Honestly with GOTG3 based on what little of the tailers I saw I thought he reunited with his animal friends. It wasn't until it showed rocket and Lyla hugging in the movie I went "huh thought that was gonna be in the fut..... uh oh"
I actually kept away from all trailers except the first two main ones deliberately. So I went in knowing about Lyla and I figured something bad would happen to her… but I didn’t know about Teefs and Floor, so seeing them for the first time was a horrifying realization that they’re probably not making it out. And the scene where it does happen is no less horrifying or heartbreaking. I think Doug is jaded after reviewing movies so long so he couldn’t get into it; but I saw what was going to happen to them and I was still devastated.
Samuel Sterns was supposed to become The Leader, like he did in the comics. He's a good character and it has been hinted at that he'd appear in future Captain America movies, despite being a Hulk villain. I think he's been forgotten about or they just can't be bothered using him.
Literally every enemy Tony faced - bar Thanos - was of his own making in some way. Talk about your zero sum equation! Love that you showed the title card for Dracula Untold, love that movie so much and am disappointed there was never a follow up.

More and more fans are realizing how bad Endgame truly is. If you actually analyze the film, it has numerous character flaws, story flaws, and simply principle flaws(disobeying the films OWN logic). Endgame in the end is just a fanscription, which is somewhat understandable from the directors pov, but its weakness comes to the attempts at the numerous Easter eggs and nostalgia trying to set up future flicks vs wrapping up a story.
Funny the description of end credit scenes at the end of iron man review is flipped now. People keep waiting for more and all to line up but for now it has been going no where. Especially the young avengers teases.
It doesn’t help that the MCU is so big that even when something is a success, it won’t get a sequel for 5-6 years. No sign of a Shang-Chi sequel, a Doctor Strange sequel.

The Russos hated that audiences based their understanding of time travel in Back to the Future and took a dump on it while insisting via Hulk that their time travel worked.

The Mandarin from Iron Man 3 ruined the entire movie. After loving Ragnorok, I geniunely hated Love and Thunder. Taking two serious comic storylines (the god butcher & Jane's cancer) and putting them in the wackiest mcu film yet was such a waste. It was all just too much Taika Waititi... both behind the camera and in front (a little Korg goes a long way). However, these films have been going for over 10 years, and after watching it with my kids, i realised im not the target audience anymore. My children absolutely loved it, they couldnt stop laughing.

As mid as incredible Hulk was, at least it did a better job at balancing character moments with action set pieces. Also Louis Letterer did a better job than Ang Lee.
And the DCEU only has Man Of Steel, and The Suicide Squad (2021). And that universe was a lot worse than the MCU. They even casted Ezra Miller as The Flash and Amber Heard as Mera. And those two already ruined the image of both characters in that universe.
I feel like people assume the entire MCU was on the same level as Infinity War and Endgame when no, it wasn’t, it’s just nostalgia. They were that good because they were payoff to a decade of storytelling. Marvel does have to put in the work to tell a worthwhile story so yeah they could have their IW+Endgame again, but fans have to realize that their nostalgia does color their memories a bit. I think if they commit to writing better and more focused they could make something of the jumbled and meandering Multiverse Saga so far. But it would only be fair to do a soft reboot after Secret Wars.
"Making up for the sins of the past..." Dude, the sequel movies largely shat the bed just as bad as what you claim the prequels did. Just like the prequels having some good things that can be pulled from them, neither stuck the landing they needed to and mulched any good will they could have mustered. Thank god I'm just a casual goes to this series to pass the time and see an adventure over a die hard fan because how do you people still see Star Wars as a legit good series after both those situations? I'd argue the start of the sequel trilogy did alright, but the next two detonated so hard they fucked too much stuff up with stupid decisions that makes the prequels more tolerable to stomach for their misgivings. When marvel went full on DEI, both in front of and behind the camera, it really started to decline. The beauty of comic books for years was how diverse the characters were without having to force it. Ms/Capt.Marvel aka Carol Danvers they did dirty none of her character from the comics is there. The Dark World was so bad that I still just remembered something about a Fire Giant at the beginning. I've watched it a few times, and still have no idea what happened in it lol. Thor: The Dark World is the worst of all Marvel Films.😅

The Mandarin from Iron Man 3 ruined the entire movie. They had already worked around the political correctness issue with the way they portrayed him, why not just let Ben Kingsley run with it as this super terrorist? I liked Ironman 2 better. This movie is the point I knew marvel and Disney are gonna wind up choking the fun out of everything because they didn't want to offend people.
Actually Ironman 3 might be my least favorite marvel movie

Has anyone else noticed that literally every Superhero that has a secret identity to protect their loved ones from reprisals get their people fucked with just as much if not more than Superheros that don't ? Spider Man, Batman, Green Arrow, Superman, Flash, Daredevil ect...
After loving Ragnorok, I geniunely hated Love and Thunder. Taking two serious comic storylines (the god butcher & Jane's cancer) and putting them in the wackiest mcu film yet was such a waste. It was all just too much Taika Waititi... both behind the camera and in front (a little Korg goes a long way).
However, these films have been going for over 10 years, and after watching it with my kids, i realised im not the target audience anymore. My children absolutely loved it, they couldnt stop laughing.

As mid as incredible Hulk was, at least it did a better job at balancing character moments with action set pieces. Also Louis Letterer did a better job than Ang Lee.
For a sec I thought this was Nostalgia Critic but the only MCU did there was iron man and no way home
And the DCEU only has Man Of Steel, and The Suicide Squad (2021).
And that universe was a lot worse than the MCU.
They even casted Ezra Miller as The Flash and Amber Heard as Mera.
And those two already ruined the image of both characters in that universe.
Everything was heading towards INFINITY WAR and ENDGAME
Now the MCU became a dead end
Subtract Captain Marvel, and add Far From Home, No Way Home, Guardians Holiday Special, and Guardians vol.3
They should've just rebooted the MCU after Endgame.
That way, it would've made a lot more sense.
And now Zack Snyder's gonna see an opportunity.

I feel like people assume the entire MCU was on the same level as Infinity War and Endgame when no, it wasn’t, it’s just nostalgia. They were that good because they were payoff to a decade of storytelling. Marvel does have to put in the work to tell a worthwhile story so yeah they could have their IW+Endgame again, but fans have to realize that their nostalgia does color their memories a bit.
I think if they commit to writing better and more focused they could make something of the jumbled and meandering Multiverse Saga so far. But it would only be fair to do a soft reboot after Secret Wars.
I think critic became much more cynical by the time he watched GotG 3

"Making up for the sins of the past..." Dude, the sequel movies largely shat the bed just as bad as what you claim the prequels did. Just like the prequels having some good things that can be pulled from them, neither stuck the landing they needed to and mulched any good will they could have mustered.
Thank god I'm just a casual goes to this series to pass the time and see an adventure over a die hard fan because how do you people still see Star Wars as a legit good series after both those situations? I'd argue the start of the sequel trilogy did alright, but the next two detonated so hard they fucked too much stuff up with stupid decisions that makes the prequels more tolerable to stomach for their misgivings. That's how bad those movies got! 😮💨

When marvel went full on DEI, both in front of and behind the camera, it really started to decline. The beauty of comic books for years was how diverse the characters were without having to force it. At some point marvel just started shoehorning women and minority characters into their projects and the storytelling took a backseat

My favorite Hero the only comics i own all from 1977 to the new ms marvel. ive read reread them. this shit of the 2 movies the lame girl power moment against thanos. i hate the first movie it was just a copy of goku went super sayian and saved the nemakians so lame. the second movie had photon did next to nothing i had high hopes,. kamala was the only marvel to watch. her show was fun, she was great i the movie not the same powers from the comics but it works

One of the key parts here was that Captain Marvel was also boring, and the pandering part was its only lifeline. Also, vast majority of audiences enjoyed NWH more that most other Marvel films, so this is just your opinion hun.
