I don’t think his band gets enough credit. the bass player and electric guitar player can adapt and play multiple instruments and damn good too . Don’t get me wrong Tyler has a ton of talent but this band backing him just makes him that much better. props to all of the guys.
My only complaint is they don't stretch these songs a bit more, this one is a great example of them jamming out a little more but so many of the songs are barely 3 min when they should be at least double that they really can jam so they should
@@JohnSmith-fq7hj I agree with you 100% I think it mostly has a lot to do with the stage time they’re given. If it’s not a ton of time they gotta kinda gotta rush the set list
Put this dude on the radio and bring back real true country music not the BS on the radio today 🤟
He's on the radio.
@@r3alfish not often enough
@@BigTruckWreckerMan I can agree there
If he's on the radio, that means you live in the southern states. Up in Canada, our country stations play fake cowboys like keith urban lol. I would love for them to play the likes of Tyler Childers or Colter wall
Nobody listens to the radio
My favorite song. Period. Tyler is the definition of underrated.
Amen. I live in Lexington, Ky and flew to LA, California for my 1st show. Doesn't that tell you how real he is? I ask that kindly:) He's epic! He's my modern day Willie Nelson. Which I've been to o
70+ shows. Tyler is just as talented and then some..in his own right. Willie will always be #1 in my book. Tyler is 2nd
Damn right
It makes my ND brain (& body) get happy tingles. Tyler's voice. Every instrument. The lyrics & feelings.
BRB gotta go put on my Ariats so I can properly stomp it out 😆 I love all of TCs music but this is the song I sing & dance to EVERY time I hear it. Keep it on repeat the most, with Creeker coming in 2nd.
absolutely
The real country music
How is he singing and tuning his guitar at the same time? Absolute legend
He most likely has a tuning pedal he is looking down at his pedal board.
Rather common
I don't think he's actually singing, sounds too perfect.
Well this either the most perfect vocal performance ever, or he's lip syncing..
@@Manwell.Wellmanhe’s actually singing; you realize some people can just sing, right? His vocals dimmed when he pulled his mouth away from the mic. Clear indicators of lip synching were not there.
I’m thinking it’s “you can turn it into cinder & smoke”. That’s my take on it. Anyhow it’s great no matter what you think. I love Tyler, drunk or sober, all of him all the time. Woulda never got thru these Covid crazies without him. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
That band sounds so good.
Just got w w e 2k24 yesterday for Playstation plus monthly games for October And heard this song first time hearing it immediately slaps
1:11 drummer got lost in the sauce for a quick second haha
Your so awesome
2k24 brought me here, love it 😁
Same! What an absolute song this is. Not my usual kinda stuff but this is bloody brilliant
haha me too
“You can turn it to Sindarin smoke.”
Who knew Tyler was such a Tolkien fan? Obviously this line refers to the burning of the swan ships at the hand of Fëanor during the First Age.
You had me in the first half, not gonna lie.
This might be the perfect comment
This might be the perfect comment
*into Sindarin smoke. Otherwise you've got the line just right.
I always thought it was cinder and smoke
Never seen a lead guitarist use a thumb pick for solos that’s awesome
Was just thinking that. Might have to give it a try
Johnny Winter
Mark Knopfler
Robbie Robertson used to do practically the opposite - flat pick, plus two finger picks on his ring and middle fingers. Really weird setup.
Freddie King used a thumb-pick with a Gibson ES 335
This band! Wow
I VERY highly recommend seeing him live anytime you can, Saw him in his hometown louisa, 50k standing on mainstreet. Cold rain, Yet the concert was so good i would do it again 1000 times. Best live performance i’ve ever seen. being in his hometown looking around at his childhood while he was singing brought a whole new level of personality and made me fall in love with his music even more. Not to mention his live voice is even better than on a record
Ok. Song, perfect.
What a feckin band you have! I love this sound. That keyboardist is feisty!
All I can say is amazing 😻
My favorite music video ever. I have the entire wedding dance down 💃🕺🏻
WWE 2k24
Saw Tyler and Band at Ottawa Blues Fest last week. Awesome, band!! Get to a concert before it's too late.
that bass player is KILLIN it
I love how he looks like he's strait outa 1979.
How is it that I just heard this song yesterday for the first time. 3/26/24
Whew boy that wasa some mighty fine a pickin and a singin there. Hate modern country music love this guy
I think Tyler set the whole house on fire. Good lawt I love this song.
Amen!
that funk on the keys at the beginning is on point! Jamie sounds like he’s been practicing the whole virus shutout.
The whole band did a great job, gotta give it to them aswell
🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ im still waiting on my FOODSTAMPS BAND ACTION FIGURE SET🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Great and vastly underrated band! 😍
I’m falling into a mad crush on this guy…
Gotta get my daily dose of this guy. Love his style and band❤😊🇨🇦
One tight ass band.
I saw childers at starlight in kc last month. I went in a Fairweather fan, liking this song. I walked out a diehard fanatic after seeing it preformed live!
I’m in love with this song
One of the greatest live performers of all time. He’s got a personality or emotion for every song & you actually see it, feel it, & hear it.
YES!!
That's because he done lived it.
@@supertravdoggy Amen
someone pls explain to me why he hasn’t reached a mainstream audience yet…
Because country music is no longer “mainstream” Nashville has been pushing forward pop music groups with jeans on and a southern accent. As is with American pop culture in general, the majority have no palate nor demand quality entertainment anymore and mediocrity is the norm as it sells. The “country” music scene has been anemic for years with the same junk recycled lyrical content with a hip hop beat in the background and people buy it so they keep making it. You are NOT going to see the likes of Cody jinks, Colter wall or Childers in the spotlight anytime soon.
@@philchavez366 yeah i know. i guess it was a rhetorical question. i just think if some of those people that only listen to the radio, who might have no clue who he is, actually listened to him they’d actually like him
@@philchavez366 don't forget Sturgill
My son absolutely loves him and all of his friends do. They have for about 3-4 years now. He’s amazing!
What a group he is a singer and they are an awesome band
Its Gratefuldead meets country.
Psychedelic jamband/country is a really neat genre.
His band deserves their own Chanel!!!!!
Best band in music right now !
Fiddle player wearing a Billy Strings hat? I think so.
Mullet man is jammin out
His name is Craig and yes he is always bopping his head.
Fiddle player has a Billy Strings hat
Everyone should be wearing one! (Billy just added a permanent fiddle to his band!)
This is real music. Childers should be mainstream, but I don’t think he wants that.
I don’t want it either. I want to be able to afford tickets!
Party time🎉
Someone said he's the next "redhead stranger" ,& I think there right !
Dreadheaded stranger, according to Tyler. When he still had long hair he threatened to get dreadlocks just so he could call his album dreadheaded stranger.
Wow. Just wow.
Could this go on for 10 minutes, please? 😉
They play too damn good to be sober. Every single one of em lol.
that look on the drummers face at 1.14 hahahah oh we've all been there Sir.
lmao
❤ love his musical talent down to the core of my soul!
1:34 when that guitar solo kicks in... zoo wee mama
especially around 1:57
man. so talented.
This dude is the most underrated ever.
Okay but why the ball shot at 0:15🤨
The Professor is an incredible musician but a fiddle player he’s not.
The man. Timothy Tyler there tough enough to go. Love this guy
This song used to be called Cinder and Smoke before it was on a record.
What a jam 🔥
bass player has a great mullet
Great live performance!
Amazin!
I agree
I feel like Tyler and Ed sherdan could do am amazing collaboration together.
Welpt this song is better life than I ever imagined
Who came from wwe 2k24
🙌
🙏
🔥🔥
So you all thick that Luke is not the best out there
I'd set your house on fire, Mr Childers. Ayyyyeeee...
F yes
1:23 🤤
Dear God
Tuning guitar with capo on?
Yeah. Sometimes the springs or clamps apply uneven tension when they get worn out. I always tune after putting one on.
@@cdcurry4654 I wasn't aware you could do that.
If your not tuning after you put the capo on your going to be out of tune. Even with a perfectly set up guitar, once you put the capo on the strings will be slightly out. This is the best way to ensure an in tune performance. So many singer songwriters miss this
@@wildfeatherrecording6215 agreed. That’s always been my experience. You’ve got to fine tune after putting a capo on & taking it off. I think some guitar players are just cursed with tone deafness.
3rd fret, it's in F
Stadium.. at least it was for a good cause. Please don't go stadium brother.. your Ilk don't wanna see that, man.. we'll tolerate this one.. you get one.
The fiddle player is great (they all are), but what’s up with his left ear? No, seriously. Have a look during his first solo, there’s a huge amount of it poking above his cap. 🤔
Smh.
Here for WWE 2k24!
What's it called when its lip singing but for the instruments 🤣
Redneck disco-funk! More please!
Chase Lewis on Keyboard is great as well as the entire band. They sound great with Tyler.
