Thank you been driving with no AC for over a year worked like a charm just a cheap relay $7.75 vents started blowing colder then the ex wife's heart cheer's 🍻
Thanks yes this worked, my ac was blowing hot the clutch thing was not spinning I bought the relay like you said now I have ac after dying heat here in Miami driving to work. I admit I don't know about cars these videos really help. Thank you again
I have a question. Will the relay engage while the ignition is ON but the engine is not running? I was wondering if I could jumper the relay and hear the clutch click without spinning the compressor.
my aircon doesn't work, someone suggested a faulty aircon relay ? in order to test it i took out another relay and put in in the slot where the air con relay was, no different aircon still doesn't work . So i put the relay back where i got it. After that i get check engine warning light and having problems with my idle speed . Anyone got some advise ?? Did i messed up the relay by trying it in the aircon slot ??
I installed brand new ac compressor, condenser and radiator fans with new ac compressor relay and checked the 10amp fuse at position #36 that hasn't been blown but ac compressor still not spinning/clutch isn't engaging? Would you suggest my climate control panel is bad?
I have 2007 civic ex ac won't kick on I check all relays and fuses they all good. Ac working before but after I installed after market foglights my ac stop working. I replaced a new ac compressor and it still won't kick on. Did the jump from relay it kick in but I still not sure what's the problem?
Drove with no AC for 6 years…. It was just an AC relay😅.. great job here showing the locations… just like to add, my AC clutch relay blew because the blower filter behind the glove box was jam packed with dirt. Takes 2 minutes to change that filter an then check the relay….. my AC is back.
This information was so helpful. I have a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid right hand drive and my mechanic said I need a new compressor. Do you know where I can purchase one from the us. I live in the Bahamas.
Hi my 2009 Civic SI will continue to die if not driven every few days. Could it be caused by the A/C Relay draining my battery when the vehicle is off?
Thanks, great video. My issue is the 7.5 fuse keeps blowing but I can jump the compressor to engage it and it works. Not sure why the fuse keeps blowing though.
Hi, very useful video and information good to check the AC . i need further your help to sort out my AC issue, Relays, fuses , compressor and gas all good my compressor only works when i put the direct link from the relay but dose not engage as normal with the AC switch, My car is Honda Civic IMA Hybrid 2006. Please advise further if you can. Thanks.
Hi great video 👍🏼 . I have a 2008 Honda Civic Ex and I rebuilt the AC compressor, everything was working fine for a few months. Now the 7.5 amp fuse located in the engine compartment keeps blowing out. The AC compressor does engage for about 10 seconds and then the 7.5 amp fuse blows out. All the fuses are good and there’s no cut or loose wires. I’m getting power to the AC and did a test light test on both positive and negative battery terminals. The AC switch on the inside is working also. Do you have any suggestion’s on what the issue can be? I’m thinking bad clutch coil but I’m not 100% sure. Thank you.
Hi Unfortunately no, I’m thinking bad AC compressor or clutch, although it’s holding refrigerant and has no leaks. Haven’t had a chance to remove it off the vehicle but I was thinking of having the AC unit recharged with new ac refrigerant and see if that might resolve the fuse from blowing out.
I did this and it didnt help :( my car is blowing hot air and it wont let me turn the A/C off. replaced the relays and fuses but nothing :( compressor clutch is not spinning !
@@benlehmann3926 yea so this model civic if it’s low on free on it will not turn the compressor on. I filled mine up and it turned on and worked perfectly fine for a day or 2. It stopped working cause I found out it has a leak
hi, i have a question, my AC isn't working, I checked and in the exit of the relay of the AC, in the fuse box, i have 0.9 DCV instead of 12, do you have any idea what may be the problem ?
I have a 2010 crv i checked the relay it’s good I’ve checked the fuses and there all good i even engaged the clutch even grabbed it and it too is good. What Else would you suggest i check. It absolutely does nothing. I’ve even removed the Freon just to see if the clutch would pop on and off because i have no Freon and still nothing. Please any advice would help.

Nice video very informational thank you
I am having issues with air not coming through vents when I press the buttons on the dash. Is that controlled by a fuse?
I installed brand new ac compressor, condenser and radiator fans with new ac compressor relay and checked the 10amp fuse at position #36 that hasn't been blown but ac compressor still not spinning/clutch isn't engaging? Would you suggest my climate control panel is bad?
You're amazing bro. Nine bucks saved me at least 700 bucks. I'm so relieved. Thank you sooo much!!!!

What could be the problem if my ac works randomly? Sometimes the clutch thing is spinning and sometimes it’s not
Good stuff
Thank for the help
Do you know where the wiper relay is located?
Thanks, great video. My issue is the 7.5 fuse keeps blowing but I can jump the compressor to engage it and it works. Not sure why the fuse keeps blowing though.
Probably not enough power bro try taking out a fuse you don’t need

Parking lights relay location,?
My ac was working perfect and now the compressor and fans wont turn on
I did this to my civic. Weird thing is the compressor only turns on when I manually jump it but won’t engage with any new relay
Same with me. Did you figure it out?
