@6:27 that is completely wrong. Turning on the key "upstairs" does not supply power from the battery terminal to the starter terminal, because that high-current fat cable is hot all the time. It's a direct connection from the battery, so again the key does NOT start power flowing through the black cable. The key upstairs sends a low-current start SIGNAL voltage to the solenoid, telling the solenoid to engage the starter motor.
Hi there, Do you have to flip the ring gear around the other way as the old starter uses a pulling action toward the engine and the new starter uses a pushing action away from the engine?
Where can I buy the small wire connector that he shows in the video? I purchased one of the high torque starters that she shows in the video, but it didn't see a wire connector like that.
This guy is the Bob Ross of old British car repair. Happy little starter.

Need a video showing actual mounting of starter in a 1955 Healey then we'll see how smooth his voice is.
I love watching Moss Motors hands of knowledge 🤔
Where do I connect the wire from the ignition switch that use to run to the solenoid?
Are these available in positive earth versions?
So when does the part about actually INSTALLING the starter begin? < zzz >
Love to see a demo.

Does this application work in a Mini?
What is benefit of the hight torque starter?
Less weigh and and more powerful cranking with less battery load.
