Well in my humble opinion, I believed they should just skip Sentry and go straight to Miracleman and their are plenty of great MM story arc Marvel can use like Neil Gaiman's current run (once he finished it) to the critically acclaimed Alan Moore run.
I just read the 2000 comic last night (inspired by Nando) and personally I think a oneshot special wouldn't work, pacing-wise. I think something like a 3 episode miniseries would be perfect, and as someone else in this comment section said, Brendan Frasier should play Bob

The first doctor strange post credits scene with mordo still feels unresolved. Mordo hunting sorcerers and coming across doctor voodoo in New Orleans would be incredible

A Howard The Duck special presentation could be legitimately funny and would be a nice way to bring this obscure character back to the limelight
I liked his first movie, but they should really focus on his romantic relationship more in the sequel

I know you said you wanted a younger-ish Brother Voodoo, but if we went WAY older, or if we're casting his mentor, Papa Jambo, I think Andre De Shields (Hermes from Hadestown) is a shoo-in for the sole reason that I'm pretty sure he could make hours of magic lore/exposition sound absolutely captivating.

I’m all about bringing Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje on board a middle aged Brother Voodoo. He can definitely carry the accent and has the physical look. Check out HBO’s old series OZ, where he plays Adebisi.
I feel like you could have Deathlok be a minion for Kang, someone he picked up during his time travel adventures and recruited by promising to help him and who ends up betraying him

Its on the verge of that right now. What i think Marvel could do if they want that is doubling down on more projects but saying broadly that they will be focusing on connecting characters and not projects so that you dont have to watch everything everyone appeared in to understand
That Brother Voodoo pitch is almost the exact same thing that happened in the finale of Cloak & Dagger: the heroes have to fight a “zombie” invasion in New Orleans which was caused by a villainous corporation. And, funny enough, Baron Samedi appeared in Cloak & Dagger’s second season.
I’d still love to see it though, maybe just add an reference to C&D or maybe lean into the Scooby-Doo and make the Badon Samedi leading the zombies an AIM imposter of the real one who we saw in the show.
Either way, Brother/Doctor Voodoo is a long overdue character in the MCU.

@@NandovMovies Part of me thinks that the C&D writers were partially adapting from Brother Voodoo comics just because of how much of a part voodoo and New Orleans plays in the story.

@@NandovMovies you need to watch the rest of the first season at the very least. The only times I've cried during anything Marvel was when Iron Man died in Endgame, when Aunt May died in Spider-Man PS4, and one of the episodes of Cloak and Dagger season 1. Amazing show, up there with the Netflix shows imo.
This may be too much of fan fiction, but an animated special presentation on Steve returning the stones would be great!

Actually, one more: I'd love a cameo of the Old West Ghost Rider / Phantom Rider in that Two Gun Kid & Iron Fist one. Perfect way to introduce two recurring power sets and three characters in one self-contained special without ever having to mention those specific characters again unless they want to, since the Iron Fist role changes hands and the Ghost Rider role does as well

Sword Master recently became Iron Fist, and I think it would be cool to use the Special to cue him up as the mentor of Danny Rand and become the main Iron Fist of the MCU.
Just going to say this, Moon Boy and Devil Dinosaur in the style of Primal.
Can be "live action" or animated, but it would bring some of that splaterpunk/ big monster action into the MCU.
Yeah I would really like that they could get some Disney workers and a marvel director to make it fantasised and adventurous/action sequenced

If Squirrel Girl ever gets brought in the MCU, I really really hope they get Ryan North as a writer for her (or at least an executive producer/consultant credit) I love how he writes the character and her world and it would be a great fit to establish her unique tone.
Swordmaster could be a great way to have a great live action anime feel, if marvel was able to treat their vfx people right
Same goes for Aero and White Fox as well been reading first 12 issue of Aero got to say the art is Phenomenal so much Potential for a Anime series on Disney Plus.

I don't see them doing swordmaster to be honest, the story is similar enough to Percy Jackson which is going to be ongoing for at least the next 6 years, that Disney wont want to tread on its toes.
For an obscure pick, I’d like to see Slapstick get one. Have it be a mix of live action and slapstick cartoon antics in a similar vain to Tom and Jerry. And then for a more well known pick, Norman Osborn. I’m not sure how likely this is considering that Norman Osborn was featured prominently in NWH which came out not too long ago but I think it would be cool to see a special that really explores Norman Osborn’s psyche and his building obsession with Spider-Man.
The Silver Surfer special is probably inspired by Moebius's Silver Surfer which is completly independant from the rest of the Marveuniverse and features no hero just New York witnessing the arrival of the Silver Surfer and Galactus.
Id rather have a full silver surfer movie that releases theatrically honestly I want to experience that on the cinemas
The current rumors I think actually imply this is gonna be an origin story, not on earth at all
2 ideas that I think could definitely be fun as Special Presentations
Throg-Expand on the cameo from Loki Season 1, maybe have Alligator Loki appear, could be interesting.
Secondly, I think Hit-Monkey could be a very fun character who is not quite popular enough for a full length movie, but could work really, REALLY well within a 50-60 minute special for Disney+
Pitch: release squirrel Girl special presentation first, then have a Throg presentation with a cameo from her as they both protect Central Park

All super cool ideas! I think this would also work as a "Strange Tales" series if they wanted to bunch a few of these together. Then we could a Man Thing spin off as well. Because everyone wants more Ted.
One way you could have a Silver Surfer presentation and not have him or Galactus play a part in the FF movie
is have the special end with some big event that Surfer cannot stop, and then that event becomes the new catalyst that gives the Fantastic Four their powers when they go up in space
When Nando mentioned a Western special presentation, my first thought was Carter Slade, the first Ghost Rider. He was later rebranded as Phantom Rider, but I'd love to see him reclaim the title and be an actual Spirit of Vengeance, just as played by Sam Elliott in the first Nic Cage GR movie. The special could even be called "The Phantom Rider" and play out like an episode of The Lone Ranger or something, but then at a pivotal moment, Carter's mask burns off to reveal the skull underneath.
I would totally watch any of these specials, especially Howard the Duck, Two Gun Kid, and Brother Voodoo!

It'll being more mutants into the MCU, and "Disney Channel musical" is a genre Marvel hasn't used yet.

Counterpoint, Squirrel Girl episodic shorts where she beats the strongest Marvel characters. All leads up to a slightly longer episode where it’s revealed to be her and Deadpool arguing over who’s got a higher body count a la Gimlee/Legolas
I hope that Michael Giacchino and Marvel makes a full 2 hour long black and white legion of monsters and or Midnight Sons movie that releases theatrically it could be a really cool visually unique take on a team up movie because they could make it a adventure monster hunting movie first and a superhero movie second kinda like the mummy with Brendan Fraser or Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman where the films aren't dealing with end of the world stakes like every other superhero team up movies like the avengers, fantastic four, X-men, justice league, suicide squad, eternals and guardians of the galaxy movies
Going off the black knight idea, I really like the idea of getting artists to write songs for a project/ character that are played as a theme. The Black Panther and Shang chi albums were great, but the songs weren't really thematically used in a movie.
I think what I'm trying to say is that Marvel (and superhero media in general) should use more songs with lyrics to hype up fight scenes (something similar to how power rangers had a song for the green ranger when he was fighting).
When Marvel start to introduce the mutants, they could use the specials to introduce Wolverine, maybe having the whole special taking place during phase one, showing Logan (and probably the Alpha Flight team) fighting the Incredible Hulk.
I've said the X-Men should be a streaming series and have lot of special presentation shows because there's near 500 mutants in X-Men, the marauders , the brotherhood of mutants,and the hellfire club

I actually kinda love the idea of Silver Surfer getting an 'hour long special' before the Fantastic Four movie.
Breakdown his reasonings, fears, and desires before showing him fighting the F4. That way it makes more sense for him to turn against Galactus.
I'm hopeful they take the canceled TV series and turn them into special presentations to link them to the MCU. Recast as necessary but there's so much potential. New Warriors/Great Lakes Avengers, Runaways, Power Pack, Heroes for Hire/Daughters of the Dragon, Marvels Most Wanted, AoS, Cloak and Dagger, etc.
Also a Ghost Rider Wild West special would be amazing
A coming-of-age-style special about New Warriors with ALL the cheesy 90s teen movie stuff. I said it. I need it in my life RIGHT NOW

For the Brother Voodoo one, if you set it in New Orleans you could have Sam Wilson show up and maybe hint at the Thieves Guild or whatever to have some setup for when they bring Gambit into the MCU.
Deathlok as a sort of alternate Universe Robocop sounds really fun. Don't really have anything to suggest or anything besides that.
a Howard Noir story would be really fun. I like the idea of having Krysten Ritter come back as Jessica Jones for the Special. I am curious what he would be investigating in the special, cause I don't think you said.
Squirrel Girl as a Special must happen. Maybe bring in some of the cast from the New Warriors show for the Special and have them work with her or be like friends from school or something.
Sentry could be interesting. I would like to know how they explain him being around the entire time and us not knowing.
I could see Blue Marvel maybe showing up in Captain Marvel 2 (it is called the Marvels, so why not have yet another Marvel for the team), but I could also see the Special happen as well that is his origin. I think Denzel and John David Washington being older and younger Adam Brashear is an excellent choice.
This is my first time hearing about the Sword Master character, but it definitely sounds interesting. I agree it definitely needs to be an Anime, and if Studio Trigger doesn't want it or whatever, maybe they could get Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli to do it. I know he's Japanese and not Chinese, but maybe Ryan Potter could be the lead.
I'm not sure how Two-Gun Kid would play in this day and age. Yes, it definitely sounds fun, but I'm not sure Westerns are really something most care about anymore, at least not serious Westerns. Maybe it would play better if it was more Westworld and not so much Shanghai Nights or whatever. I'm not saying Two-Gun Kid should be a sentient animatronic or anything like that, but maybe a darker story and stuff like that like what Westworld has. If you want to maybe draw in some of the older audience, maybe have Scott Eastwood be the Two-Gun Kid, since his dad Clint Eastwood is known for his history with Westerns.
An Alien style Marvel Boy project could be interesting, though maybe make it more like the Day the Earth Stood Still or something like that. Maybe they could have Annette Benning come back as Mar-Vell and have some other Kree or Skrull characters, or just alien characters in general.
I love your idea for the Black Knight Special. I'm a fan of Medieval stuff, and I love the idea of having some Metal bands do the music for it, but maybe instead of just Heavy Metal also add in some Death Metal and some heavier stuff like that, I'm thinking less in the realm of DragonForce and stuff like that (though those can be included as well) and more in the realm of Dimmu Borgir, Amon Amarth, and Behemoth. For the casting of Merlin, I'm not sure if either of them would want to do it, but I could see either Michael Gambon or Ian McKellen in the role, if only because they were Dumbledore and Gandalf.
Imagine an Iron Lad Special Presentation that plays off as a choose-your-own-adventure story (like that of Black Mirror's _Bandersnatch_ ) where you get to forge your own origin for Iron Lad only for that origin to *always* end up with Nathaniel Richards becoming Kang the Conqueror.

About the Marvel burnout thing, the people who are saying that are the same people that refuse to watch She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Eternals, and anything diverse or “woke”. I may be stretching with that, but in my experience it’s true.
Wolverine was born in 1832 and I would love to see a mini series of logan throughout history. Wild west, world war 1, 2, vietnam, uh any other war, ofc his weapon X phase, etc.
Daredevil Christmas Special that adapts that one issue from Waid's run where Matt treks through the snow with a group of schoolchildren.
I love all of these ideas, the Special Presentation format has so much potential to tell new stories in unique formats and introduce new characters in a less expensive manner compared to TV or film. Since you mentioned some characters from the pre-Disney+ shows appearing like Mike Peterson's Deathlok from AoS in Deathlok, Jessica Jones in Howard the Duck, and a previous Iron Fist in Two Gun Kid, I could see a few more characters appear.
Cloak & Dagger could show up and help Brother Voodoo since they're from New Orleans.
Depending on when a Squirrel Girl Special would release , if Jessica and Luke have returned in other projects by then, and if they've gotten together and had their daughter, they could appear in Squirrel Girl, but that requires a lot of things to happen beforehand so I doubt it.
Lastly, they could have Morgan Le Fay show up in Black Knight helping Mordred, but she gets defeated by Merlin and sent into the Dark Dimension. Perhaps the Darkhold could appear with its design from AoS (or the older design seen in a SHIELD document from an old parchment and Merlin changes the cover to look like the main version seen in AoS/Runaways), but Marvel may not want to deal with more Darkhold shenanigans.
Marvel burnout is a thing that probably comes from people who’s binged the mcu and didn’t watch from 2008-2019 with iron man to far from home

Honestly I'm surprised I haven't heard this idea for a Presentation yet
But I personally think it'd be a great way to get the Pet Avengers into an actual watchable format. Make it PG just like Ms. Marvel and have it parody all of these different origins of heroes just with the animals replacing them. You could even wrap it up with them essentially fighting any of the big Avenger baddies like Pet Ultron or Pet Thanos. I think it'd be a great usage of the format Presentations are gonna use going forward

These are awesome and I think this could be a nice way forward for Marvel.
No ideas for villains? I think doing villain special presentations would really help with the more shallow villain characters that have currently shown up in the MCU. The strongest ones are from the television shows because they’re fleshed out more. Maybe a 40-60 minute introduction would help.
Also, special presentation of one of the Ghost Riders.

Ahmed Best (jar jar binks) has wanted to play Blue Marvel for a while and I can definitely see it. He’s almost 50, he was also forced into a kind of retirement after jarjar due to the amount of bullying he received, and I think he needs another shot at a big franchise.

Honestly a batshit insane Heavy Metal Medieval Marvel movie would be incredible. DragonForce is a great shout for the soundtrack, turn everything up to 11.
Me and a couple of my friends actually hit a few of these beats while we were discussing what specials we would enjoy we actually pitch the idea of a black knight meets the Warriors three team up set in medieval times

I know there are no X-Men here, but it would be a pretty brilliant plan to introduce some of them in these “specials” and then just have them show up at Xavier’s in the movies with no explanation needed.
This is a solid list and I would LOVE to see anyone of those!!!
These are all genuiely fantastic pitches that I know aren't likely to happen but I NEED every single one of these! Especially love the Howard and Black Knight ones. I love the idea of also going into either the far future or the ancient past of the MCU. I also think Machine Man would fit well into the Deathlok one or on his own
29:00 Power metal for a medieval story always made sense, but don't think it has ever been done from my knowledge.
I would suggest having the Phantom Rider (Original Ghost Rider) appear in the Two Gun Kid special. Like having him show up in the finale or something like that, saving the day and disappearing. Would kinda fit with the "Monster Demon Things attack the Iron Fist" thing
The Agents of Atlas tie in from Sword Master calls to some fun possibilities. A mystical story with White Fox or a Kpop (show biz stuff tying into heroism, could also have the benefit of riding the current pop wave) setting with Luna Snow would be some really fresh ideas.

I love the black knight idea, I absolutely need a scene where it starts off as the standard medieval battle sequence but then after Sir Percy draws the ebony blade through the fire and the flames starts playing and he just starts tearing through hordes of enemy armies
That slowly get more and more modern as the fight continues

The Two-Gun Kid is actually an Avenger.
He and Marvel's western heroes met Thor, Moondragon and Hawkeye when they battled Kang in the old west (Avengers Vol 1 issue 142).
After that, he cane forward in time and hung out with Hawkeye in the American southwest before returning to his own time.

I'd love a special following Wong right after the Snap as he tries to interpret Dr. Strange's decision to give Thanos the Time Stone, gathering the armies that fought against Thanos, and rising to Sorcerer Supreme. I always wondered what was behind Strange turning to Wong and asking "Is that everyone?" and would love that explored.

I feel like the Special Presentations shouldn't be over used like don't have it replace series. At most I would say have 3 and at least 1 Special Presentations per year and not have like 1 every month or 2. Plus gosh I adore that Swordsman anime special presentation pitch
