country for years
Because Tyler is not a Nashville whore. Nashville tells country radio what to play and therefore controls what people think country music is. That's why it took a show like "Yellowstone" for people to know who Ryan Bingham was, even though he'd been putting out great music for more than a decade.
He gets more popular everyday!
The world is not generous. YOU ARE JUST EXTREMELY TALENTED
I love how humble he is
God I luv this song....
I just found it 2nite March 8 2024 it makes me wanna grab my guitar!
I'm just a born and raised 43 year old W. V. I listen to Tyler every single night. I have a playlist of just him. I have been lucky enough to talk to him several times.
The worlds not generous enough, way more people should know who this is. It’s mind blowing to me that people listen to radio country over this
He has a kick-ass band too! Killer bass line and minimal steel work when he sings about death. Drummer is tight as hell and sings harmony.
Tyler and the foodstamps doesn’t get better than this.
Tyler Fuckn Childers!!! This boy could single handedly save country music. Love every thing he sings and this one is my absolute favorite. Can you even drive the speed limit with this tune cranked up on your car radio? Hell no! "But its a damn good feelin to run these roads"
It ought to be a sin to be this talented😊
Tyler is incredibly talented. I love all of his music.
*and at 21 I played at Willie’s Locally Known in Lexington, Kentucky, owned by my pal Arthur Hancock, for Benton Scrivener’s 47th birthday party. It was and still is the highlight of my career. 🎉 😁⚡️
A collab between Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, Koe Wetzel would be the most legendary moment in history
i bet itd be like the highwaymen where they dont harmonize but make a kickass song still
I’d like to see Tyler and Billy Strings play together. 🎸
This is the stuff that needs to be played on the radio. Not Luke Bryan.
right
I know right!
Fuuuuuuhk yeah
To edgy drinking and driving and crack song
ya ; and some Shakey Graves...ruclips.net/video/eUkSTnUK_T0/видео.html
This guy is great I love his music

This dude reminds me of how I felt when Dwight Yoakam hit the scene back in the mid 80’s. I was instantly hooked halfway through the first Dwight song I heard, same with Tyler.

Great music to listen to on the bike

Solo, this song is one of the greatest country songs of all time. With the band.....it's just another country song.
Cheers everyone from Cleveland. Thanks tyler!!
Being a musician (keyboards) from Texas. I always love and respect the ones from Kentucky. My dream is to travel up there some day and sit in with some musicians in that part of the country. Either on upright bass or keyboards. Love this song by the way.

Damn, i’m speechless, u got some talent, bro.. love from Belgium, Europe ❤️
I absolutely love how jovial and light this version sounds.
The Red Barn Radio live version of this song is my favorite but I love every single rendition of his.
It’s the absolute best version in my opinion
That's one incredible lineup. Drummer is just fire.
great voice. he sounds just like he does on the record.Hell of a steel player up there too
Check out Charleston Girl from the Whispering Beard Festival- he does fine work on that too. Reminds me of Sneaky Pete and the Flying Burrito Brothers.

Thank god for this man… imo it’s Childers, Colter Wall, Logan Halstead and Nolan Taylor at the top of the game right now. Love that good, heartfelt music is still alive!!!!

Shit must get crazy there…drummer has a barricade 🇺🇸😎🇺🇸
Fuck theres a lot of talent here
This guy made a Norwegian who doesn’t like country music, like country music.
Cuz it ain't country. It's redneck mountain music brother.
What is the instrument the guy is sitting down playing.
Steel guitar I believe
That's the infamous steel lap guitar my friend
jenny of oldstones song
High wall.
Jesus Loves You
I like it. I love this song. The country bass is thumping but kinda generic and trying to overtake the underlying riff of the song that's already good.
I didn't know Ron Jeremy played drums.
Redheaded ginga can sing
solo way better for some reason
Team roping on coke is a blast
